Except he quickly grew to realize that jogging? It was exhausting.
So he slowed back to a walk, and continued on, although he did manage to glimpse Peep being led back to where she'd come from. She looked truly beat, although the smile lingering on her face told Whistle that she'd done well. She really was the best matriarch the Mothers' Club could ask for: she always went beyond the expectations set for her.

Whistle was fast learning that he didn't like running or walking through mud - although he had to say he kept his balance better if he walked. So he did.

It must've taken a while to plan out such a circuitous route, and that was something Whistle could appreciate as he kept going. And it was...scenic, kind of. There was at least a lot of terrain that wasn't familiar, whether merely because he spent so much time around the Mothers' Club's territory (there were always foals to care for) or because he'd simply never had the time to look at it before.

He turned a soft corner easily, not sure if he wanted to continue until he was as tired as Peep had looked. At the same time, though, he was a kiokote, acha blood though he might possess, and he almost felt a little shame at the thought of being outpaced by one. Though of course Peep was the best acha to be outdone by.

He was growing a bit more accustomed to the change of terrains now, and he could adjust his pace or gait better.

Tribe: The Sunchasers Kin: Nomad Risk Rolls Available: 3 Score: 0/0 It was always difficult to track down the various members of The Sunchasers, but Nomad had heard the call and had agreed to take part without any hassle. This course was honestly just like what he usually did, walk until you drop. He was a wanderer and if he had to wander in a particular direction, well, fine. He had been hoping he might see his family around such a large event, perhaps his sister had finally joined that Acha troupe, but had yet to meet them. So, he began walking.

Tribe: The Sunchasers Kin: Nomad Risk Rolls Available: 3 Score: 31/26 Risk Roll! Quote: With the wind at your back you feel refreshed, and manage a particularly impressive burst of speed. Add 5 to your distance covered. He was travelling well and he was only just beginning to feel a slight burn in his legs. It seemed as if he could walk forever and a burst of wind behind him added to his good cheer. Nomad sped up, letting the wind push him along and enjoying its cooling touch.

Still, it was probably best to shift his thoughts away from how tired he felt - that was only likely to hurt him in the long run.
