Kuhaku returned his blade into its scabbard, looking over at Dahlia, "Two more is right. How about you give the next one a shot?" he asked, gesturing over to the next hog. "And if you need any help," he began, sitting in the green grass, "I'll be right here. Though I don't think you'll need it." he said before laying down and looking up at the sky. The battle system was something that he liked for sure. It felt natural. He's still not too sure what really determines the points. Most likely his stats and his gear. He smiled contently to himself. Maybe this was the world he wished existed instead of what was in reality. He closed his eyes, his hands behind his head.

Magnus made a sarcastic grimace at the mention of armor upgrades. Sure, he could take the path of medium or light armor, but it isn't exactly going to be effective in the role which he wanted to partake: tank. Though, he never really wanted to tank in the first place. Before he rose to his so-called "notoriety" in Player vs Player modes for being a virtually unkillable wall that hits back hard, he used to play more of a finesse type melee class, much similar to the fencer class in Cerich Online. If anything, he'd go straight for a damage build. Kill things fast enough that you don't need much armor.
Magnus chuckled upon mention of this go-to man. Sounded like someone he knew. Though, he didn't think too much about it and placed it at the back of his mind. After all, many of his friends (who were sadly not able to get a copy of the game yet) used their job skills into games, and to much profit and efficiency. That's really only why he bothered to point out that there may be a real life connection between Dima's archery in-game and out of it.
"Please. Don't call me Captain. You make me feel older than I really am." he said with a smile that mirrored the one Dima showed him, before going around to bushwhack a bit to gather some berries he saw after fighting the wolves.

Dima raised a brow as Magnus chided her about using the term Captain and making him feel older than he really was and led the way to bushwhack to earn some berries. Following but staying out of his range she, by hand picked a few berries, not making nearly as much progress as Magnus, then again that was one of the problems with an archer class, they rarely if ever started out with any weapons beyond a bow, even if they could equip other weaponry. "Does that mean you don't want to be guild leader?"
She paused, turning at the sound of a bird above them. In seconds she had re-equipped her bow, aimed, and there was an explosion of pixels as she caught a feather in her hand. Pulling up her menu she said, "Hmm... if equipped on your person it increases speed. Go figure the birds actually have something like that with them. And of course can be used for the typical for bows." She glanced over at Magnus and selected equip and said, "Sorry, I'm claiming this one for myself."
As she said that white feathers appeared on each of the side ponytails she had decided on. She glanced at him and said, arms crossed again, "Anyways, you are far better for a leader if we go through with the guild idea."

She quickly turn her head giving him a dark monotone look, "Sorry, that flirty talk of yours won't impress me," she quietly replied in japanese accent, then she look away to be more emotionless once again, "I can easily tell you stole both money from pinklette and raven hair player without detecting you, thanks to my special skills," she commented him as she recall back in town, her emotionless masked her shyness, "Please don't talk to me, I'm terrible at it since that day," she shyly thought in panic.

Rilo smiled and pulled a coin from his pocket and began twirling it on his fingers "You must know as well as I, this is what rogues were made for, everybody wants to be the hero, everybody wants the glory, but when they need a lockpicked, pocket pilfered, dagger in the back, or an arrow in the head, they come to us, But..." Rilo paused for a second and stared at the coin he was playing with "We don't Kill the bosses, do we? we were built to support, do the dirty work, but in the end, in a game like this, if you are alone, you'r stuck! Once Rilo was done entertaining himself with his own remarks he opened up his menu and sent the young woman a friend request "Accept it or don't, we got to stick together tho eh?" he muttered in his familiar, Scottish, accent as he walked back toward the city to hopefully team up with a group that needed their dirty work done for them.

Lisa listens to him and rose her thin eyebrow, this is why she prefer work alone. However, she did once notice on cooking skills quest, but she needs to be level 6 to get that skills, if she recalled about the manual before the day Cerich Online released, they will increase stamina, strength, attack, health, and defense once you make the meal, she need to get that skill. Heard about the boss level, she furrowed her eyebrow as he said about being alone, she remain emotionless, "You are making it sound like other players will use us as tools, rather then person. Besides, I only steal small amount of money, if it's an emergency. I have an assassin's skills, but I use that skill for good. If there is a boss that I have face, I will accept it," she replied monotone once again, "Besides, I would hunt the criminal players and do what assassins will do their victims. And I thought bows and arrows are for Archer Class. Rogue, in different game, have that ability." she comment, hinting that she's not taking a criminal easily. If she recalls that only bow and arrows are for archer. Deep inside, she wonder if she can trust him and get another chance after the whole years of not making friends since her ex-friends betrayed her. When he gave her a friend's request, she look at it for a while and with her shadow art, she can hear him muttered with his accent, and watch him go. Unknowing to herself, she curl her lip a little, "I think I will give him a chance," she said very soft tone like a gentle breeze, then regain her emotionless self as she accept his friend request, she found out his player's name: Rilo. She close down the request menu and turned around and heading back to the town to grab more quest.

After making her way to a spot far from the first city, Clair decided it was time to start power leveling. This wasn't her first VRMMO, she knew how to level up in games like this. While the mobs closest to the spawn were numerous and easy to kill, allowing new players to get some EXP in early, the stuff farther out gave a bit more. When she found a group of savage boars, it was time to set to work. All that Clair had equipped in the sense of armor was her basic starter gear. I'll need to find something to defend myself as soon as possible she thought as she slashed at three of the wolves at once, damaging each of them but not killing. She jumped back as two of the wolves moved for the attack and counter struck once she landed, killing one of them and gaining a decent amount of EXP. After taking out one of the wolves, she made quick work of the other two. Thankfully, she had yet to take an actual hit from any of the wolves, although that would likely not last for too long. After the first three wolves, Clair dashed into another group of the foul beasts. Clair struck the first of the pack and quickly followed up with a down slash to its head, before it had even fully disappeared, she had moved onto another one. She struck the second wolf with a stab right to its center, luckily for her, the wolf had a low enough health that the strike was able to kill it, even with her low stats. The stab left her open and unguarded though, and one of the wolves bit her in the left leg. Spinning around in a mix of surprise and anger, she made a few quick slashes at the wolf and watched its health disappear with each blow. The two remaining wolves came at her at the same time. She slashed at one of them and kicked it back, knocking it to the ground a few feet away. The other wolf though was already to close for her to prevent it from tackling her to the ground. The creature stood on top of her, pinning her to the ground, and bit at her head. Rolling her head to the side, she slipped her short sword up under the wolfs rips and killed it. By the time she had gotten back up, so had the other wolf. She wasn't very concerned about this last wolf though, she had already slashed it once and given it a good kick, so its health was low enough that she could finish it off with one body blow. After killing both the groups of wolves, Clair decided to check her stats. To her pleasure, she found that the wolves gave her enough EXP for her to level up a few times along with several wolf pelts. useless she thought when she saw the pelts in her inventory although perhaps I could fashion a set of armour to use for now. Because she still had a good portion of her health remaining, Clair continued her leveling with more small groups of the wolves.
((OOC: So uhh, apologies if I've been holding anything up in the RP here the last couple days. My attention has been elsewhere and I just really haven't had the spark. I think I may be able to put out the post I've actually had up waiting to be written in another tab come tomorrow. Maybe... o~o Again, sorry if I've been holding anything up... sad ))

Magnus would keep the berries he had gathered in his inventory. Magnus wasn't known for collecting cooking ingredients, but ever since he started a family, he has been quite the cook. He looked at Dima after tasting one of the green-colored berries then scratched his cheek. "I'll be leader then, but I'll need your help every now and then with administration and all that." Magnus smiled, before noticing the feathers that appeared by her ponytails.
"Those are lovely! Where'd you get those?" he asked, since he didn't see her acquire the feather from a bird.

"But of course, I can't claim more of a vote than anyone else if I don't put in the time," She said. "Administration is easy, I'm more tactical by nature. Hell, I have managed to clear at least one VRMMO solo as an archer, to do that you have to be good at plotting. Problem is in a group setting I'm not the type to be taken seriously as a leader."
Shrugging she listened to his compliment about the equipped feathers, "Useful too, they boost agility some, apparently this game if equipped. Problem is with this type of loot you can find them only like three ways-rob a nest, luck out and find them as a dropped object, or take down a creature that would carry such loot." She pointed up to the sky. "Feathers come from birds, they generally tend to be fairly low leveled, and feathers are useless beyond a small stat boost in agility or to create archer gear. Of course, generally only archers or mages can take down one of them-a rogue if he or she is lucky."
She shrugged, "Archers might not have that great of attack power compared to other classes, but we make up with it with our range and accuracy. Honestly, I think the focus should be right now is both of us should upgrade weapons, but I'll be out of range of most monsters so I don't have use for anything that would increase my defense, as long as I can dodge and increase my range I'm good. I say most of profits should go to you or, hopefully as the guild grows, to others.
Why do you want some feathers too? As long as I hit a bird, even at this level, it generally is a kill. The problem is the fact they are evasive buggers and their range and they give pretty pitiful experience points, which is probably why you didn't notice the kill since experience is split between the group. More or less the birds are only useful for gathering not level grinding and there are way easier things to use to make profits off for in gathering." She ended with a shrug. "I just find it more entertaining to search the skies for gathering than worrying about what is on the ground. Honestly, what your collecting will bring more profits and is more generally useful between classes.
Archers are one of the less popular classes if you think about it. Why be in the background as something flighty like an archer when you can have cool swords, or be a mage, or a mysterious rogue, right?" She ended with a chuckle.
Dryk found himself standing in the middle of a town, surrounded by hundreds of people. Well, he thought to himself the game did just get released.. It was fairly common for a new game to have a large surge of people joining, although this was the first VRMMO-RPG that he was in attendance for the opening. Dryk had never seen so many people logging onto a game at one time before. It was amazing how much of a rush to log onto a new game there was.
Figuring that he should check what starting items an alchemist got here, he opened up his inventory. Dryk found a few potions of various uses: a handful of healing, a few very minor poison vile--not even enough to kill a small bird--and some others which appeared to be viles containing water that could be turned into some sort of potion or elixir later on. Aside from the potions, there were a few recipes for things such as health. The starting items did seem to lack much in the sense of equipment besides a small silver knife and--by far the most important item--a mortar and pastel which could be used to make minor brews and potions. Hmm... it looks like I'll need to do some shopping as soon as I have the money for some equipment
Dryk started to walk to the edge of the city, wondering how on earth he was going to level up with no real offensive skills or weapons. A small knife would only let him fight so many enemies before he was too low on health glad I have that potion.
When he got to the area around the city where players were able to find enemies that they could use to level up fairly quickly. Looking around, he saw that there were already a good amount of people scattered about the area, trying to gain as much experience as they could before others did. Dryk noticed two of the people standing not-too-far away, near a some bushes. He approached the two, a bit nervous. "Excuse me," he said, trying to get their attention "I hate to be a bother, but could I team up with you guys for a bit? My class doesn't exactly get a good set to level up with." Judging by their gear, one of them was an archer and the other was probably some type of fighter or swordsman.
Lisa was heading back to the starter town, she stop to hear those three, she noted a girl looks like an archer, other must be warrior or fighter, and lastly a boy with small knife. She rose her left eyebrow, she shook her head as she silently walk off, better off not to approaching those three. Arriving the town, she return to NPC to get the reward, she's finally level up to 6 from EXP reward and some money. She will save that pelt later, so she take another quest with the reward, Cooking Skills. Her expressionless didn't change, so she accepts it and get ready to get that skill, since she has that talent in real world.

Dima's attention was turned when she heard a nervous voice behind her asking about teaming up with them. She turned, arms crossed and raising a brow. In many ways she was the picture of an individual who didn't play the game to be particularly strong, but more casually, unless one actually made the connection of her to her blogging activities. Glancing at the silver haired kid-well she felt like calling him a kid based on his lack of confidence in approaching her and Magnus- she raised a brow. "So you want to mooch off our profits in experience and loot? Not exactly a good way to get your foot in the door, darling. What's in it for us?"
Pausing she let out a laugh and said twirling a strand of her blonde hair on a finger, "Sorry, I'm kidding. I don't have any say on who is on the team or not. Besides, it's always useful to have someone owe you one later. Never know when you might need to cash in on it. I'm Dima." She added with a smile before glancing to Magnus and said, "Magnus, you're in charge right? It's your say. I'm neutral on this." She glanced back at Dryk and added, "How long is that 'a bit' you plan on teaming up with us for?"
Dryk was a bit taken aback by the assumption that he only wanted to mooch off of them. "Whoa-whoa! Sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that, just that I...uh,,, I need some help early on. If you want, I can get you some potions once I get the right ingredients."
When the girl laughed, he became completely and totally confused at what was going on. Did it meant that she didn't see him as no more than a regular moocher or was she laughing because that was all that she him as? Well, it is good to know that you have favours to cash in later on in the game. This girl is certainly thinking ahead.
When she turned to the other guy and asked what he thought about all of this, Dryk realized that she was most likely just teasing him for the sport of it all. He was not quite certain how to take it that she was neutral on the issue, on one hand, it meant that she wasn't particularly fond of him, nor was she against him tagging along. We'll see where this goes."I just need help getting my feet off the ground, if I'm a bother to you, then I'll leave as soon as I am able to obtain a decent brewing station and a few ingredients."

"Blimey," She said shaking her head as Dryk backpedaled. "Grow a back-bone. If you're scared of me you're in really bad shape already. I'm harmless."
Smiling she circled Dryk, glancing him over and then leaned on his shoulder and said, "You make blowing off the free drinks I could get tonight that much more worth it. You're amusing. Obviously newer to the VRMMO system too. So, you're an alchemist, eh? Well, that's always useful if you chose to go the guild or team route. Anyways, real life is the same as a MMO just less fair, or more accurately MMOs are just like real life but more fair. Not much to figure out, to tell the truth." She ended with a shrug and stretched standing.
It struck her as odd that someone who seemed so new to the scene had managed to get a hold of Cecerich Online, but then again, there would no doubt be some people who just out of sheer curiosity would want to be a part of it, even if they weren't usually big gamers. The game did have a ton of hype that had been building around it for months before its release. Of course, with the sheer number of more experienced players, if he didn't show more confidence he would label himself as easy to take advantage quick which would make the game that much harder for him.
She half felt Magnus and her should offer him a permanent spot on the team just so he wouldn't be eaten alive by more aggressive players who made a habit of using others for their own benefit. Then again, if he didn't have any confidence and kept up that attitude it would make leveling and proceeding through bosses more of a headache. Besides, it wasn't like it was her obligation or anyone else's to watch newer players backs. Glancing back to Magnus she said, "So boss, what is your decision on the matter?"
Magnus would merely watch as Dima and Dryk interacted, observing the newcomer like a hawk stalking it's prey. Though, with a smoldering gaze and a few moments of silence, Magnus looked from Dima to Dryk then gave him a few questions. "So, you need help getting yourself up and running. You immediately assume you are a bother despite everyone being roughly around the same level, and you want to leave once you have a station of income for your own." Magnus crossed his arms and huffed, "Sounds like you got it all figured out, junior." After a bit, Magnus eased up on his gaze and general tone of speaking.
"I've got no problem about you hopping on board with us, but I don't want you stealing our items in our sleep. Or killing us, for that matter." Magnus paused, assuming that Dryk would agree to the terms given to him. Really, if he was honest about needing help getting his momentum going in this game, he'd say yes without hesitation. "Just one last thing," Magnus said, pointing a thumb at Dima, "We'll help you as long as you help us. And if you think she's pretty, then you're golden." Magnus grinned, half-flinching as if expecting Dima to whack him for that statement or something.
