Yakuti had considered her words and her thoughts carefully. What to do? What to say? Yakuti could feel her friend was hurt, but she couldn't feel guilty. No, the one who should be guilty should be Temari. Those were the poor silver femme's thoughts. 'If I am to stay... I will only suffer... but if I stay she will be happy... but I do not want to stay and her sadness makes me guilty... but she... she cares only .... she doesn't care I don't like it.' Yakuti lay down, head in her paws, thinking over her words. Did she really truly want to leave? After she'd been shown a new life? This new life, it wasn't one for her. She couldn't seem to soften up to it, couldn't seem to find a reason to stay. The pups were cute but they were annoying and after being a loner for so long the poor female dog couldn't seem to comprehend the word 'pack' or 'friendship'. Nothing made sense and she was confused, and it was all she could do to keep from running and never looking back. A swelling and unhappy feeling rose in Yuka's chest but she continued to stay silent, especially when the other joined them. Yuka especially didn't like that people that were part of this supposed 'pack' had never introduced themselves to her, and she would never introduce herself to them if she could help it. Making more friends would only make more guilt and guilt was painful and hard to abandon. At this moment, Yakuti wished nothing more then to have never met Temari or Jamaa or Dhati or Makata or anyone else who would cause her such strife. Sure, it was the easy way to deal with life, but after living it her whole life, it was certainly effective.

"Dhati, Jamaa must go soon." he announced more to everyone than just Dhati. "Jamaa have my duties to up hold, please understand. I do not know when Jamaa will return, but Jamaa knows he will." he bowed to the pack. Turned and started off back to his den for how long it was he was leaving for. He nuzzled and licked Temari, tapped Kizaki lightly, and then nuzzled Yakuti.
He walked off back to the Pride Lands back to his family duty.

Temari nuzzled Jamaa back before looking at Yakuti. She stared at the pale female for a long time, thoughts swirling in her golden head. This was unfair.
Well, that's what she settled on at least. That it was unfair and that she should let her do what she wanted. In her heart Temari knew that the way she had gotten Yakuti to stay hadn't been fair to her. Not really anyway. If she was any kind of friend she would understand that.
But she didn't like to think that her best and first friend would be alone and lonely on the savannah. Never to be with anyone ever, never with a pack. No, that didn't make her happy at all. She had to do it though.
"Go ahead. I understand. Honestly, Yakuti, you're my best and first friend. That's why I understand when I see that look on your face that you're miserable. I just don't want you to be sad or anything. I know what sad and lonely feel like, but if this is what will make you happy. Then I understand." Her eyes became sad and she gave out a long sigh.
This was her fault, so she understood if Yakuti would hate her or wish her badly. Truely she did. She didn't like it, but she would accept it in her own way.
Nodding to her friend, she stood lightly on her paws and let out a long yawn. ninja

Yakuti was immobile and emotionless as Jamaa nuzzled her and then left. The poor mist and cloud dog wasn't sure if he had even remembered her but if he was leaving then Temari would be left by herself with this pack. No! Stop! She told herself over and over to stop. She would not be made to feel guilty when her misery was all this golden dog's fault. And yet... this .... this dog... this femme was her best friend. If she could even use those words... Yuka was in such turmoil she didn't know whether to run off or to try to convince herself to stay. She figured she would give herself a little while and see if she really wanted to come back. Her body lifted off the floor and her paws scratched the surface of the dirt covered ground and her eyes swept over it and looked to Temari unhappily. Temari's words hurt and they burned themselves deeply into Yakuti's mind, she tried to speak... tried to say something as she started to pad away. She paused mistep and turned around to look at Temari, and sat across from her. Yakuti was nervous, and it showed as she pressed her ears down, and yet her eyes were level with Temari's (for once in her life). Her voice came out low and mist-like, "I'm not one... for other people on a constant basis... not yet and shoving me into it .... only makes me bored. You said you saw my misery and that you understand, and yet you sound so sad. So do not seem like you wish me to dislike you because you are the one who should dislike me." And with that bold statement hanging Yuka started to walk away. "I'll return someday when I've sorted myself out. Goodbye." She sounded sad, and if one of them would've seen her eyes, they would have seen the tears lining her sapphire dog eyes.
((Forgive me. It's in her character. She may come back, I want her to come back.... but she's so skittish and nervous it's so hard.))

That had rather burned. She didn't dislike Yakuti at all, rather the opposite. She felt like she was losing a sister, that's how much she liked her. She had never said she would hate or dislike her for leaving, where Yakuti had gotten that from Temari certainly didn't know. But as her friend walked away she turned to Cushti and smiled softly. The tears ran down her muzzle and dotted the ground beneath her small paws as she spoke.
"Yeah, I suppose I am." The female's voice never wavered or broke, but she cried all the same. Her teeth ripped into the side of the hair and her chest let out a loud sigh. The meat tasted good since she hadn't eaten in days, her stomach complained at her though.
She had never eaten well when she was upset. So she only ate half of it and then walked over to the wide open space in front of the cave, leaving her pups where she could see them, yet at the same time being alone. She hated being alone, deplored it with a wicked vengence. But for some reason, after losing the two dogs she'd met when her memory first started back up, Temari wanted very much to just... give up.
Jamaa was gone, Yakuti was gone. Both, all. Was this what sadness truely felt like? She wasn't sure if she wanted it. Had it been worth it to make friends? Just to lose them? ninja

Dhati picked up the female pup and carried her to Temari and her pups where he saw the others leaving. "Hey whats going on?" He put the femme down carefully and sat behind her looking at the dissapearing figure of Jaama and then at Yakuti. It was to be expected the pack was never here to tie them down just to be somewhere where they had a family.
He picked up the pup and then tok it over to sit amoungst Temari's pups while he nuzzled her. "We will always be here, me, Mataka and I don't think Cushti is going anywhere either. You aren't bound here, you can go and return and so on. The pups will be safe here if you wish to get away for a little while." He spoke softly so not to upset her further. "Just wait a little, till the pups can walk and communicate and then you can go after them both and spend time with them!" He smiled and nuzzled his daughter. "This is my daughter, the only girl in a litter of six, poor Mataka is resting." He smiled and looked down to the daughter who hadn't moved an inch.

Temari's initial response was to just stare at the little female that he put near her. But she didn't, instead she nuzzled Dhati back and then leaned down and licked the dark brown fur of the only female.
"Two litters of pups and only two females. That has to be a record." She said softly to Dhati before smiling down at female again and pushing her own pups towards her. They were a little bit bigger, with open eyes and ears to the female's tiny size with closed eyes and ears. They dwarfed her really, even from just a few days growth.
"I'm not going anywhere. When I decided to join it was for the good of my family, as well as myself, so I can't just leave now. My pups need a mother. I can still go on runs by myself at night, nothing's stopping me. But I won't leave this pack. I have a job and I intend to do it."
Nodding smartly, she smiled broadly up to Dhati and nodded her head.
Kizaki let out a sharp squack as she was pushed toward the feral smelling female. However, she did take the time to look at her and nuzzle around her, noticing that she smelled the same.
Female.
Well, she wasn't her sibling, but Kizaki decided just then to treat her like it.

((time skip - all pups can walk talk and play!!))
Dhati had been happy knowing that Temari and her pups along with Cushti were staying. They were a small pack, adult wise at least but he was happy adn everything else seemed good aswell. For now though he laid out in the sun, letting its rays heat his body.
The small pup was quite happy bounding around here and there, she was one of two females and it was quite amusing. She loed bounding around her brothers trying to annoy them, she had inherited her mothers views on life, it was all a huge playground and it belonged to her, well her parents and then her eldest brother but ah well! She was happy!

The now much rounder black and white wild dog watched the pups, smiling a bit to herself. An ear flicked as she listened to a hare that she had pinned tell her an interesting story and, bemused by the story when it was done, released it without harm. Oh, how the animal would cherish his life! Rising, the female padded towards the pups, sitting down where she could see them better and where they could gather around her should they wish to. Within her, her unborn pup protested her moving, but she ignroed it. Oh, how fickle it could be like that.

Demani was sniffing around the area he had the ability to move to far that his mother and the other adults would allow but there was so many exciting things out there..why couldn't he move as far as he could? hm maybe it was dangerous after all..
He sneaked up on her sister Kizaki and bite her ear gently and waved his little tail happily...his yellow eyes was always filled with such energy and he enjoyed every second off life
" Hallo sister~~ what are ya doing? "
He blinked and waited curiously for an answer..

Tahupotiki was on an adventure streak. He was only but a few weeks old. But from the time he was born to now he had gained a few 'adventurous' genes, and he planed to live up to them. There was so much to do, and by what Poki felt, he had alot of time to do everything he wanted.
Poki had awoken early that day, before the morning birds started to churp. This was his day, he was going to sneek from the den over the a small field that was only a minute away and see what there was to see. Of course, he didn't get far, as he was still not that brave as to venture off. For now, he was content to sprint off to the field, then rush back. That was an ocomplishment for him. He troted around proudly and found his brother playing with his sister.
Ahhh! This would be fun. Hoping that he had not been seen, Poki crawled over behind his brother, ready to pounce at a moments notice. And he did. He pounced hard onto his brother and made grunting noises as his small mouth wrapped around his brother's neck.
He didn't say anything. he didn't talk yet. It wasn't that he couldn't, he could. But he just... didn't need to yet. Poki continued to knaw on his brother.

Chuckling a bit as she watched them, Cushti rose up and headed for the dens. The pup was stirring just a little too much, and she wondered if it was time. She'd never had experience with birthing herself, which was why worry tugged at her mind.
But her worries were for naught, for within a few hours, a carefully groomed ball of fur huddled between her forepaws. Black and white like her, it had spots of brown here and there. If it had opened its tiny eyes, they would have looked like violet gems. With a happy sigh, the female licked the pup on the head. "My little Veshengo, welcome to the world..."

Twawa was sitting somewhat away from the other pups just watching, she always seemed to watch, never really sociable. She was a strange creature, seriously hyper but yet, at the same time, timid. She was happy though, her deep blue eyes watching the others wandering around. Yeah watching was graet fun!

Temari lifted her head into the air and smelled the smell of birthing. She walked back into the cave and sat near Cushti as she cleaned up the pup.
Had she said Veshengo?
"He's a handsom little boy, Cushti. He'll do you proud." She licked Cushti's ears softly and looked down at Veshengo. She wouldn't dare touch him until she was given permission, but he was a cutie.
Cushti had to be so proud, much like Temari herself had been when her three pups had been born.
Kizaki let out a squeal as her ear was bitten and she thrashed a bit to get her older brother's teeth out of her ear. It hadn't hurt, it was the point. After all, she was the little sister.
"Kizaki is watching the sun, that she is. She wants it to rain, that she does." Kizaki nodded her head happily.
Then she watched as Demani was pounced upon and laughed. That was what he deserved.
Her eyes wandered slowly and she caught sight of another, well the only other, female. Why was she alone? That wasn't right.
So she bopped up to the other female and wagged her tail. This wasn't her sister, wasn't her cousin. Nothing really, just a packmate. But that was enough.
"Hello. Why are you sitting out by yourself?" ninja

The female smiled. "Yes... He is beautiful..." Her tongue swept over his black dominantly black and white coat, tender and loving. "My little man of the forest..."
Who was that? What were they doing?! Veshengo squeeled a bit, eyes squeezed shut. His ears twitched, pinned to his skull still, his tail curled against him. The pup wiggled against the tongue, not finding it pleasant. Oh, when he got older, he would be trouble with baths and staying clean.
