Hayden Belmont Hayden's eyes widened at the voice, then quickly narrowed. His pupils thinned into slits and his fangs stretched out. "What the hell are you doing with my Peter?" he growled, emphasizing the possessive adjective. "He wouldn't run to you. I swear to God if you kidnapped him...!"

"Calm down, boy. I'm going to pick him up. He called me." He cleared his throat, the car he was in audibly slowing as he stopped to wait for Peter to approach his car. "He's come crawling back to me, Mr. Belmont, and you sent him back to me without even trying. I thank you." He hung up, just in time for Peter to be heard thanking Aldrich for coming to get him.

Hayden Belmont "What?" Hayden felt his breath leave him when he heard Peter's voice on the other line. He really went to Aldrich? He went to that scumbag even though he had no idea what the real reason for what Hayden did was? And he was the one yelling at him about love?! The incubus grit his teeth as the phone locked. His grip tightened, but it took a great deal for him to not crush it. He would just go to Aldrich that easily... Eyes flaring furiously, the hybrid yelled a, "DAMMIT!!!" and moved to throw his phone at the wall, but stopped. He no doubt put a hole in it with his strength. Even though it disgusted him to the core to know that he could be thrown aside that easily, that Peter's method of cooling off was humping some jealous b-stard, he couldn't bear breaking his place apart and upsetting him. Knowing this just made him angrier. Dropping the phone unceremoniously, Hayden thumped his forehead against the wall and closed his eyes.

Hayden Belmont "Peteeeeer!" whined Hayden from the couch. "Oi, what's taking so long? Get off the phone, it's dinner time!" he griped. By dinner, he meant his own kind of dinner. He was starving! Peter absolutely had to go visit his family during Thanksgiving and couldn't give him a feast of his own!

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way "You're going to have to wait," said Peter after hanging up the phone, walking over to clean up the living room a little. "A friend of mine is coming over. He's a former client, so be kind to him. I don't think he knows I'm retired yet, but the poor thing needs some comfort, so I'm gonna have a talk with him before sending him off to a former colleague. Think you can behave long enough not to scare him?" He asked, pushing Hayden's feet off of the coffee table and gathering up the various magazines left lying about. And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Hayden huffed, feeling his fangs prod at his lips. Over the time he had gotten used to meeting Peter's former clients so that he could tell them he's done. There were plenty of times when he was one his way here that he would bump into one of those clients. After frightening the first ten away, Peter tamed him enough to tolerate the rest. Still, he had no idea just how many people paid for Peter!
About ten minutes knocked before there was a knock at the door. Cecil stood out of the room nervously. A dorm room of all places. Fortunately he would look like a student to people nearby... unless he arrested them before. If that was the case then him being seen going into a student's dorm would badly ruin his reputation, which was already in a bad state thanks to the trial. Still, he was willing to risk it if it meant being with Peter. He always knew how to treat him right, and he felt amazing. Cecil Tealy

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Peter opened the door seconds after it was knocked on, his hair tied back and a smile on his beautiful face. "Cecil!" As always, he was happy to see his favorite police officer (and a good amount of the policemen on the city's force rather enjoyed their visits to Peter). Welcoming him inside, Peter gestured to the couch for the man to seat himself, locking the door twice behind him like he always did. Bad habits were hard to crack. "Now then, why don't you tell me what's on your mind that's so bad, you had to come see me right away?" he asked, sitting close to the blonde and taking his hand. And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Cecil followed Peter in, still blushing from the smile. He noticed the other man in the room give him an odd look, but he didn't pay too much attention to him. Must've been another client or something. When he sat down, he looked at their joined hands. "I was having dinner with a friend," he started then shook his friend. "No, not friend. He thinks we're friends but... Jesus, I think I want more than that. I was drunk and kissed him and he's a really good kisser, but I didn't want to try and go any further. I stopped, but I'm not satisfied, you know?" Hayden stared hard at the kid. Was that a freshman? Jeez, eager to be a man, huh? No, wait. He recognized that face. That was... Wasn't that Freddy and Cammy's boss?! Cecil Tealy

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Peter chuckled, shaking his head. "Cecil, honey, if he kissed you back, I'd say there's a good chance that he feels attracted to you as well. I mean, most people don't kiss back unless there's some level of magnetism between them, isn't that right, Hayden?" He turned to his lover, waiting for a response for about two seconds before looking back to Cecil and continuing. "Look, there's nothing wrong with taking a leap of faith and putting yourself out there, especially for someone you feel a spark with. if you never try, then you'll live the rest of your life wondering what could have happened. Trust me, Cecil, I'm usually right about these kinds of things." He reached his free hand upwards, moving Cecil's hair from his forehead and leaning in to kiss it, then pulling away. "I know it wasn't satisfying, but that's the best I can do for now. I'm retired, unfortunately, although I am tempted to make an exception for you, since you've always been my favorite. But Hayden would probably castrate me before anything fun could happen, wouldn't you, Hayden?" he asked. And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont With an unconvinced frown, Cecil gave a short shake of the head. "Or drunk." he said then looked up again. "We were drinking a lot. Besides, he kept going on about being lonely. Maybe he was just desperate." Hayden was texting Freddy and Cameron about this amazing scenario when he realized Peter was addressing him. "Huh? Oh, yeah." he said, disinterest. Cecil sagged a little when Hayden gave him cliche advice. He did, however, perk up when he heard the new news. "Oh, I didn't know that!" He looked at Hayden then back at Peter with a smile. "You found someone, huh?" he asked with a light laugh. The incubus was still too busy texting to verbally reply. He blinked when he got a message back and tilted his head back to laugh. Cecil Tealy

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Rolling his eyes at Hayden's indifference, Peter nodded and chuckled. "Unfortunately, yes. Even the greatest of the professionals get caught in their own traps from time to time. It's not easy, being retired after such a career of mine, but if it makes him less jealous, then I have to be courteous. Even if he is a great brute most of the time." Shaking his head, Peter pulled his phone out and pulled up a few numbers. "Now then, I know I can't give you what you need, so these are a few friends of mine that are in the business and just as good as I am. They're completely trustworthy, I promise. I'm going to call in a few favors, get you a night so you don't have to think too much about your new crush. How does that sound?" And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Cecil blushed at the reality drop and nodded shyly. "Y-Yeah, thanks." he said then looked up at Peter. "I, uh, won't know who to go to with you out of business." he attempted to laugh. "H-How many people have you had to explain this to?" Cecil Tealy

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Setting to work writing down a few of the numbers, Peter froze at the question, then returned to his task. "I find, dear Cecil, that that particular question is one I don't like to answer," he said quietly, remaining silent until he finished the list. "Here, let me know which one you choose and if they work out for you. Worst comes to worst, Hayden pays so little attention to me that I'm sure he wouldn't notice if I spent a few hours hiding out in a hotel room with you. Now then, why don't you tell me a little more about this man of yours? What's his name?" And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont The officer blinked at the avoided answer. It made sense, now that he thought about it and glanced at the person who seemed to make Peter smitten. Cecil looked back just as the list was finished and looked at the numbers. It was like the first time he had tried this. He gave each number and name a look at before looking back at Peter. "Sawyer." he answered while looking away nervously. "He's a lawyer that came by recently to help with the precinct. He was the one that got me that not guilty verdict from that court case. B-But he's got a son, and he seems like the type to be more for women than men." he explained while rubbing the back of his head. Cecil Tealy

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way "Don't say that. If there's anything I've learned of actual importance in my line of work, Cecil, it's to never assume." Peter reached up to adjust his leather hair tie, taking his hair down and putting it back up a bit neater than before. "Besides, someone that barely knows you working that hard to protect you? He can't just be that generous. Did he even bill you?" He didn't wait for an answer, his hand moving to touch Cecil's shoulder. "And if he doesn't want you, then he clearly has no taste and you're better off. Got it?" And stay away from my paintings
