Allemand couldn't preserve the dagger in his care. He was wounded, groggy, and restless. The man pulled back his unkempt tuft of brown hair and raised an eyebrow while the girl propped a bullet up from her skin then sent it pouncing onto the grainy coast. "Arrogant," he mumbled under his breath. "We're going now." Allemand restrained Thea in a grasp by holding a fist full of what was left from her shirt and dabbed the dagger back, sheathing it. Even though he winced at the undying pain, he needed to get her back to Thol Maldir. His decision was still solid. "Drexel's gonna hate you," he exclaimed trumping through the sand with her in hand.

Drexel's mouth had been whirring the day he'd sent him to catch Thea, mumbling under his breath, and looking to Allemand with a grievous sentiment. Allemand computed the man's actions and felt a bond of mutual distrust form at that moment. Could he trust his close adviser anymore? It pounded the thick structure of his skull. He felt isolated, secluded, and most of all betrayed. Even if it wasn't true, they'd told each other of everything. Whatever it was he would have to deal with it for now.

Allemand conjured a sigh with a glance to the ocean, whipping waves, a gust of wind, and his feet coated with grain conducted him into a chill. "Fine," Allemand twisted the girl's hand away from his and took a step back out of the whisking sun. He projected a quirky grin then swatted it away when the sun fell back to a stationary position on the horizon, slowly rising. "Iboren," he remarked. "I use to live here." Gravelock bay was his true home, confined in a resonating cave and colliding rustic structures of what seemed to be crude houses stacked between prowling walkways aloft. His home that was easily slapped together with splintered and half charred wood had been refurbished since last he'd seen it. A light blue transparent lantern hung swaying outside of the sanctuary as he and Thea entered. "These people are rugged. Do not tempt them." He would've advised her of the smugglers, criminals, and other entities that roamed this crude hollow home but she wouldn't have come in if he did.

Allemand clapped his hands together while peering into the cave where a brute stood. The man was sitting on cargo with a withered brown coat that led up to his unshaven folds of his face and a monkey balled up around his unkempt black hair. There were all types of people here. When he used to live here he just kept to himself, no one asked each other of their pasts and he liked it that way. He gave a slight chuckle then stepped up the rickety steps of the dock. A frigate with slung ropes was pulling in to harbor. It was a magnificent ship with a black sail and a luminous aroma that probably kept the crew moving through the night. The front of the ship was embroidered with a fox's head and the flank led back to the captain's study. It was bolting with light as someone exited and yelled a resonating command to the crew, probably the captain himself, and stepped down to the wooden dock where Allemand was. The way to Thol Maldir was rough, and they were too far from it. That ship could gain easy access to it, that is if he stole it. A stream of the crew baffled at one of their fellow men dropping a box were filtering off of the ship with their own in hand. "Alright, Bertha is going to kick my arse if we don't have these there by sundown!" The captain yelled this with a blank expression as if he'd remembered a past event and was sent into a trance by it, or the fact his ship had been plummeted by a few cannon balls. The captain turned and gazed through them, like he was trying to repair it with his mind. Allemand felt as if he'd been prompted at that moment and didn't hesitate. "I can fix those for you!"

Allemand knew this was the only way to gain passage without garnering a new gash to the side of his forehead. Sucking up to the captain's needs would suffice for now. He gave a stern look to Thea who obliterated his plan but it softened when she came to an agreement. "What?" The captain was startled and sent stumbling back on his own feet, Allemand caught him. He stiffened his grasp and stood the man sturdy, he corrected himself then put a hand on Allemand's shoulder. "Greetings, friend, and thank you. My name's Frowyk Barloy," he bellowed. He exiled some snot from his hand then swept it down his leg, holding out a hand. Allemand hesitated before grabbing Frowyk's hand and shaking it. Barloy had a strict line that led up and down his eye, rendered as a scar, and brown hair plummeting down the side of his firm black tricorn hat triumphed with a white feather. A solid belly pushed out from his coat accompanied by a bottle of rum in his side pocket that sloshed when he walked, a heavy drinker. "Allemand," he replied reluctantly. Frowyk popped out a cigar and sent a stream of smoke toward his ship then turned to his audience with a jolly trump. "Well, if you know how to fix it then I don't see why I shouldn't let you hunker down with us. I think I could take my liking to that one over there. You are with her aren't you?" Allemand felt a nudge gut him followed by Frowyk's resonating laugh. Allemand decided at that moment he didn't like him. "I can fix it for you but you don't touch her." Frowyk didn't look like he'd like that idea but they came to a mutual agreement then Allemand went over to Thea. "Lie about your name. They'll know who you are if you don't." He paused for a second while gazing into her eye's. "And stay away from that guy, his name is Frowyk."

"These men care nothing of your past. However, they do care about your frame." Allemand gave a short glance. "You need a new outfit. Frowyk told me that his men would take awhile to carry the boxes so we can make our way over to that store." He pointed over to a cluster of stores jumbled up on the dock.

Allemand caught the bag, a clanking coin or two rolled to his pleasure and cued an old man sitting on a barrel to get up. He replied with a grave look and the old man settled for his current position. After that, he gave a slight nod and trumped off with Thea.

"You know, maybe we should speak like them. Acting should do?" Allemand opened up for the first time, making a goofy face. A picturesque expression curdled across his grimy frame.
