 She snarled "DON'T insult me by comparing me to your kindred. Most of you seem to be bullies, thieves, and kidnappers. I may be protective of those I care for but I'm no bully." as she'st trying, but failing, to grab Dylara before she escapes.
She stomps her feet in rage and BUZZES into the air. A thought occurs to her, maybe she could follow them and see what they're up to, spoiling this day that was SUPPOSED to be a wonderful party! The wing ripping free did cause him to slam back down on all fours, hard. It was enough to jar the poor Baron, and he wasn't able, for a moment, to do anything, giving the two Wraik females a chance to get out of his range, and to escape.
He didn't even begin to realize what Lil'Cat was doing, as he was busy shaking his head to clear it. "Oooo dose Wraik, ALWAYS trouble, d'em."

 The sight of a wraik made Morty hiss under his breath. He was taller and bulkier than the shark that had shown up, but a bad feeling still lingered in his mouth. "Please step aside, we are trying to get somewhere." He said as calmly as he could. While he was tempted to bo along with Impetua's sass, he did not want to risk bringing harm to the group. They did outnumber this wraik, but who knew what lay in the shadows.
Evil eggs lay on the ground before them, a path was made by them. "Yes, Leilani's right. It seems dangerous to touch them. But the path seems to be leading us in the right direction. Hopefully it's not a trap." He said, trying to make his way past the shark Wraik who had appeared before them.

 Thalassa watched the Wraiks disengage and band together away from the fight. She sighed in relief, but looked towards her sister, who was clearly agitated. There was no telling what she'd do next. "Catcat, please, come help me, let them go, okay?" Dylara watched Abeytu move in to forcefully remove Venetia from the fray with the elder and the traitorous wraik. She smirked at Catcat's indignant feelings towards her comment. "Funny, I knew many Winiko like that during the war," she retorts, before loping off to join the other wraik as they regrouped. Still, she had seen the little green thing buzzing in the air angrily. "I believe we should poof away to the rest of our kind, lest we are followed... that flying menace could follow us otherwise, with her speed...."  Tiburon was amused by the black Winiko's rather polite line of questioning. It surely wasn't what he expected once he'd been spotted. Keeping his air of laid back indifference he gives an idle shrug as he glances to the others coming up with her. "Can't say I have, little lady. Been hangin' out here enjoyin' the scenery and the lovely weather...maybe yer friends went another way, yeah?" A moment later the crackling sound alights the air and a dark mist started crawling around nearby. Tiburon pauses and looks around. "Well that's a shame, looks like the weather's taken a turn for the worse...." As Morty moves to pass him, he doesn't make a move to attack, but merely moves to block his path. "Maybe y'all should go back the way you came, eh? Seems to be dangerous up ahead." A lazy toothy grin widens across his face.

 Raik spat out the large clump of ruff that had ripped free when the inky Wraik kicked him off irritably. She'd left him a pretty good gouge on his stomach, but not too bad. ("Bad" being "Oh God, my intestines are hanging out!") Raik fancied himself a badass, and anything short of "bad" wasn't important enough for him to bother with. He shrugged it off.
He hobbled over to Thalassa. She seemed in pretty bad shape. "You okay?" he asked worriedly. "Anything I can do to help?"
His head jerked up abruptly as a thought occurred to him. "An' who're you two?" he demanded. He suddenly imagined Impetua cuffing him on the shoulder and remembered those "manners" things he was supposed to mind. "Oh.... and, err.... thanks for helping us." he added sheepishly. "My name's Raik. And this is Thalassa. We're looking for the Easter Meiko."
The tussle hadn't left them too far in the forest. Raik could faintly see the clearing still. He wondered if Imp had found anything. Maybe after taking care of Thalassa, he'd go back and find out what she'd found. They had to find that bunny! Impetua's ear twitched imperceptibly. Crap. He WAS going to be troublesome. She sometimes hated being right. "Oh, well, if you haven't seen a group of Wraik with a white Meiko, then we'll be on our way. Thank you for your time," she said politely.
Morty made a move to get past the blue Wraik, but the Wraik blocked the elder Wini. Imp's eye twitched ever so slightly. She moved to the other side of the path that wasn't being blocked and started trying to go past the Wraik. Politely, of course. Being polite was usually a good way to go about things, even if you WERE starting to get annoyed. Very, very annoyed. Imp could just hear Raik's whining already. She suppressed a shudder. He would be IMPOSSIBLE to live with if she didn't get the Meiko to give him candy.
"We can handle ourselves," she told the Wraik. "Though I appreciate your concern for our safety."

 Lilliana smiled at the others then looked around for her son. She had to help him get un stuck and once she did she caught up with the rest of the group they had been traveling with and listened to what they were saying. She walked over to stand with those she had been traveling with and saw the creepy dark looking easter eggs. She wasn't such a big fan of these but they needed to help find the easter meiko. She looked at the dark mist and stared at the others there. Takuto smiled at Koko and looked at the pretty egg. He didn't hear anything but just smiled. "No I don't. It must be something special just for you Koko." He got his foot caught and fell behind the group. With his mother's help he go unstuck and ran off to catch up with Koko. He smiled at the guy and looked at the others that were there. All the dark eggs were making him uncomfortable. he longed for the pretty eggs that had been there before. The ones they had been following.((OOC: Sorry I disappeared I was out of town and didn't have the computer and then the plane got us home last night so late.))

 One wing was tucked close to her back as they blazed through the undergrowth, the other hung limply, ragged and dripping blood behind her. Venetia hated the thought of leaving a trail, but there was no time at the moment to stop. They wouldn't need to trail them if they could still see them anyway. They needed some distance first, then they'd shake them off the path.
Accursed Elder! They could have handled the little Winiko and that ignorant boy, but the massive dark one had been a bit too much brute strength to handle head on. Venetia didn't like fighting face-to-face anyway...she much preferred a quick strike from the back. She was fine with never seeing her foe's face...
 Abeytu glanced over her shoulder as they ran, looking for signs of pursuit. None yet. Perhaps they'd done enough damage to give the Winiko reason to think. At least they'd bought some more time for their kin. She'd amassed a collection of scratches on her head and face from the little green pest that still burned, but not as much as the slow frustration inside her.
Glancing back once more, then forward towards the shadowy Vee and their new friend who had to be nearby somewhere, she commented dryly, I think we gave them the slip. Or they let us go to tend their wounded at least."

Cataya was torn between her sister's request, and her internal need to go AFTER those menaces! What if they'd done something worse? She had no clue about the Easter Meiko, yet, but they'd done enough today that she was worried. She buzzed after the Wraik for a moment, then her need to help her sister won.
She flew straight back, to Thala's side, and lands next to her. "What can I do? I don't know much about healing, or anything..." Her red eyes studied her sister's wounds, worriedly. She glanced back at Raik and arched a brow. "As you might have noticed from my angry yelling, Thalassa's my sister... I do know her pretty well. I'm Cataya." The mini was protective about her sister. She didn't trust this wraik. What if he was pretending? She couldn't help it, after that battle. "And what's this about looking for the Easter Meiko?"Baron Samedi strode over to Thalassa, Lil'Cat and Raik. He frowned as he listened to the discussion. "Yeh, what you sayin' dere? D'at lil Meiko, som'ting happened?" He paused, then added "I be Baron Samedi, and I done live wit' Lil'Cat dere." He looked Thalassa over, and pondered her for a long moment.
"Ya want I should carry ya, Thalassa? Any friend o' Lil'Cat be a friend o' mine too. Even more so de family. Ya seem to be havin' da trouble standin' up, dere." He figured he could handle it, he was big enough and could take her somewhere that she could get help.

Thalassa watched as the brown Wraik came over to her again -- she was rather annoyed to be injured and looking weak at the moment after being so brazen earlier. "I'm fine," she manages to say, not wanting to really admit otherwise. She was relieved when Catcat came back instead of recklessly chasing the Wraik and looked to her with a smile. "I'm just glad you stayed here instead of chasing them, that makes me feel better. You wouldn't have done any good against all 3 of them, and what if they end up regrouping with even more Wraik?" She realized now, that they were a lot more dangerous than she'd given them credit for. Maybe she should have stuck with the others after all. "I don't know much about this Meiko, honestly, I showed up just as he disappeared with the Wraik who trashed the picnic." At the Baron's words, she nodded. "A ride would be very helpful, I'd...like to help in the search, though...I feel bad for abandoning the group to chase Wraiks..." It took a LOT for her to admit something like that, as gung ho as she usually was. Dylara kept up with the other two Wraik easily in their retreat, despite the massive headache she still had from getting conked by the cane. She was just as annoyed by that stupid Elder as Venetia was, and tried to calm her fuming down as they gained distance. She heard Abeytu and neared her as she replied "Yes, I don't see any pursuit. We should be fine to slow down and move more stealthily now. Perhaps we should meet up with the others who were behind this attack; I can sense them and dark magic nearby."(gonna wait on Tibby for a few more replies -- if ze Wraik girls wanna show up by him, I'm sure he'd be happy for some backup himself, even as calm as he's acting. XD)

 The mist and the effect of the dark egg had frazzled Leilani for just a moment longer, the whole situation felt... wrong, she felt glad to see Lilliana and Takuto catch up to the group. The more wini members their group had the better their chance of helping the Meiko would be.
As she returned her attention to Impetua and Morty as they started moving she quickly caught on to the tactic, the Wraik couldn't block everyone's path at the same time on his own. Leilani took a deep breath and started moving forward as well, towards the side of the wraik that Impetua had chosen to pass. "Yes thank you very friendly of you to warn us, we just want to go and make sure our friend didn't get ....... lost ....... in that direction" she told the wraik trying to use her most casual voice.
She looked back for a moment at the rest of the group, hoping they would catch on and would also approach the wraik al at once so he wouldn't stand a chance in stopping them.

Lilliana grinned at Leilani as the winiko looked at her and her son. The other girl seemed to be relieved to see them. Lilliana really didn't like the feel of these dark eggs or the mist and she looked at the wraiks that blocked their path. She stood with the others and watched what was going on. She definitely wanted to help get the meiko back and she was going to help. She caught on to what was going on and nudged Takuto to keep moving and follow her lead. "Yes thank you for the warning it is very kind of you." She spoke in a sweet tone as she kept on walking.
No way that the wraik could keep them all out and she walked calmly and followed Leilani. She had seen the girl look back at the rest of the group and yes she understood. Takuto looked around at the others and felt his mother nudge him. He shifted his weight a bit but then ran after her to keep up. He didn't want to get left behind and walked to where the others were going. He wasn't sure what was going on but hoped this was a good idea. But this place felt wrong and he didn't like it.

"Let's find you one then!" Koko announced to his new friend. The mini trotted happily behind the group until he noticed his friend was gone. He peered around to see Takuto catch up with the group. "Are you okay?" Koko asked with concern in his voice. He felt like a bad friend for not noticing sooner. At the sight of the Wraiks before their group, he let out a low hiss, almost dropping his striped egg amongst the evil, rotten ones. "I'll protect you, Takuto!" He declared even though he was nearly two-thirds the size of the wraiks.
The brightly marked wraik was getting bored of watching the group of winiko try to waltz right into their territory. She leapt down from the tree branch which she napped on and stood in front of the black, cat-like winiko and her Hawaiian looking friend. "And where do you think you're going?" She flipped her hair out of her eyes with a smooth motion of her head. This group might have thought that being polite would let them get their way, but sadly, they were mistaken. Cheska wasn't going to let anyone get in their way without putting up a fight first. "If your friend did get lost, they'll be safe with us." Cheska replied to the blue coloured female. "Don't you worry your pretty little head."

Takuto smiled at Koko that was so sweet of him. When he caught up to Koko he smiled at the guy. He was surprised that the guy was worried but also relieved that was so kind of the little guy. "Yeah I'm ok my foot just got stuck and it took a while to get it out. Sorry for making to worry." He didn't want to make his new friend so worried. He heard the guy hiss and saw him almost drop the pretty egg. He smiled as the guy said he would protect him. It was so kind even if the guy was so small it was still very nice. "Lets work together and have each other's backs that way we both stay safe." He didn't want Koko getting hurt.

Morty tried to use his size to intimidate the wraik. He stood his full height and puffed out his chest a little, but not too much, it made him light headed to hold his breath for that long. "This is the way we must go. Please step aside" Morty moved a paw to try push Tiburon to the side and widen the path until another wraik appeared. 'just great... This is just what we needed' His thoughts were sarcastic and frankly, starting to get annoyed at how long this rescue mission was taking them. But he kept his cool and placed one paw on the male wraik, pushing slightly to try make a path now that the other half was occupied by the female wraik.

Tiburon was quickly getting outnumbered and even though his detached air of calm remained on his features, he was getting nervous inside. He didn't want to let them by, but he knew he'd be no match against the elder, never mind all the rest, who would undoubtedly help. He pondered letting them go only to follow along as they went, until he met reinforcements... but as the elder moved to try and push him, there was a split second where his facade was downright dangerous before the calm took back over again. "You don't wanna do that, pops," he tells him in an almost dangerously low voice, his shark tail swishing to the side. At the corner of his vision, he spots a new player drop down from the trees, and hearing her words, he smirks, realizing she was on his side. He spares a glance and he can't help but let out an 'mmm mmm mmm' at seeing the sexy colorful gal. "Hey doll," he practically purrs at her, "We gonna do somethin' bout these guys or what?"
