“Hmm. I wonder…” The musings were quiet and to herself. This was more challenging than she had thought it would be. But she’d be okay. She just had to make the disguise work. She could do that.

Grabbing the beret, she dropped it back into the pile. Picking up a fez, she examined it. A little more beat up than the beret. But fez hats were kind of cool; she’d always thought they were neat. It reminded her of those parades she’d seen when she was younger.

This was not a time to be reminiscing. Nope. Scolding herself, she put that fez on her head.

Hrm. Still not quite right.

But she really wished it would work. It fit her so well! She even bet it looked really good without the mask.

Too bad she needed the mask.

Inside out beret was no good.

What if she put the beret ON the fez? Maybe that would work?

Picking up the fez, she gave a shot. It was like, a hat tower.

Nope. Nope. No good. It was really a terrible idea.

She was stubborn. So very stubborn, sometimes about silly things. But hat choice was not a larger life choice and...stuff. Maybe she should just give up on the beret and put both it and the fez back.

Another hat might do. Like one that seemed to resemble a bag of snakes. Yes. Perfect with her creepy mask and leather cape. Perfect.

It was indeed perfect. She didn't think the creepy factor had much effect, but the prisoners had no problem letting a leather wearing cthulhu with a bag of snakes for hair leave. It was okay. She wouldn't want to let her stay either. Which was how she'd known the disguise was perfect.

SUCCESS

The second headgear he put on was...also relatively strange to match with the mask he had chosen - a bag of snakes. Certainly not.

The headgear was discarded once more.

Regret.

He wasn't even sure how he'd managed to stumble down here, but now he was caught and JK had no idea how to free himself.

Right now, he was keeping the prisoners entertained with his ability to turn invisible. The card was surprisingly useful as a distraction. He'd turn invisible, creep off behind one of them, and then pop back into visibility, scaring the one, but causing the rest of them to go into gales of laughter.

Easy audience.

JK spotted something off in one corner. A box? He used the invisibility card to get to it. The prisoners blocked the exit, but they weren't guarding this.

When he opened it up, JK thought that they probably should start. He might be able to construct a convincing disguise with these and escape! He rifled through the available items.

A Jack Skellington mask? JK was oddly comforted to see even this strange reminder of home. He pulled it on. The tiara and trash bag cape were a definite no-go, though.

"Come on, come one, there must be something." JK muttered to himself, the words muffled by the mask.

A fez? JK regarded the peculiar hat, and then placed it atop the smooth mask. It would do.
