Over the course of running, it seems he got a little careless and was swatted across the forest before hitting a tree. Mitfael was stunned for a moment before started running again. Ow, that really hurt.

Running as fast as his legs could carry him, he still heard the stomps of it RIGHT BEHIND HIM. Oh god please go after someone else... Of course though it didn't, and took a NICE n** out of his tails as he yelped and somehow kicked it into high gear. OOC

Mitfael was sure he got eaten, but apparently not because he was still alive. It took a second before he remember this was no timed to think about how, so he kept on running. It was probably from the thing he got while running through the path he took a while back.

"Come back." A familiar voice replaced the closeness of the creature, a voice that almost caused him to turn around. "Yes...come help us." A second voice appeared, whispering more urgently through his mind. "Ah..no...its got us." The voice, followed by a scream, was almost enough to make him turn. Feeling a quiet rage building up, Shadowstep managed to evade the jabberwock completely after many attempts. He was always told that the best way to get to someone was to use those they cared for most. Times like this made him feel utterly weak. He hated that. With the creature gone, he stormed away. He'd get his revenge. Sometime before figuring out what the hell was up with this dream. One thought crossed catinthehat's mind as the large beast came barrelling towards him.
Jack be damned, not the clothes!! And with that he went scrambling for his life.
Something long and sharp pierced his neck. Pain blossomed. Disoriented, the cat tumbled forward, irritated by the incessant beeping. Even worse, that thing had nearly gobbled him up in one bite! Time to make like a cat, and-
