Shadowstep closed his good eye as he continued on. He tried his best to not make any turns. It seemed to work out. Once he had opened his eye again, he came upon the final sign. WIth a shake of his head, he finally left. [ Enter ]Woods after woods after woods, the forest seemed like an endless stretch and the signs that ought to guide the way were decidedly mischievous, whether or not they pointed you in the right direction entirely at their discretion. bigbadwolf sniffed, thinking his nose might have been of more use but the truth was he didn't know what the exit smelled like, and even if he did the smells here were all entirely strange, and he could make neither heads nor tails of them. All he could do was follow the signs. OOC

[ There ]He nearly stumbled onto the second sign, the word upon its wood about as helpful as the first. It was, however, his only clue in a sea of everything that looked similar so even though he was fairly certain it was leading him in circles, he headed in the direction it pointed. OOC

[ Up Anywhere ]He didn't know how he was supposed to go up so he went forward, but it seemed that forward was backward as before he knew it he'd ended up at 'Here' again and without a clue as to how he'd gotten here or there or up anywhere in the first place. He enjoyed walking just as much as any other canine, but this was getting a bit absurd. OOC

They had just entered into another amazing place. However, this one seems to be of only trees and signs...at least they don't talk...They think at least.

After the unexpectedly and emotionally grueling challenge of the Lake sidequest, Ace had no idea what to expect from the game anymore. There was the option to pursue some other easy sidequests, but she wasn't in the mood for internal reflection anymore. She was hoping for something where she could battle -- nothing would release her frustration more than beating on something, she bet -- and so it was that she chose the sidequest labelled "DIFFICULT". "A maze?" She mused aloud, shifting her weight impatiently from one foot to the other. "I know how these things end up. There's going to be some giant beast in the center." Or maybe, given that it was Wonderland, it was going to be a cake? Cakes could be beaten too. She immediately set out in the direction the ' Here' sign indicated, reached ' There', picked another direction without thinking about it, and promptly reached... ' There' again. "Huh? What gives?" DEDfeesh let out a silent wail, and felt like sobbing but kept on trying. However, sniffles could be heard, caused by frustration.

[ Here ]He’d been here before, and he’d been there before but he couldn’t figure out for the life of him how he was supposed to get from ‘There’ to ‘Up Anywhere’. Up was about the only direction he could safely ascertain but it only led to branches and sky and not at all signs. It gave him idea though; he could probably get a better vantage point from somewhere high. It was an idea perhaps not well fleshed out, as the moment he tried to climb on of the gnarled limbs, the tree promptly deposited him back on the ground with a thwack. On foot it was then. OOC

...DEDfeesh seems to be walking in circles and not realizing that at all. They let out a lout whine before giving up and lies on the ground...they have become a cat and has given up on life.
