The brown haired male kept running that way, he had already took off. Which, he had did a few seconds before Leo and Mika said anything. He turned his head saying,"Come on!" He popped his knuckles as he turned a corner trying to get to the two blips.

Tatsuya swallowed as he nodded to her saying packs. This was bad. It was worse than bad. It was a small box that was shutting them in and compressing them into nothing more than dust. "Oh, f" Tatsuya said tho it was cut off when he pulled the trigger on the pistol. Eating up two shots to fire the projectile it sailed through the air towards the shelving. It hit low and with a burst of green energy damaged the shelf and caused it to tip over into the hallway. The second he pulled the trigger he flicked it to the other shelf and did the same. In moments both of them were piled in the middle of the hall. It would offer maybe a moment or two of extra time. His feet had already started to push him forward to the door when he fired. As he ran he could hear the rippers moving and he shouldered the door open when he got there. He fired another shot at the one that was behind them now and it struck it in the head with the same burst of energy. He only hoped that he slowed them down enough that both him and Skye could get into the room and away from them. All this confined space wasn't good for his preferred style of combat.

The muffled speech of Mika shifted Leo’s world, he had to go back for her. Leo thought the girl could fend for herself but maybe she had just been startled by something. Once again he took a long stride, passing the duo of packaged boxes, the girl was revealed in a confined space. “Mika,” he called as the unidentified entities surrounded her. Leo came forward and slashed at the leg, it practically deflected causing no harm to the monster, his heart pounded.

Mika drew her gun and started shooting at the monsters she saw closing in. She hit one in the face, snapping it's head back and breaking the spine. It was a very lucky shot at the monster fell, dead. "Go for the head or neck," she shouted, quickly realizing what had happened.


The entire time Skye had stuck close to his side. She scampered into the room once he got the door open and froze as she came face to horrible face with a very large ripper, the pack leader. She screamed as claws lashed out almost lazily towards her.

Tatsuya snapped his head back towards her and the new room as she screamed. The oversize ripper was a horrific sight to behold. Even more when the claws were moving slowly to slash at Skye. Turning quickly he swung with his outstretched arm and hit her in the shoulder knocking her to the side towards a desk and some rubble. Tucked just out of his eye sight, on the floor near where she landed was a small pistol. He had struck her with his left hand due to the way he stood so he was able to pull up his pistol in his right after shoving her aside. Firing one shot it struck the collarbone of the beast causing some damage to the tough skin and allowing for an easier follow up shot. Not even one second after the shot the claws sunk into his arm and cut deep. Getting knocked off balance and cringing in pain he dropped his pistol and fell to the floor off to the side. Blood oozing from his arm that he held close to his chest, his plasma pistol laid out of reach on some rubble.

(Btw some cussing is allowed but nothing seriously bad and not too much of it.)

Mika dashed after Leo. "What the hell are these things," she shouted. They're tough and ugly as the bunker leader. No, they're uglier than him."


Instead of freezing up and watching him get killed Skye moved and grabbed the gun. She didn't think or even pause to be afraid as she fired the gun until it clicked empty. Her shots had hit the ripper in the neck and face, one going through its eye. The thing had slumped to the floor, dead. However there wasn't time to collapse in relief. She heard the howls of anguish from the four outside the door as she quickly moved to Tatsuya's side. "Let me see your arm," she said calmly. She didn't say a word about the dead ripper or her shooting.

Tatsuya had briefly watched her fire at the beast. Once she emptied the clip he watched it slump to the floor only a short distance away from him. It smelled foul and it wasn't a sight that he enjoyed looking at. Wincing a little in pain he clutched his arm tighter. Grumbling to himself he held out his arm for her to look at. He was reluctant and the slash still hurt and was oozing a small amount of blood. Skye was the medic, so she would know the best as to how to treat his arm.
