Matt smiled and would love it if Jayden stopped by the restaurant. "We work at Linguini's. It is that real nice italian place." he said with a smile and was a proud worker there. His boss made it made it fun and his brother made it better. Kain nodded to the girl when she asked if he was Matt's brother. Not only did they look alike but they kinda sounded a like if that was possible. "It is a pleasure to meet you Jay." he said and would not mind treating Jay for a nice lunch or something. Kain liked to see his younger brother happy because they did not get happiness a lot as children.
((hey I am actually heading out for an anime convention on Friday but I don't know if I will be on tomorrow due to preparation. The twins are still in the park and if you want to move on then that is okay or we can rp when I return. I am sorry to be leaving so abruptly and will return monday afternoon. Jayden knew about Linguini's and felt nervous about eating there. Its not often she gets to eat at such a fancy place, so finding a dress for such an occasion will be hard. That is not co aiderinf the price of the food, although compared to some luxury restaurants the food is affordable. Maybe she can find a dress hidden in her closet at home and wait until her next paycheck to have enough money spend on an entrée. No matter what, she will try her best to go to Linguini's since the twins speak so highly of the place.
"U-Um, it may take me some time to be able eat there. I don't know if I have a good dress to wear and I don't hace the money to spend right now. Maybe with my next paycheck I can...a-anyways, I'll make sure I go there someday...eek!! I'm gonna miss the bus! Gomenosai! I gotta go! If you ever need to see me im either at school, the library or the nightclub! G-Goodbye!"
Jayden quickly bowed to the twins before turning away and running off to where her bus stop is. Fortunately for her, she made it in time and will make it to school on time to deal with her unwanted popularity and school life.

Matt and Kain waved goodbye to their new friend Jay. Matt thought she was nice and Kain believed he could trust her. It was still their birthday and a nightclub sounded fun. They decided to head over to the nightclub and see if it really was all that it was cracked up to be. The twins left the park to the nightclub.

Yukiko paced back and forth excitedly, awaiting Katrina, who was bringing the new charm bearer, who she had yet to know anything about. Kai huffed in annoyance at Yukiko's pacing. 'Calm down before you give yourself a heart attack.' He said in frustration. Yukiko rolled her eyes in annoyance, continuing to pace. As she paced, she noticed Katrina approaching with a strange face. A boy! Waving excitedly, she ran up to the pair, bouncing around them. "Hi!" She said happily to the boy. "I'm Yukiko! This is Kai!" She added, holding Kai up to show the boy.
"Yukiko, put me down." The familiar sighed.

Artie had just entered the park with Katrina, a person who was a charm bearer like he himself, though he was the newest one to join. But, being the person that he was, he kept his distance from her out of habit as she lead him to the person who was the third charm bearer like they were. Even though Noelle had been using her...methods to help him get over his fear, unfortunately it was only working with his relationship with her. His face suddenly went bright red as he thought about Noelle and covered his face in embarrassment as he tried to calm down. He calmed down soon enough as he let out a light breath, and continued his thoughts. He was still quite scared of women, except for Noelle, and it took already a lot of courage just to follow Katrina. It was at that point he saw a girl waving at them excitedly, and for him he could only tense up, this was definitely the third charm bearer. He could feel a cold sweat go down his back as she ran up to him and Katrina and bounced around them, his fear getting the better of him, he quickly ran away from her and hid behind a nearby tree and peeked out. "U-Um.. H-Hi.. I-I'm Artie..." He replied to her after a moment of silence and watched her warily. At some point a black shadowy wolf with red eyes had appeared in front of the tree Artie hid behind as if he was guarding it and the boy as he watched the girl and the fox as he sat there silently.

With a warm smile on her face, Katrina led Artie to the main park. Really, it was the only park in Janhall, but nobody every seemed to care enough to point out such a detail. Keep her pace even, Kat watched as Yukiko bounded toward them, her aura as bright and cheerful as ever. It was full of such sincere happiness, Kat could feel her own mood lifting up. Looking over to Artie, she was happy to see that he had managed to introduce himself, proving that he was taking a step forward in his battle against his fear. "And you both already know me, so that's good." She laughed, one hand tucking a loose strand of hair behind her face as she added an explanation for why Yukiko would be holding up a fox for introductions. "Artie, Kai is Yukiko's familiar."

Yukiko giggled as the boy introduced himself so nervously. "You're a nervous one, aren't you?" She asked cheerfully.. The girl wasn't teasing him for being shy or afraid, she was just super oblivious to the fact that it could come off that way, and tended to speak before she thought. "Why is your face so red?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, her tail flicking behind her naturally. "How old are you? Where did you come from? Why do you look so scared?" She continued to ask random questions, not giving a break between them. Suddenly he darted back behind a tree to run away. She started to follow him, oblivious to the fact he was afraid of her, but Kai sensed it and spoke.
"Yukiko!" He began, snapping slightly at her to get her attention. "First of all... You need to breathe between questions, give him a chance to answer. And that is if he feels comfortable answering." The familiar paused, looking to Artie. "Second of all, he seems to have a fear of women, from the aura he's giving off.. And last... CALM DOWN!"
Kai looked to Artie and sighed. "I must apologize. She gets overexcited. She's harmless though, for the most part.. Unless you're easily annoyed." He said with a short chuckle. Yukiko blushed slightly, shifting from one foot to the other. "Sorry.. Didn't mean to startle you, Artie..." She said in an embarrassed sounding voice, before she perked up again and turned to Katrina. "What should we do now that we've all met? Would you guys like to go on a walk?" She asked. "We can talk a bit, and--" She paused, turning to Artie. "I'll try to keep a distance if you want." She continued with a warm smile.

Artie was quickly bombarded with questions and didn't even have a chance to answer any of them before she had been interrupted by the small fox. "U-Um.. yeah..." He replied with a light nod to the familiar as he apologized to him followed by an apology from the girl herself. "I-I'm nineteen y-years old... a-and I-I don't m-mind the walk, b-but I-I'll keep m-my distance... A-And let Beta h-here s-speak f-for me.." He replied cautiously as he looked to the shadowy wolf that still stood in front of the tree. As if on cue, the wolf stood from his sitting position and casually trotted over to Yukiko, her familiar, and Katrina. "Good day, I am Beta. One of master's wolves." Beta said in a growly voice, but clearly was speaking as he bowed a bit before looking at them, though he made it clear that there was more than one wolf under the boy's command. "Do not worry, Master will be able to hear the conversation through me and make his replies the same way." The shadowy red eyed wolf added as Artie nodded a bit and slowly came out from behind the tree, but was really keeping quite the distance between them.

Although Kat had been inside Artie's head, she had yet to see one of his wolves in person. When she enetered another's mind, nothing has a solid form, everything is, for the most part, emotion and aura. So when the male wolf stepped forward and spoke, she took several moments to stare. The boy's powers were truly fascinating, and lent credence to her belief that Artie could help protect this city. Twenty wolves like this one existed, ready to be called upon by Artie, so she knew that his stone, at least, would be safe.
Initiating the walk, Katrina gave a small nod to the wolf called Beta, her expression nuetral as she considered her words. "Yukiko, I understand your excitement. Artie will be a very close ally to us, but you must allow him to get used to his new job." She smiled kindly, knowing that it was more than just the job he had to get used to. Working with women was a diffuclt task for him, she was sure. However, she expected him to overcome his fear soon, though Katrina had no intention of pressing the issue that day. "Now," she started as they walked along, one hand tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, "I wanted to discuss the upcoming ball. You both will be attending, right?"

Yukiko smiled and nodded as Artie said he'd keep his distance, and have the wolf answer for him. "That's okay, I understand..." She replied with a smile, jumping nearly two feet and spinning around to face the wolf as it appeared. "EEK!" She squealed, nearly dropping Kai from her shoulder and darting behind a tree, much like Artie had. Flushing red in the face at her own reaction, Yukiko coughed slightly to cover her embarrassment, peeking out from behind the tree. "H-how did you do that?" She asked in a flustered voice, which was very unusual for her. When the wolf spoke, Yukiko's eyes widened. "Y-you can t-t-talk?!" She exclaimed. Her expression contorted from one of fear to one of excitement. "How long have you been able to talk? How did he summon you? How does he summon you?" She began returning to her old habits of asking too many questions, prompting the familiar on her shoulder to speak. "Yukiko... Too. Many. Questions." He said flatly. "Calm down."
Yukiko giggled. "Sorry." She laughed. Looking to Katrina, Yukiko nodded and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry sorry! I get excited.." She replied.
"We noticed." Kai said sarcastically, earning a glare from the kitsune girl. Yukiko returned her attention to Katrina, and nodded happily when she asked about the ball. "I'll be going." She turned to Beta. "Do you think Artie will be able to go?" She asked.

Beta tilted his head a bit at Yukiko's exaggerated reaction to his appearance and capability of speech. "Yes, I am more than capable of speech. I have always able to speak. I came out of his shadow, though I can easily appear out of anyone's or any thing's shadow. His ability is Legion of Hungry Wolves, there are twenty of us who inhabit his mind." Beta replied to all her questions with ease and in order as he watched her and followed after both her and Katrina. Artie, on the other hand, kept a good distance of about ten meters away from the girls, though he could hear them perfectly through Beta. He blinked a bit about the question of the ball before frowning a bit. He then made his reply to Beta. "...I see Master.." The wolf muttered as he looked down and then looked up at the two women, "Master says that he's not sure if he will go, as he is scared of women and isn't very good at being in places where there are many of them. The only woman he can calmly and happily be around is Mistress Noelle." Beta stated to the two of them as he walked. Behind them, if one were to look, they would see the young male blushing like an idiot at the mention of Noelle.
Katrina was pleased to see the Yukiko's excited response was dealt with by the wolf in a patient matter; no annoyance or bickering made her job easier, so she could focus on two, or rathe three, beings in front of her. "Mistress Noelle would be welcome. In fact, I encourage you both to bring a date." She had noticed the bright blush on Artie's face, a very clear sign as to just how he had become comfortable around this woman. "This ball is important to our town. The Veil's removal out here has been noticed by the rest of the world, and they watch everything we do; especially social events like the town ball, where our many visiting diplomats will be scrutinizing us as well." Kat flashed a small smile, trying to encourage her fellow charm bearers as she continued to speak. "Yukiko, you would do wonderfully, speaking with the guests and showing how interested you are in what they do and who they are." She turned her gaze to the wolf, speaking with him, but occasionally her eyes would look to Artie himself. "And Artie, your wolves would be a great show of strength for our little town."

Yukiko listened as the wolf spoke; interested in hearing what he was saying, although she didn't completely understand how the magic wolves worked. A wide grin crossed her face when the wolf mentioned a girl named Noelle, who was Artie's girlfriend? It seemed like it, anyway from how the boy was blushing when she glanced back at him. Kai noticed the wide grin on Yukiko's face and huffed slightly, before quietly speaking. 'Don't even think about teasing him... He's uncomfortable enough.' He warned. Yukiko smirked slightly, but nodded. Looking to Katrina as she spoke about bringing a date, the girl looked confused. "I don't know anyone but you both.. I doubt I could find anyone to go with me." She replied softly.
Artie and Beta remained silent as they listened to Katrina speak, though he blushed a fair bit more when she had stated that Noelle was more than welcome to come. Beta nodded carefully as Katrina stated that the ball is important to the town since the town had been noticed even by the normal people. Even Artie could easily understand this, so he sighed a bit and decided that he would go there, especially so if Noelle wanted to go as well. They listened as Katrina explained that Yukiko would be the one who speaks to the guests, and that Artie and his wolves would be the show of strength. There wasn't much Artie and Beta could say about Yukiko's situation though. "Miss Katrina, Artie would like to know what you mean by a 'show of strength'? Also, this is a question from me, there is a rumor that the King of the Dragons of Faranth Errol, the one who said to be the strongest world power on his own, is not only attending the ball but is also going to be supporting the town, can you confirm this..?" Beta questioned Katrina curiously as he looked up at her after stating some scary information. It was already known that the Dragon's diplomat was in town, but the fact the King himself was in town would easily come as a shock to the normally composed Katrina as it was something nobody really knew aside from Will and certain others, this showed how well Beta was able to get information that not even Katrina had, though there was also another reason why he knew that.
