Jean & Jamesxxxxx ◗ James drove the SUV carefully, trying not to get any of these things latched onto it and try to climb through the window. Because there was no window. They both looked around outside, seeing that everything was becoming chaos, and it all was in virtually in a matter of no time. It made them rethink everything, and realize just how crazy humanity was. Jean looked back at the rest in the car, making sure things were alright so far. But it looked like Zen wasn't quite the friendly person, but it all didn't quite matter right now. He sat back in his spot and let out a sigh, just when Joey poked her head in. "That's a good idea and all.. But to be honest I quite don't trust ourselves, and the others to be out in the open like that. Yeah it's away from everybody else, but this SUV is running low on gas, and we don't have any damn weapons besides a single bat." Jean came off a little cold to Joey, but he didn't mean it. So many thoughts were rushing through his head it was making him a bit conflicted. He could feel his brother's eyes on him, understanding how he felt.. But right now they need a solid plan for what the hell they were all going to do.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ⓓⓘⓜⓔ☣After yelling at some biters for not cleaning up after themselves, and "grounding" them, Dime skipped along the streets. They were full of biters, of course, but virtually none of them noticed her, and the ones that did, didn't even move to attack. Dime shouted at an SUV that drove past her, extremely fast, but decided to make her way towards where it came from. After turning at some blocks she made it to the high-school and skipped along it's grounds. She soon stopped, though, and titled her head when she saw a body on the curb, and walked a little closer to it. Once she identified it, however, she let out a deep sigh. "Y'know if you wanna make new best friends you have to play nice." Dime finally made her way over to the Stranger and sat right on top of him, as if he were a chair. She was light enough, though, that it wouldn't even bug him. "Hey have you seen Wallace around? I lost his blood trail.. Hope he didn't get killed by one of the living, he needs to clean his room." ☣

 Celestine was surprised at how Joey reacted. She knew that Hale was pretty strong. The mention of them being family surprised her a bit and she sat back in the seat, closing her eyes. When she closed them she could hear disturbing noises. The girl opened one of her blue eyes and looked out the window. It was a rather disturbing sight that chilled her to the bone. --- Akihiko was glued to the sight out the window. He couldn't seem to look away from it. His eyes looked over at the girl that shouted at the SUV. She seemed to get uninterested and went the other way. "She's going towards the highschool." He mumbled, afraid that she would get attacked by the men. "But she doesn't seem to attract those..creatures..."

Joey was a little surprised the way Jean spoke to her and she almost backed out, going to sit back in her seat and stuff her face into Hales arm but she didn't. She just leaned in a little further. " Do we really have any other chose? If we stay here we will just get eating by the things outside or starve to death. One or the other we wont last here, not in such a crowded place. If we go to my grandfathers farm its far away from this place, out in the middle of no where. There we can get food and guns. He has more hunting guns then any farmer should." Joey said and she looked at the sign on the SUV that showed how much gas was in the tank. " Can we make it to the end of town and fill up at a gas station there?" She asked. Zen looked over to Akihiko who noticed the girl. " She is an idiot...Either those things will eat her or that man in the mask will get her."

Halє A₴нтоп  ☢ Hale had a double take when he saw the little girl, "What the hell is she doing alone?!" he exclaimed, turning around to watched as they passed her, "My god... She could've needed help!" he protested, sitting forwards again, grimacing slightly, "It's too late now..." he muttered. He watched the people crying and gargling and screaming outside, already beginning to become desensitized of it. He shook his head, he couldn't do that, he had to stay human, he couldn't become a monster... he couldn't become that man in the mask...
Hi thoughts were interrupted by Akihiko's comment, "I sure hope so, she was so young... She probably couldn't fight off even one of those things...' he mumbled, "We should be able to fill up-.... Wait a second.... Look ahead, you think there won't be traffic the way we're going, to the looks of it, everybody just left their cars where they were. We need to find a back way, we should try a grab a map once we get to the gas station..." he said looking at all of them in the SUV, "And maybe find some weapons, even if it's a crowbar, anything we can swing, stab, shoot..." ☢

☠ The man stayed completely silent as usual and sat up, her still on his lap. He patted her head and looked around. He heard her question and shrugged. He never spoke, only made gestures and sometimes had a few laughs or grunts here and there. He pointed towards the woods and began to stand up, holding Dime in his arms for a minute before setting her down gently. He wanted to find that group, they seemed like they knew what was up and where they could go to be safe. ☠

Jean & Jamesxxxxx ◗ Ignoring Joey, not really OK with her plan, James nodded to Hale's idea. Even though they were twins, one of the other knew more about some things, and in this situation it was Jean. He told his brother to take certain roads to head into a back ally that would lead them to a run down gas station. The place was barely used, but used enough that it was in full stock and would deffinately have all the things they'd need. But the thought of seeing that girl on the streets nagged at the two.. She could have needed help, but she didn't seem to attract any of those things.. Both of them looked at each other, thinking the same thing. What if she's just like that masked man.. It didn't take long, though, to reach the gas station. Yet it was a little tricky to get to it, having to run over some biters that were blocking the way, and no doubt there would be some nearby.. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxⒹⓘⓜⓔ☣Dime pouted at the man who "said" he didn't know where Wallace was. Making a mental note to slap that damned biter on the head. She felt him pat her head, and then him stand up. After being set down on her feet gently, she looked over to the woods, where he pointed and smiled. "Think they're going camping?~" Giggling at her little joke, Dime started to head towards that direction, while reaching into her backpack. No doubt there would be other living people in there trying to survive, and she wanted to have her fun in making sure they weren't living anymore. Pulling out two pistols, she twirled them around her fingers and started to hum. ☣

When the twins ignored her she just sighed and sat back down beside Hale. She was used to being ignored so she just sat there quietly, not bothering to say anything more. She glanced out the window and noticed the girl and watched Hale worry about her. He always worried about girls, manly if they were younger then him. She couldn't help but smile a little. She liked him for wanting to take care of every one and anyone who needed it. As they got closer to the gas station and hit some biters Joey jumped a little, being light and all when the SUV hit a bump, aka biters she jumped a little. " Hey kid you better put on a seat belt before you fly threw a window." Zen said. Joey glared at him. " What is your problem with me!?" She asked, looking back at him. " Gee I don't know... Because of you we almost got eaten by those things at the school?" Zen said as he looked out the window. Joey puffed her cheeks as she was starting to get really ticked off. She normally was not the one to get mad. She normally would just take it and back away but with all that was going on she couldn't keep it bottled up anymore. " Well next time when you are in trouble I wont help you! I will let you get eaten!" She snapped.

Halє A₴нтоп ☢ Hale sighed and looked back at Zen, "Zen... Just stop. It's in the past. No need to hold a grudge against anyone." He said. He patted Joey's head, "Don't wish that upon anybody Joey, if he needs your help, you'll help him." He muttered, "We will all help each other..." He whispered, trailing off as he saw the gas station approaching, "Let's get ready, Zen, come with me inside, we'll grab food and maps then get outta there." He said looking back at him. ☢

☠ The man walked behind Dime, he seemed to be her protector. He always looked over her, no matter what, he remembered when e first found her when this catastrophe started. He's actually been happy to have her as company.
He reached behind his back and pulled a roll of hand tape out of his back pocket and began to wrap his knuckles. ☠

"What? I was just looking out for her...You want your girlfriend flying out a window?" Zen asked Hale as he glanced at him. Joey clinched her fist, ready to punch him but didn't as she felt Hale pat her head. She turned back around and nodded slowly. When they reached the gas station Joey wanted to help to but she knew that Hale wouldn't let her. Zen got his bat ready and he nodded to Hale. " Alright." He got ready to follow him inside. Joey quickly grabbed Hale's hand before he left. " Hale be careful and come back alright?" She said, worried about him.

Jean & Jamesxxxxx ◗ Turning into the gas station, James nodded to Hale and Zen to make a run for it. "I got the gas, the rest of you try to keep watch inside, got it?" Jean looked at the others as he opened the door as soon as James stopped the car. It was risky to turn it completely off, but in order to get the gas they needed in their tank it had to be done. Lucky Jean had his credit card on him and used it to get all the gas they needed. Money wasn't worth anything now. He waited outside, and looked around, keeping an eye out for anymore biters. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxⒹⓘⓜⓔ☣Continuing to hum, Dime made her way through the woods. She found a couple trying to outrun a few biters and shot them square in the head, to stop them from going through any pain and suffering. She laughed a little when the biters lunged at the dead bodies and started to eat them. Dime looked back at the masked man and smiled, watching him wrap up his hands. "Preparing for a brawl?" ☣

Halє A₴нтоп ☢ Hale ignored Zen's comment about Joey being his girlfriend, it wasn't funny to him anymore. "Let's go," he said swinging open the door. He looked back at Joey, he couldn't promise her anything at the moment, it was too much on his shoulders already. As he ran across the parking lot he could see out of the corners of his eyes all of the stumblers coming at them. "It's already spread to all of those people?!" he exclaimed over the sound of the groans and screams of the stumblers. Once they got inside he slammed the door shut, only to see that there were about 6 already in there. "You wanna distract them, Zen while I grab food and maps?" he asked frantically. He ran to the shelves and began to shoving food into his bag, anything he could find, chips, jerky, sandwiches, granola, etc. he ran to the cooler section and began to stuff his bag full of water as well. ☢

☠ The man looked at Dime and shrugged his shoulders. Who knew what he was going to do? If they came across some people, who knows who he'll have to pummel to death? Especially if there aren't any biters around to feed them too. ☠

Zen ran out of the SUV and followed Hale across the parking lot. " Well in a city like this with a lot of people it would only be a matter of time." He yelled at Hale, over the groan's and screams. When the got inside and Hale shut the door Zen looked at all the zombies in the store. " Way ahead of you." He said to Hale before walking over to one of the Zombies and smashing its head with his baseball bat. " Hey! Walking dead things over here!" He shouted, getting all their attention away from Hale. Joey watched the two run off and she was thinking about jumping out and following them but stayed with the others. She looked back at Celestine and Akihiko. " U-Um... I never got your name." She said to Akihiko.

Celestine watched as Zen and Hale walked into the store. Those creatures were very threatening but she was already proved that their was some other creepy humans trying to hurt them for no reason. That fact made her slum over a bit, trying to think. Her anxiety felt like it was shooting through the roof. She let out a shaky breath and finally looked up, wishing that she was of more help to the group.--- Akihiko watched as most of the people got out. He was now stuck with the blonde and...the other girl. He was pretty sure her name was Joey. He was still confused on that matter. When he heard her talk to him he turned towards her. "Akihiko." He said with a small smile. "Is Joey a nickname?" He asked curiously as his fingers drummed on the seat.

" A...Akihiko? That's a neat name." She said being slightly shy. She looked at his earring and looked at it in awe. She liked crosses in way because there were so many different kinds. " I like you earring by the way." She said clearing her throat a bit. when he asked about her name she slightly sighed. She got asked that question a lot. " Nope... My full name is Joey and yes I know its a boy's name BUT when I was born it was still classified as a unisex name." She said as she slightly sunk into her seat. Most people thought her Joey was short for Josephine or something along that line but nope. Joey's full name was Joey.

--- Akihiko smiled and touched his earring. "Thank you." he said and thought about it. "My aunt gave it to me." he explained and noticed Joey's expression. "Hey, don't get all down. I like it. I was only asking because at my old school I was usually called Aki." He said with a small laugh and gave her a small pat on the shoulder. Joey seemed pretty nice and she looked sweet. He was glad that he was with this group of people.

"Aki?" Joey asked and she couldn't help but giggle a little. " That's cute. My Mom calls me Jo-Jo or just Joe. At school... Im called Shorty ALOT." Joey said with a sigh. She was a bit surprised when he patted her shoulder. Normally if other people touched her it was to push her beside Hale. " Uh...Thank you." She said, putting a smile on her face.
