Tavion Vega Fighter Dragoon Interpreter of Condolences

A smile crept across Tavion's face as he saw that Maurice, without a moments hesitation was ready to deal with the threat. He was well trained, aware of his surroundings and his reaction time was quite startling. The Headmaster was quite pleased with how his skills were sharper than ever before. Tavion took in a breath as Maurice spoke, tapping the bottom of the cross against the ground and turned his head in their other pairs general direction. Agnes and Reznya were still in an earshot distance, but even so he had to raise his voice quite high. "Clementine. I hope your ready to have this barrier opened in a moments notice! Rezzy, let me know if you pick up any new scents from inside the barrier or in the area surrounding us!" He said as he cupped one hand around his mouth so as to make his voice project further. His hand came from his mouth only to be placed on Maurice's forearms. "Rest easy Brother. Your correct, but I don't want that test interrupted unless ABSOLUTELY necessary." It would even be hard for a Demon Lord to get rid of this group. Upper First, Upper Second, B-Class Demon and an Arc Knight. That's quite a fierce team. Tavion would of course take forward being a Fighter and the strongest. Maurice, the Ranger. Demon's hate Aria so they would go straight for her, that's when Reznya and Tavion would switch and she would be on offense while he would protect the woman.

                    They probably wouldn't die. Those words alone had caused him to smile at the thought of them fighting to keep their lives. In a fight when one battled for their own life, powers along with limitations were revealed, but more specifically, the limitations one believed they had were pushed past because of the strong desire to live. When their trip began, he took to his position without saying much. Demons had moved to their side in order to help guide them along the path, or at least, that's what he had hoped they were doing since no one seemed to freak out much aside from Ignazio. The trip proceeded, and despite minor road bumps, they had once again re-joined each other in formation before continuing onwards. Despite everything that had happened, and everything that was happening, Lloyd remained silent, his hand resting on Durandal's hilt. He had not been presented with a chance to truly use his sword in battle since arriving at the Academy, and now, he merely itched to be able to at least unsheathe his blade. Larger snakes had then proceeded to attack, but were taken care of before he could truly get into any type of fighting stance. Once again, their trip began, this time however, the order to run was given, but just before he could, a barrier formed around them. The Hydra had begun its attack, and as its heads slammed against the barrier, he took a slight step backwards before looking around quickly. Everyone save for Victor was within the barrier, and the thought of the male having to face such a vicious creature on his own was not a good one. No exorcist was supposed to fight alone, as they worked better in groups, but against a Hydra, there was no way in Hell that one should have been facing it alone.

                    Audrianna had not been given the chance to create a hole in the ground, for as Victor climbed its head and blinded the Hydra, the large creature had turned its attention away from them. When the barrier finally lowered itself, the problem of the poisonous gas in the area was now a threat as well. But, within moments Ignazio had summoned not one, but both of his familiars. Innocentius had lit the gas on fire before taking control of it while growing in size. The bird demon had gone after Victor, and when they had not immediately returned, he could only assume that she had indeed managed to grab the male before the worst happen. Her master however, had begun to chant the words of a verse, and as he did so, Lloyd could not help but look on with slight concern. Sure, Ignazio was undoubtedly formidable as an opponent, but the rate in which he was expending Ki was not exactly safe, and because of this, Lloyd took action. When an Aria chanted, demons were drawn towards said Aria like moths to a flame. One of his familiars was holding Victor, so it would not be fighting immediately, and the other was more than likely preparing for a massive attack. Standing a little before Ignazio, his hand slid down Durandal's hilt before a calm breath was released. Gripping the hilt tightly, he unsheathed Durandal before allowing his sword arms to slowly move to his side. Since an attack on the Hydra itself would prove foolish given the amount of its heads and Ignazio's familiar waiting to incinerate it completely. So, for the time being he would merely defend his friend until he finished chanting.

                    "Celebron." His words were soft, but the Cat Sidhe that had once been perched lazily on his shoulder had now lifted himself, so that he could jump to the ground besides Lloyd. "Finally! Watch and be amazed!"Now standing proud besides its master, the young Cat Sidhe let out an audible meow before the chiming of bells could be heard as his earring connected. The Hydra would now see various versions of Victor appear one by one in a circle around its body. Each illusionary Victor would take up a fighting stance before taunting the beast to attack them. Putting both hand's on Durandal's hilt, Lloyd held it facing the large serpent in case the need to attack, or defend came up. "The first blade, fast as lightning, on the wings of the swift wind." While waiting for the Hydra's reaction, Lloyd continued to chant the words of his great grandfather in order to remain focused on the task at hand.

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Audrianna watched as her attack against the Hydra seemed futile. The beast had learned since their last attack, and predicted her attack perfectly. She clinched her fist as the Hydra thrashed about, attacking the group as if her retaliation meant nothing. She then looked over at Ignazio as he commanded her to begin digging, so that's what she did. "Nymeria, you heard Ignazio. Let's dig our way out of this situation." Nymeria looked towards Audrianna, eyes stern. "I can dig a whole wide enough and I can tunnel towards the lake. But you'll need to cover me." Audrianna nodded towards her familiar as she said "I will always cover you." Nymeria then made her way to the middle of the group and began to dig into the earth, making a whole wide enough for only the exorcists to fit down. She would tunnel towards the lake.

Audrianna jumped down the whole with her familiar as the rest of the group fought against the Hydra. She wasn't sure what Victor, Ignazio, Lloyd, Alex, and Homura were doing at the moment. She knew Ignazio had summoned his familiars, because she could feel the shift in Qi. Audrianna wasn't sure when the group would follow, but hopefully it would be soon. Nymeria continued tunneling towards the lake as Audrianna followed close behind. "Nymeria, I can't enter the lake. I am not pure. I'm half demon..." Nymeria's claws dug deep into the earth, using her demonic power to force the earth aside. "Yes, I know. But we will worry about that when the time comes." Audrianna hoped the group would follow her soon. The Hydra had them in a position that was at a disadvantage. They needed to relocate their group to an open space to where they could put the Hydra where they needed it, instead of the Hydra trying to force them into a group that it could swallow in one bite.

xxxxxxx Far off from all the action taking place with the Exorcists, Okabe and Sion emerged from a rundown car inside a cave. Okabe took a step out and looked about, looking at the top of the trees, as was all that he could see... Flames. Okabe smiled and looked at the flames with almost a sense of happiness. Here I wanted to set the forest on fire, and it's already lit! Okabe looked at his two Salamanders on his shoulders and he nodded to them. Bringing his hand up, he brushed their chins and they gave out a small purr of pleasure almost. His cyan eyes looked into the forest, sensing many things, including another member of the Kin of Iblis... a Innocentius it seemed, it definitely was no Peg lantern or Salamander. "Go, you know what to do." The two lizard demons, sped off of Okabe, leaping off and darting off into the forest, one headed straight for the flames that were bellowing from the trees, looking for its meal... The Salamander would observe and watch closer in the flames, and slowly grow from the flames hopefully. However the other lizard darted off and only hid in the forest, seeming to keep an eye on Okabe and the surroundings, making sure that no one came sneaking up on his master, even though it was unlikely to happen. To sneak up on someone, that is not supposed to be here, is hard to anticipate in the first place.

OKabe flipped out the files, finally reading through them fully as he waited for Sion, whether she was going to fly off, or stay with him was unknown, but he was content with his situation so far.

[short post, have to head off for the day! I'll check up tomorrow and post again ^_^]

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias
Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year

Victor had successfully angered the Hydra and gotten it's fully attention. Once his blade struck the eye of the head, it began to writhe and buckle trying to throw Victor off. At this time, he could see the rest of the Hydra come at him, body and all. At this opportunity, Victor could at least destroy the heart but not without having to fend off the heads. In one throw, the beast head Victor was one flung him up into teh air although it was because Victor timed his release. High in the air, Victor let out his breath and took another deep one. He could see the area below covered in the demonic Tabun gas and the vicious party awaiting him below. The heads began to snap at the falling Victor, seeking to strike him with their fangs but Victor began to swing his legs. As each head came to take a bite, Victor would swipe at it with a spinning kick. It wasn't more than a harsh slap to each head but it was enough to divert them away one by one. With each connection, Victor stayed afloat, a signature of his Martial Art that was cleverly named "Wings of the Savage". Suddenly, the ground below was lit up in flames, seeking fuel in the violet gas that had settled. With no warning, Victor was snatched up from the air. Something had dug into his bullet proof vest and was carrying him off. The flames licked up and teh heat became unbearable and familiar. It had to be Ignazio and Victor knew it. "Tell Ignazio I'm sorry for the gas." Victor said, assuming that the bird demon that carried him would communicate with him. He then looked up at Garuda when he was lifted to be examined. A smirk was on his face as he looked at the female demon. "But, that demon is mine!" He said as if life or death had nothing to do with it. With that he wrenched himself from the talon grip and began to fall. As he fell, he took a deep breath and dipped head first and orange Qi was expelled around Victor in a sphere before it was condensed until it only covered Victor's body. He could see the writhing Hydra heads and the fire that would burn them to a crisp. A flat barrier formed ahead of Victor's falling position and he used it for footing to speed his fall by running downwards and angle a jump aimed at one of the Hydra heads. It wasn't hard to get one of them to face him and as one did, Victor dived straight into it's mouth, with great speed. He got far into the head before he began to crawl. Victor could see the light of the fire outside of the snake skin and continued making his way deep into the Hydra until he reached the body. Holding his breath and whatever juices tried to break him apart, he removed both Semtex grenades, all four Frag grenades and the four Holy Water grenades. Removing all their pins and setting the Holy Water granades to explode, Victor smirked at the look his classmates would get when they thought he sacrificed himself. The idea of pranking them was almost as good as having an S-Rank kill under his belt. The explosives were cleverly encased to explode even underwater and almost immediately after arming ensuring a nice light show. Letting the grenades go, Victor suddenly disappeared. His molecules let each other go and permeated out of the Hydra's body making their way up and away from the fire. Consciously, Victor made his way up to a high tree on the opposite side of the lake and settled at it's highest branch.

From a distance the forest was catching a blaze but it was controlled in a centralized area; the very center of the Forest of Screams to be exact; the flames being a rich red and orange clashing with the color of the lush greenery around. These young Exorcists managed to find the Guardian of the Forest and with it; they found themselves in a fight. As time moved forward the fight had turned into a one on one between Victor and the Hydra. Victor looked as if it was holding its own but eventually was thrown off and caught by another demon, one flying at an extremely fast speed. Another demon had appeared, and it was the very demon that was setting the forest on fire. Kin of Iblis, it was a Fiend. Everyone that was an Exwire SHOULD, have at least knew that, those under the Kin of Rot such as the Hydra were weak against those whom are Kin of Fire. The Hydra was preoccupied by not just the fire demon attacking it with Flames creating from the very poison it spewed the demon was also being forced to view an illusion, but the fact the young demon whom casted the Illusion wasn’t strong enough to enchant the mighty Hydra. The Hydra moved towards the lake quickly trying to get out of the range of the Fiend. It hissed and moved, but as it was moving Victor had made its way towards the Demon. The Demon had accidently swallowed Victor and unknowingly a large quantity of explosives, but as soon as the holy water grenade went off inside of it. The Hydra hissed at each other just as it reached the water and dove in to it.

Coming from the lake was a large explosion along with the color of the lake turning into a bubbling purple and pink like color. Soon two heads floated to the top of the lake as the poisonous blood circulated around. Unknown to those within the further group and maybe even to Victor who was a little closer the Hydra had severed its own head by ripping it off with the already single eyed head thanks to Victor’s blade. The blade itself was destroyed by the acid like blood that was amplified by the water. The water had turned into a pool of Miasma, and it began to boil over as the Hydra exposed it’s heads from the Lake and hissed at the Fiend and then over at Victor and the flying Pazuzu. Now the demon had a total of eight heads. It was growing stronger, the more they were attacked or even killed. The older heads held burns and other wounds caused by the fire but they were slowly being healed by being in the now contaminated lake. The newer heads began to strike at the older heads ripping them off one at a time. Seconds after they completed ripping off their own heads more heads were born and then twelve heads stood in total now.

The Hydra’s roar completely echoed through the forest as its necks were getting longer each time they were reborn. At this rate the Hydra would be one with the forest if the group could stop it in time. The Hydra began to his and moved around in the water as it waited for its wounds to heal. The holy water had left a mark on the inside of the Hydra even though its old head was severed; the explosives were still effective, that it left the Hydra in a state where it needed to heal. So it was buying time being in the lake allowing the poison to heal its body burns and the hole in the base of its neck from a few of the explosives blowing up before the connection could have been completely severed. The blood that mixed with the lake began to bubble and expand to the point a pink fog was emitting from the water and crawled on to shore. The fumes began to eat through the plant life near the base of the lake as well as the earth around. Eventually it would destroy the forest if it was allowed to move any further. But the rate it was moving it would take hours.

After Victor had managed to free himself from the Pazuzu’s talons the winged demon flew back to her master and delivered the message. She continued to watch the battle as it conspired and spoke to him telepathically about what was going on. Ignazio had a pretty good understanding about Victor and what just happened which explained why the sounds of explosions went off along with the retreat of the creature. Ignazio lowered his hand and the glyph vanished. He took in a deep breath and controlled himself before looking at the back of the large Fiend. Innocentius hadn’t moved since its last orders. The large demon was lunged over with his right hand on the ground and its left hand squeezing the flames around it. Ignazio turned around and noticed the hole had already been crafted and was already pretty deep. ’She works fast’ Ignazio made his way to the hole and then turned his head to look in the distance where Victor was. After his kindness was refused for some reason of glory or to look cool in front of Alexandria, Ignazio had officially had it with Victor and was no longer willing to deal with him. There were too many new problems going on. ”We’re falling back for now, we need a new plan, according to Garuda that Hydra is pretty injured, as much as I’d like to go get hot head over there, he’s as good as dead to us at this point. No exorcist should ever travel alone or fight alone. That’s rule number one that taught us as a Page.” Ignazio held the two cards for his familiar and then moved the card for Innocentius into his left hand and held it into the air. The flames began to turn into golden glitter that raised into the sky as the flame demon vanished as well. Ignazio placed Innocentius’ card back into his holster and then looked at Garuda.

”Keep an eye on the area from above, be careful with the barrier in the air, its range is pretty high but it’s still like a cage for you. Just watch over Victor from a distance and keep a closer eye on the Hydra. I’ll stay in communication with you telepathically, I’ll need you to tell me where to aim if I need to fire from the ground.” he coldly said as the wigged creature flapped its wings before flying into the air swiftly then heading back over to the lake and began to circle the area watching the Hydra and Victor just as she was told. Ignazio turned and looked at Lloyd. ”Let’s go. We’ll follow this path and come up with something for us to do against that demon. There has to be a way to hold it in place long enough to destroy its heart.” he said as he started to think about the demon’s motions and what it was saying earlier. Ignazio shook his head and leaped into the hole to follow the path that Audrianna was creating to create a bunker for them.

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt

Aria || Dragoon || Upper 1st Class

        Clementine watched with interest as the action began to unfold. The golden glow replaced by the glow of fire, hues of red, yellow and orange dancing amongst the dry foliage and biting at the trees. It was hard to follow exactly what Victor had done, as Clementine had honestly marked him as another rat to fill the snake's belly. In that regard she wasn't far off. The explosion sent the creature tearing away from the group and into the lake, clearly injured with the blood trail the creature had left in its place. Clementine knew the hydra wasn't dead, and while the boys actions were a bit gutsy.. It would buy time for them to regroup and form a new plan. They would have to ban togeather if they wanted even a chance to kill the pissed off snake. Its rage would likely make its next move even more deadly- it had a purpose and even more so a desire to kill the young trainees. Clementine smiled, "Better get moving loves." she said to herself. She heard the arc knights words, he was concerned once more. 'Don't you ever give it a rest..?' Clementine thought with a shake of her head and a sigh. Placing her bincoulars down once more she turned to the headmaster, cupping a hand to her mouth to help her voice carry between their distance; "Even if I give in to that order- you've no way to protect yourself from the poison that permiates those woods." she had a point, certainly he would recognize that. But if the man was truly determined Clementine knew she would have to act to save his a**. And in that regard, she was capable of doing so. She could create a barrier around their bodies.. At the expense of her qi.. But if their intervention was so nessisary she would have to be careful of her qi usage.

        "I, for one, don't see any reason for intervention. Let the young exorcists learn. If they die because of their own stupidity.. It was bound to happen eventually.." Clementine called to the fair haired arc knight. Her voice sounded perhaps disinterested in the progress of the examination. Yet, the opposite was true. Honestly, Clementine was messing with the arc knight. Growing quickly tired of his constant worry. The man had an odd head set on his shoulders- he was a dreamer, a scared and worried dreamer. Clementine let her words sink in before speaking once more to Tavion; "Tev-tev.." she called out to him. "If they would work together.. They would of already killed the beast."

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias
Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year

Victor watched from atop a high tree branch, still in his translucent form. His expression was expectant and filled with wonder as he watched the Hydra hiss and run towards the lake. He knew it wouldn't be long before it would explode and fill the area with chunks of charred serpent meat. To Victor's surprise, the Hydra crashed through the barrier around the lake and jumped right in. The explosion followed, sending water high up but something was wrong. The water turned a dark pink and there was movement in the lake. Suddenly, eight Hydra head appeared from the water, angrier than before. How's that possible? I was sure I reached the body. Victor thought in disbelief. He noticed floating Hydra heads in the water and other fleshy remains. Did it throw up the grenades? No, I had Semtex. Maybe it chewed them out itself. Victor wondered. It would explain the intact beast and the mangled heads, as gruesome as the idea was. He could see that the monster had bled enough to fill the lake with poison, killing the fish inside and complicating the target extraction. So it's injured atleast. Victor breathed in and out, the air moving in him and through him. He was tired after having expelled so much of his Qi and figured he needed to regroup and recover. Victor looked around in hopes of seeing the others but Ignazio had retracted his Fiend and Garuda had returned into the forest in the direction that they had come from. Victor gave up and let himself fall backwards and phase into the tree he was on. It was a large tree and completely covered Victor as he moved through. After a few moments, the leaves on the tree began to fall and the bark began to weaken and crumble. The branched lost their vitality and would be unable to hold their weight. The tree died as all the Qi had been drained from it down to it's roots. Victor drifted along the forest, continuing the process. Before long, a good portion of the tree line that outlined the clearing at the lake had turned grey and barren. As he drifted in and out of trees, Victor would spot the Naga of the forest and enter them like a spirit and drain them of their Qi. They held moderate amounts of Qi for being posessed animals but when added together they made a strong well of Qi. After half a dozen Nagas and a handful of trees, Victor drifted through the forest through the branches, looking for his comrades. Victor had given the Hydra a taste of his offensive but it was not enough to overcome the multi-headed demon. Victor would retreat to a support role once he reintegrated with the team.

Doctor || Knight || Exwire

              Long, tense moments passed as the seemingly impossible events changed, rapidly. Victor must of done something to catch the hydra's attention. The thing seemed to chase him. Putting distance between its self and the golden orb. Alexandria couldn't fathom what Victor had done to piss the creature off. Whatever it was it was likely something crazy with disregard for his life. She shook her head turning towards her allies.

              Audrianna had been tasked with creating some sort of hole, at this point it was looking like a bunker. Alexandria hopped into the bunker after Ignazio, listening to his words. The answer at this point wasn't clear. How to hold the creature back? It tore through the earth 'hair pins' Audrianna or perhaps Nymeria had created. Between the rest of the group it wasn't a clear answer to who else could pull off similar things. While there were aria among them, what verses they knew was something of an unknown. Alexandria had seen one of Ignazio's fatal verses.. But the others he knew? And Victor's? So many unknowns. From her limited knowledge of each of her allies it would seem that one or more of them would have to catch the demons attention while a separate group worked on killing the creature. Alexandria decided to wait on voicing that idea.. It was frankly dangerous. And the group taking the serpent's aggression were in a highly risky situation.

Tavion Vega Fighter Dragoon Interpreter of Condolences
Southern Flame General | Acting Paladin | True Cross Academy Headmaster | Arc Knight

✖ ╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲ ✖

Tavion folded his arms across his chest and watched the barrier as the poisonous gas seemed to bounce against the glass longing to escape from it's confines. He knew that they had still yet to kill the beast for he sheer fact that he could still feel it's presence. Very high ranked demons tended to give off a distinct feel to them when they were around if they could not control it, for instance donning a human form. He heard the voice of the Aria once more speak about not having a way to protect himself against that poison. That was true but he had 10 minutes maximum. That was more than enough time. "But I have you~!" He decided he would joke as he smile at her. She probably wouldn't be able to see it unless she had her binoculars on. Tavion hoped that it wouldn't come to them having to intervene but if necessary he would do what it took to save them. He would have no students die. Not on his watch.

The Headmaster's eye twitched at Agnes' next words. Surely she didn't think that way. Surely an Exorcist bound by the church could not sit idly by and watch on as youngsters die without lifting a single finger. No she didn't think that way. He didn't respond to what she said, but his face went rigid and hard, clenching one side of his jaw. Tavion was scared and worried. Scared that he would watch anymore of his comrades or students die before him and worried that he wouldn't be able to agree to peace with the demons; destined to fight until his last breath. But still, he continued to dream. That's what got him where he was. Despite the negativity and constant worrying about destructive outcomes, his ambition still held strong. It was priceless; something that ran in his veins. He snapped out of thought as Clementine opted to call him a nickname which made him chuckle. "Perhaps...But..." He said to himself before forming his hand into a cup again. "El Capitan on their team doesn't have much leadership skills. From what I learned at school, he throws around a bunch of commands to those he feels are beneath him without conviction and expects them to follow. He has quite a vast info net but having more knowledge doesn't make you a better leader. Both Hot Heads don't like following orders from someone they think is soft and the girls are indifferent. The Yggmillenia boy is the only one that I believe to be actually capable of banding that team together." The Headmaster breathed in after that long list of things to say and said something to himself once more. "He has conviction..."

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Nymeria was tunneling rather fast, but that was no surprise. Being a Demon of the Earth, the earth beneath her paws basically moved at will. "Nymeria, it sounds like a lot is going on up above." Nymeria didn't turn around, but merely kept at her digging. It was her job to make sure Audrianna stayed safe, and she wasn't going to stop for anything until she made sure no harm would come to the one she served. "Yes, I can feel the shift in Qi. The Hydra seems weakened, but not killed." Audrianna knew that the team up above could weaken the Hydra long enough for them to retreat for Qi build up, but she wondered what the plan to kill it would be. Being a Demon of Rot, Audriann's Earth attacks would hurt the demon, but would not be super effective. She knew Ignazio's thoughts when he brought out his flame familiar.

When Ignazio joined her below, she turned her head to look at him. Her face was not worried, but it wasn't a content one either. Just blank. "So, where should we point this tunnel?" She knew if Ignazio had decided to join her in the bunker, then they had neutralized the threat for the time being. It would only be a matter of time before the Hydra became mobile again and a bigger threat than before, which meant they needed a plan. The Hydra attacked so fast that there wasn't really a time for them to come together with a plan. Now, since they knew the threat was here and true, they could work together to take down the S-class demon.

As her head was turned, she noticed that Alex had joined in behind Ignazio. That meant the only people left to join them was Lloyd, Homura, and Victor. She looked over Ignazio's shoulder back at Alex. "Where is Victor?" Audrianna knew that Victor wouldn't leave Alex's side in the forest. He had made it quite obvious that Alex was his responsibility to protect. So for her to come to the bunker without him was really odd. It made Audrianna wonder what could have happened to him. She knew Lloyd and Homura would come in their own time, but Victor was always by Alex.

The bunker that was being dug was tall enough for all of them to stand up right. The hole that had been dug for them to jump through was narrow; enough for only a regular sized person to fit through. However, once down in the ground, the bunker became very wide and very long in measurements. It was like standing around as normal with enough room to stretch, but there definitely wasn't enough room for a Hydra to fit. Nymeria continued digging, slinging as little dirt as possible. Audrianna wondered what Ignazio's plan was. It was either to just grab the object the exam requested from the bottom of the lake, or it was to kill the Hydra then go for the item. Since the Hydra didn't have to be killed for the exam, and none of them seemed capable of finishing the thing off, Audrianna figured it would be to just get the time. Of course, if all of the Exwire's and Page's skills were used together, maybe they would have an easier time bringing down the Hydra than working separately.

                    Having seen that the illusions seemed to have no affect on the Hydra, he quickly bent down in order to put a hand on Celebron's heads. One by one, the illusions began to disappear before his earrings separated once again. A quick leap was all it took for Celebron to regain his spot on Lloyd's shoulder, and as he did so, the winged familiar had returned without Victor. Surely, a familiar of Ignazio Barthomeloi had not failed in its job, so what had happened to Victor? Moving back besides Ignazio he listened closely to his next set of words before sighing at the mention of Victor going off on his own. Was there truly any need for him to have gone off on his own? He could understand in the beginning when they had been forcibly split up by the Hydra, but when Ignazio's familiar had gone to get him, could he not accept the ride back through the air? Once Ignazio had entered the hole, Lloyd was quick to jump down behind him, though he was somewhat alarmed by the fact that he had not hit the ground as quickly as he would have liked. Following the path until he had found Audrianna, he merely shook his head at her question.

                    "Not sure. But, in our short time together, I know he is not dead. He's too stubborn to die." Watching as her familiar continued digging, he decided to sheath Durandal for the time being. A plan would be needed to take on the Hydra and retrieve their item, and seeing as the Hydra had retreated somewhere within the forest, a solid one that utilized all of their skills would be necessary. "Whatever our plan of action is, we need to avoid the heads. Cutting down any of their heads on purpose, or accidentally is only going to hinder us more. Seeing as the beast is injured, its undoubtedly hiding somewhere in order to regain its strength. The problem, is where its hiding. While it could very well be hiding in the forest itself, it may have also retreated to a much larger space..." Being a teammate down was making things rather complicated, but at the same time, the teammate they had lost was one who was quick to take things on alone. So for the time being, he was unsure if Victor could actually be called a "teammate". "If were to face this threat as a team, we'll all have to act as one, covering each others faults and moving with one another. Should Victor somehow find his way back to us, we'll have to cover his actions as well. While it may be a pain to cover Victor, we can not afford to be separated again. Otherwise, we may be pushed back into a situation similar to this one again, or something far worse." Before he had not been given an opportunity to actually use his blade in combat, but this time, he would make full use of it in order to protect and assist his friends.
