((Late, I know, but looking to join the fun before it's all over... XD))--- There was a party and the darling Calypso had yet to make an appearance? Couldn't have that. It could be scandalous!
However, being stylishly late to the party meant that she could make an entrance that would be noticed by the most Winiko in attendance possible. After checking her appearance for the final time, Calypso adopted a graceful swagger to enter the main room of the party.
Only to be frustrated by noting that certain hostilities on the other side of the room were drawing the attention of most away from her entrance. She'd chosen just the wrong moment to enter as the fighting started to come to blows. Curses!
Foolish males. She huffed quietly, stomping her paw in irritation. How dare they resort to such brutish behavior rather than showering attention on her?!? What sort of stupid party was this?

In the shadows on the far side of the room from the erupting hostilities, only two pair of glowing white eyes could be seen. They seemed focused on the confrontation, narrowing with contained glee. Fools. Let them fight. Perhaps they'd tear each other apart for her amusement.
That would make this such a lovely event.
Sadly, she had to admit honestly that she was probably hoping for far too much. Besides, that would imply that these laughable fops could be mistaken for capable warriors, even if they were only making victims of each other. With a quiet sigh, her tendril-like ears lowered, anticipation giving way to reluctant reality. Much as she wished otherwise, the worst of the fighting had been brought to an end...again, reluctantly before they'd torn the entire InBetween apart...but, she had to wonder:
Did that mean she couldn't still find a bit of fun at the expense of the human-loving saps?

Was it too much to hope for a simple, peaceful evening free of strife?
Apparently so.
With obvious irritation, the dark-hued Wini turned disapproving eyes on the confrontation. The big, red Elder had been increasing in volume and annoying behavior for a while now, apparently, drawing attention from all sides of the room. To be quite honest, Shiye felt the fool had had far too much to drink and was bringing any trouble upon himself. On the other paw, he didn't want to see trouble brought to innocent Winiko.
On the other other paw, though he considered whether he might need to help keep the peace...if it didn't appear to get too out-of-control or violent, he'd really rather not get involved. Just let what happened happen.
Hmm, still left him with one paw remaining.
With only one wary eye on the unfolding noise, he turned the other two to the rest of the party, looking for any diversion that might present itself as more desirable. Far from getting out of control like 'some Winis', he decided that perhaps a single glass of something might help him relax and possibly even have a nice time tonight. That thought in mind, he skirted around the trouble and headed for the drink table.
He could hope, right?

Having snuck into the warehouse thinking she was crashing some amazing and exclusive party she was not invited to, Keira was disappointed. This place was a dump and full of nerds. Where are the cool Wini? Rather than waste a perfectly good disco ball, she decided to make the best of this. Well, maybe.
She started out not by lingering near the drinks or food, like most appeared, but by dancing. The disco ball was rather fabulous, even if nothing else was. And the music didn't totally suck. Well, maybe.
Trying real hard to ignore the raging Elder demon's shenanigans, Keira tried to lose herself in the music and dancing. Instead, she kept letting herself get distracted by peering towards the commotion and then towards the snacks and back again. Like the bell at a boxing match, the growl emitting from low in her abdomen signaled her battle with trying to dance was over. Snacks won.
Still thinking she's crashing this party, she casually strolled towards some food, careful to not bump into anyone, but still act like she belonged here. A fleeting thought passed through her mind and she laughed. It was just enough of a distraction that she didn't see the dark wini she ran in to.

Drinks, snacks...it all had to be somewhere in the same area, right? Food he'd found, but not the other refreshments. Focusing in the distance, the male Wini reared up briefly for a better look around...
...and bumped into someone behind him that he'd apparently not noticed at all before. No wonder he couldn't find the drinks if he was so unobservant tonight!
The collision hadn't been that hard, but the contact caused him to immediately recoil, throwing him off-balance for his landing. The aquatic hybrid stumbled a bit, but managed to steady himself before losing his footing completely. Silently reprimanding himself for not paying more attention, he turned to see who he'd bumped into. Taking in the sharp horns and flowing hair and mane, Shiye realized the collision could have been much worse. How had he missed her there?
"Apologies, miss," he offered, taking a step back. "I didn't see you there. Are you alright?"

Lala saw the first strike go out and gave a startled, and very displeased shriek. She may or may not have shouted that the drunk bastards were going to ruin her party. She could have also just been making disgruntled noise. Who knows? But after a moment, she got her wits about her. "DAY! THEY'RE WRECKING IT!" She cried to the elder. Day turned her attention from the girls, and the newcomers who appeared behind them and looked towards the fight, then to Lala. "The hell do you expect me to do?" But her paws were already carrying her towards the innocent bystanders. She wasn't going to get into the fight, no. That wasn't her thing. But there was one in the kitchen... Marz had more or less been forgotten in the kitchen by the ever so loving hostess and his irritating housemate. But when he heard the koi shriek, and the stupid elder female reply, he knew something good was happening and came bursting out of the kitchen, eyes alight in glee. Sure, he had come because Lala said free food. And maaaaaaaaaaaaybe she had asked something like for him to help keep the peace. But a full out brawl was just too damn fun! He started running towards the fight with glee.

Keira froze, watching the other wini stumble a little then catch himself. He apologized to her. He didn't notice that I ran into him. Play it cool. "Oh, uhm yes. Yes." She stared him down, dragging her focus from him, to the table and back again. "So uhh, how are the snacks?"
Dummy.
It was hard to be cool when her swagger had been disrupted like this. Shifting her posture just a little to look more demure and less derp, she flourished with a paw. "Lame party huh?"
Just as she spoke those word, her attention snapped towards the party's hostess. Another fleeting thought caused her to laugh. "Well, maybe not."

Relieved that his inattention hadn't caused the other harm, Shiye started to nod, but winced as the shrill cry from the party's hostess sounded. Nope, no peace to be found here after all, it seemed.
Focusing on the female Wini before him, he huffed and forced a smile at her comment. "Apparently not. Well, not boring anyway it seems. So much for a little peaceful fun," he quipped with a good-natured roll of his eyes. Some part of his brain commented that it could be much worse, so he should just roll with the nonsense and let the others have their fun.
Another part of his brain chimed in that he'd become a heck of a stick in the mud.
"Eh, I'm sure they'll work it out among themselves shortly," he started to comment about the time a crimson blur burst from the kitchen. He knew that look; the look of eager battle lust, hungry for violence. Resisting the urge to smack his paw against his face, he added in a deadpan, "Or, maybe it'll just get worse."

Typically brawling was a party foul in Keira's book. It usually meant the end of the party. But still, she couldn't deny how entertaining a fight could be. That is, as long as she wasn't involved. This one seemed to involve intoxication which made her wonder where they were hiding the booze. Another rumble from her stomach reminded her snacks first. Maybe there's some popcorn around here...
"Would be a shame if it were to escalate, you think?" she commented, half-hoping it would. It would bring some life to this party at least. Maybe she did crash the right party tonight.
"By the way, I'm Keira," she said as she looked around the male to see if the snacks were perhaps in paws reach.

Shiye nodded in agreement, though he feared that was exactly what might be about to happen. Still, for a simple drunken brawl, it seemed there were already enough claws in this fight. No use adding more. Best to just make sure it didn't spread or draw other innocents in. Like his new friend here.
"Pleasure," he bowed his head briefly to the female Wini, adding, "My name is Shiye. Perhaps best we keep our distance from the chaos, hmm?" He smiled, smoothly turning to place himself between Keira and the nearby scuffle. He said nothing about the subtle action, only followed her gaze curiously. "Are you hungry? There do seem to be a number of refreshments available. Doesn't seem like many are concerned with them at the moment. We shouldn't have to fight a crowd," he chuckled softly, gesturing towards the snack table with a paw.

Keira laughed at Shiye. "Awesome. Didn't want to have to arm wrestle you for some of those delicious looking ... what are those?" she questioned, lifting a brow at some of the things set out. She inched closer and poked the things that looked like orange wedges. They jiggled. But they looked like oranges.
She picked one up and sniffed it. "Here, try this," she says holding one of the orange wedges up to Shiye's mouth. It didn't smell bad, but she had to make sure it wasn't poison. Or worse, something gross.
For now, she was sufficiently distracted from the ensuing brawl.

Smiling a bit more easily now, Shiye glanced over some of the brightly colored things on the table. "Not sure," he commented, thinking now about how long it'd been since he'd actually been at something like a party. Eating for survival from day to day tended not to be the same as eating fancy things at a party. They always seemed to be extra colorful and extravagant with no other purpose but entertainment, he thought.
He was surprised to find an orange...something shoved in his face a moment later. He blinked all three eyes at it in confusion, then glanced towards Keira...then back to the triangular orange wedge. A cursory sniff told him little except that it could be something sweet. Holding little suspicion for the food that was being provided by another koi Wini as host, he figured it safe enough to try.
Besides, the hybrid was only familiar with alcohol in the liquid form, found in bottles. Not in such innocent, creative forms.
Taking the offered morsel, he noted the strange texture as he curiously chewed and swallowed. "Sweet," he noted, unable to place the flavor otherwise. Not exactly like an orange, like the fruit, despite the color and shape. Just...sweet. He didn't notice anything 'off' about it, shrugging it off as a strangely-textured sweet. Reaching up to the table, he quickly popped another into his mouth, then as if on a belated thought, reached for another to offer to Keira. "Want to try?"

Keira watched closely for signs of death or disgusting tasting food. He seemed to like them, so maybe they were okay. She plucked the slice from his paw when he offered. She sniffed it again before tasting it. It tasted like orange candy jelly, so she quickly ate the slice and reached for another. "Is good."
Scanning the table for something else to go with the orange jelly, she located a bowl of popcorn. "Ah ha!" Stretching because taking two extra steps was apparently too much effort, she hooked a claw on the bowl, only spilling some of it, before dragging it back. "Look!" she plopped the bowl down in front of Shiye, pleased with herself.
"What do ya suppose they're fighting over?" she asked between a pawful of popcorn and a pawful of orange jello slices. Man, these orange things just keep getting tastier.

Chuckling in agreement, he took another as she reached for a bowl. Okay, he recognized popcorn at least, even if it had been a while. Sweet and salty...not a bad combination for party food.
"I don't know exactly, but I can make a guess," he answered, only glancing over for a moment before returning his attention to his companion and the food. "The big red one's been into the drinks, I believe, a little hard already tonight. He's been getting louder and louder for a while and I think irritating some of the ladies. Okay, and the gentlemen," he added with an amused shake of his head. He impaled a few pieces of popcorn on his claws, reflecting on this turn of events as he popped them into his mouth. Alright, it had been reasonably quiet for a while...but though there was a bit of a scuffle disturbing the peace, he doubted anyone was going to be seriously hurt. And he'd found someone pleasant to talk to as well as having snacks to share. Not a bad direction for the evening.
He started alternating as she was between the salty and the sweet, beginning to relax for the first time since he got here, and even...perhaps...enjoying himself. "So..." he started after a few more treats, "aside from oranges and popcorn, what else had this party offered that drew you here?"

Rheagar stumbled back as he was head butted by the one called Tatsu. Everything went out of focus as he wobbled around trying to stay on his feet. He never seen Lycenia hovering over him as his eyes were focused ahead. He heard shouts and wails from surrounding demons but never knew exactly from who. Edit: forgot to tag yas D;
