"Come on, you know I don't force myself onto people. I just show my love"

With the sun being at a beautiful fall into an autumn afternoon, Yatsuda smiled wryly for a bit as he headed for his destination, box in hand. He wasn't called for any training to be needed, and having gotten to know his demons a little bit, from the sadistic and demanding Curran to the trickery and cunning Pixie to the harsh Xi Wangmu, he felt he was a better summoner than before he had met the Grand Summoner. It did take careful consideration at every turn to make sure he did not end up a blood splatter for his demons to feast upon, but each moment did lead him to learn his demons more, even if it is a bit.
"Hopefully she is here today..." Yatsuda spoke to himself as he handled the box with care, not shifting it around carelessly. It did take him several hours, and several tries, to get it this far, so messing it up was out of the question."Gra- I mean, Great Summoner Kyouji, are you home?" Yatsuda called out, hoping that he would get an answer. If not, he could just come back at another time.

The explosion still rang in her ears. The force had jolted her awake, and Matsuri found her hands trembling when she brushed ebony locks away from her face. That had been the most vivid dream she had ever had...and it hadn't been a nice one. Like all dreams, only pieces of it remained with her...but the one she remembered the most and all too well was that few moments before waking up. The hollow click of the revolver, Set's look of relief as he turned to look at her with those clear eyes of his...her own relief at seeing him alive after those stressful seconds. And then... the hiss of air being sucked into the other room as the door opened, her senses going overboard...her legs working as fast as possible to push Set as far as from there as she could. The heat, the blaring noise. Then...nothing.

Eyes focused on the dim room and the figures spread across the large room and she let out a heavy sigh. Right. They had been staying at Kyouji Kuzunoha's estate. Sera and her companion had found refuge there and had told them about it. The Lady Kuzunoha had received them attentively, and had given them important information. It was actually impressive how quickly people in this time were aware of their arrival, but...she digressed. It was a good place to stay before they could find something more permanent. Before they could work and do what they had come here to do.

She could hear the faint snores and even breathing of the people still sleeping. How early --or late-- it was, she wasn't even sure. And she didn't care. Eyes landed on the sleeping figure of her companion, his snowy hair covering his closed eyes. There was a pang on her chest. She couldn't explain how relieved she was to see him there. To know that things were...back to normal. Even then, guilt slipped into her heart at the memory of the dream. There, her secret had been discovered...and she had hated the look on his face. That look of betrayal. She would have to tell him. Maybe that dream had been her subconscious's sick way to tell her she couldn't keep secrets anymore. Only that... it hadn't felt like a normal dream. It had felt... more real.

Without thinking, her fingers brushed so very lightly over Set's pale cheek, before she turned and stood up, rolling up her futon. There was no sign of their hostess, but Matsuri was fine with that at the moment. She didn't want to talk with anyone... she didn't want to encounter anyone. She...just... needed some time to think. Her steps were light and soundless as she walked through the room, avoiding stepping on the other couple sleeping soundly. Mati couldn't help shaking her head at the sight: Sera and Koichi were a tangle of arms and legs, the pinkette sleeping almost (or mostly) on top of her boyfriend as if she didn't have a care in the world. For a second, Matsuri envied them, before shaking the thought aside. Even if Set and she were that close...they would never be that chaotic while resting.

She caught her own train of thought and her cheeks tainted a faint pink. What was she even thinking? Taking her gaze away from the couple, she walked out of the door and to the courtyard...where she took a seat, looking at the sky and structure of the house. She just...needed some time to think. To wash away the aftertaste of the dream.

Sreze Murakami & Ikazuchi

"Ahahahaha! Snow! Snow everywhere!"

Sreze looked up from his book as he heard Ikazuchi call out, and smiled softly as the small demon girl frolicked in the snow. Sometimes he had a hard time remembering she was actually a demon, but her horns quickly reminded him.

"Are you sure you don't need warm clothes? It's cold out here."

"Of course I don't! I'm not some weak, human child! The cold barely has any affect on me!"

He himself was wrapped up in a blanket, as he leaned his back against one of the building's support pillars, one leg up on the porch, one dangling off the edge. It might not have looked it, but it was quite comfortable.

"Alright, if you're sure, but if it starts to get too cold, go look around inside, I'm sure someone left a pair of gloves or something behind."

It had been quite busy here for a while, but over the last two months things had become quiet. He quite liked it this way. Still, he felt bad, aside from the one fight up on the hilltop, which he thankfully hadn't gotten in trouble for when reporting, Sreze hadn't done anything since moving to Inaba.

His training was going well, he believed, he felt his ability to keep a summon active for longer periods of time was growing, just by doing simple things like keeping Ikazuchi out with him at times like this. But it wasn't enough, he wanted to learn, to become stronger, and to help out more.

"Maybe I could talk to Kyouji, she might have something for me to do."

Snapping his book shut, he stood, groaning softly at stiff muscles, from the cold.

"Come, Ikazuchi, we're going inside."

The demon girl was about to complain, but just let out a "Hmph!" and pouted instead, following Sreze as he moved into the home he had been welcomed into. He didn't know where Kyouji was, but he could probably find someone who did.
