 He was so slow now: Faster seethed. But Might's caws pulled focus out of him and settled them on a goose nearby: there. Could he do it? Yes, he thought he could. Yes, he'd been wonderful at this once. Not unparalleled, but, well...who was?

Fewer geese had been killed so far than Faster had thought: he was clearly not thinking clearly. He'd track this next one, then; it should not be so hard. Faster was quite a skilled tracker, and Might was better: he'd give his gryphon that.

Above was amazed at how the others were taking out the geese. It seemed like she was the only one being gentle with them. Shrugging, she went for another, looking for something to tie them together

It dawned on Surprise that she should care about counting how many geese she had killed, but couldn't. All of the fun was in the chase.
She she set her sights on a particularly plump goose and pranced after it, horns at the ready.
