Gora's curiosity had gotten the best of her, and she walked up to the door that was calling to her. the door was noticeably shorter than all the other doors but was still taller than she was she put her scaled hand to the door and felt it, gently running her hand across the polished wood finish, it was strange, the door was made of wood, but put off the illusion that it was iron when looking from a distance, the knob was solid brass and had an ornate engraving of a dragon on it. she opened the door cautiously and looked inside of the room and to her surprise, it was empty, all save for one door at the back of the room, and it looked exactly like the one she was holding open. she slowly walked into the room and nothing happened, so she carefully walked up to the door on the opposite side of the room, she inspected it carefully, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary the room was still empty and the doors were still there, so she opened the door and looked inside the next room. it was exactly the same, she shrugged off the oddity and walked back in the direction she came from, and opened the door that was meant to go back into the lobby, but it was just another room that looked exactly like the one she was in, her eyes widened in surprise and she slowly closed the door she knew she was trapped so she picked a door and started walking I'm that direction, the rooms all exactly alike, and the doors leading right back to them even more so, she just walked door what seemed like hours with no luck, hoping that she would get help soon.

Et le garçon? Marie thought. Tristan was gone, well, not entirely. One of his fans remained at Marie's feet. Without ever letting go of her torch, she kneeled down to pick up the fan. Je suis seule autrefois plus, mais óu est-il allé?
She knew she couldn't defend herself if anymore of those grotesque looking creatures spawned from the stone walls. She kept the fan so that if she were to meet Tristan again, she'd return it to him. Marie faced the wall Tristan disappeared from, and effortlessly tried to push it forward, hoping it'd reveal a secret pathway.
There was no way out of here. The way she came in was too steep for anyone to climb out of. There were no resources. If she didn't escape soon, she would die out of dehydration. She tensed herself to prevent from sobbing.
Sebastian is no where to be found. Tristan's vanished along with the others who were here previously. Soon, a shadowy, thick, violet mist echoed the walls of the cave with a subtle hiss. The smoke gradually crept towards Marie who didn't even care because she knew she was doomed anyway. As the fog slowly replaced the air around her, she became more lightheaded and dizzy. She started to lose consciousness. The violet smoke was taking over her, but as bad as it got, she never let go of the fan. She blacked out.
Waking up felt pleasant. She was laying on top of soft sand warmed by the heat of the sun. The light glared in her eyes for a moment until she adjusted. She basked in the rays of the sun for a while, trying to captivate her new surroundings. Ahead of her, was a beautiful ocean that stretched beyond the horizon. Looking up, there was a clear, blue sky without a cloud in sight. The air fragranced of fresh salt water. Behind her landscaped a jungle full of vegetation and life. Palm trees cut through the sky with abundant supplies of bananas. The plant life was so strong, she could hardly make out what was beyond the greenery with no more than a few yards. When she look down though, she smiled.
The fan was still clutched in her hand. This gave her proof that all the events that occurred were real. She wasn't insane. Marie would find a way to return to the castle, because it existed, and the fan gave her hope. It arose a motivation to be more self reliant--to grow her confidence.
She whipped the hairband and clips out of her hair that held it in a sophisticated bun. Her locks of golden blonde hair swayed to her waist, catching drift in the occasional salty wind. She brushed her fringe from her forehead, creating a sweep of hair from the left side of her forehead to the right. Her bright, blue eyes danced with the light of the sun, making them glow. She smirked, and walked towards the shore. Maybe she could prosper something from there.

Gora Swiftclaw D: why is nobody posting anymore!?, I would post but i left my character in a position where it requires input from somebody else... I just started a job and it's been hard to post on gaia lately. I also usually don't remember to respond unless I've been quoted and occasionally gaia eats those notifications. Edit: Also, I haven't been responded to either. o.o I'll quote the person and repost.

Marcus snapped out of whatever trance he was in only to notice a man staring at him- and two other people- expectantly. A question was asked. What was the question? More to the point, what the actual hell was happening? Marcus was about to open his mouth to say something when the question that was asked popped back into his head: Who are all of you?"That was a good question. Marcus' mouth gaped open as he tried to remember his name, but one of the doors seemed to be calling out to him. In his mind he tried to back away but the place was reaching, grabbing, shaking him. "Marcus," he intoned, surprising himself. Was that his name? He was pretty sure it was. Yes, it was. Am I hungover? I couldn't be; I haven't been near civilization in a while. Was I... was I drugged?

(( Hey, guys. I'm just letting you know that I've been super busy with school and work. I haven't had many opportunities to log on, and I could only log on for like five minutes today. Please continue if you guys like! I'll catch up as soon as I can. Just shove my character off into the corner and I'll figure something out. ))
