Peeking around Finn, Ripley would suddenly find himself with a kitty-Fini as she pawed at his suit. "My, my. Looking so classy tonight~" She purred, feeling quite good for once. Her mind might have been growing a tiny bit fuzzy and where had she snagged the new drink from?!
Finn, why were you not watching her intently?
Ohey look at Shiloh! Fini giggled, snapping her teeth towards Shiloh. He was a duck. She was a cat.
That meant something, right?

Fuzzy was a definition they both could both agree on right now deep down. There was nothing really going on but the buzz of music, the buzz of his drink. Vibrating through his body as they spoke.
His head tilted watching as she seemed to pause, annoyed even, his face frowning slightly. "S'not a big deal ya? We aren't full hunters right? We got lots of things to do later till we are full hunters and stuff and have to declare." His frown grew bigger as she continued talking, he almost could agree with her on the whole attracting bad things. His was less the monsters, and more bringing out the worst in others. Rep's anger, Tuck, Nevada. He took a drink as well when Stormy did.
"You wana talk about it...?" His voice was quieter and slightly concerned.

Yes, where had Fini gotten another drink from already? Clearly Finn couldn't take his eyes off of her for a second. With a small, barely noticeable head shake, he stopped dancing to turn his attention towards Ripley . "Niiiiiiice suit! Lookin sharp, Ripples!" Why yes, he would just call him by the same little nick name Otto seemed to have for him. At the question of what he himself was dressed as, however, Finn just gave the other man a long, flat stare (let's face it, though, it wasn't much different from his normal stare.) "Well, Ripley, believe it or not, I am Finn. The human." He smiled, eyes still cold as ever, knowing full well he hadn't been very helpful at all. "And what are you supposed to be? A walking fresh corpse straight out of the funeral casket?" Hey, he was pale enough! Attention back to Fini, he narrowed eyes at the drink in her hand. Was she trying to get drunk? "Don't suppose you would slow down on the alcohol if I told you to, would you?" Of course she wouldn't, which was why even as he said it, he made a quick grab for the cup to steal it away from her (and to down himself if he got ahold of it, if only to protect her from rapid inebriation).

"Time, sure, to die some more. Wait--Nope," she answered resolutely, her brows drawn further downward. "We're not supposed t'be talking about work anyway, you..." Why discuss bad feels when there were good feels to be had? "Actually, know what? Hold on."
kurotomato Text to Galehey slowpokemon kurotomato Text to GaleGaledilockssssss kurotomato Text to Galehey yuo should come 2 dorm basement 4 the party kurotomato Text to GaleI wanana dance with you~ kurotomato Text to GaleEven have spy suit on ; ) That was a lie, but in her mind it was a small one. A necessary one to try and get what she wanted.
"Soak up the good vibes now," she told Roland as she pocketed her phone, absentmindedly filling her cup up again. "Or drink up. Or dance up. Can--Can you do all've that at once, y'think?"
Meanwhile, Jack had been mixing dancing and drinking himself, though he had stopped the latter some time before; he didn't feel like getting fall on his a** drunk both in public and among strangers. Or in a dungeon basement for that matter. He had a mild buzz instead, enough to make him more receptive to loosening up without quite making him sleepy.
At least Chel was good company, in the free spirited sort of way. Jack wasn't a dancer really, but it didn't mean he couldn't get into his moves when the songs called for it (and right now it really didn't), and with the gal grinding, well...what could he say other than joining in every once in a while? He heard bits of other conversations float around him but didn't deign to really pipe in other than to greet Fini with a distracted flick of his wrist.
"This selection is awful," he said to Chel, despite still mouthing the lyrics in snippets. "I have to ask what we're doing, celebrating Halloween. Shouldn't we be burning some effigy to show the 'passion of our contempt for their kind' or something?"
He kept stealing glances at the pair of Mists.

Okay that one totally got Fini. It took her a full minute to place the reference before she started laughing. Sorry, Ripley! She'd never look at you the same after that! Maybe next time, a Superman costume would be more appropriate?
Not that she said any of this out loud. Too busy laughing. And then pouting adorably at Finn when he stole her drink. Because she hadn't been paying as close attention on it as she should have. A good thing, really.
"Hell no!" She replied brightly, though she didn't try to steal it back - not that anything would be left - nor did she mysteriously find a new one.
Not yet anyways.

"Who ********' knows and who ********' cares," Chel shouted over the music, waving her hands in the air like she just don't care. Chel didn't ever need a justifiable reason for a party. She was good with anything.
She noticed Jack's distraction- after all, it was pretty obvious. "Oy you got a crush or somethin'?" She looked over at Stormy and Roland. "Which one? The girl's pretty cute, but the guy's got rugged charm. I mean really either-"
Chel then noticed Milo in the crowd (albeit, covered with a mask. She just knew it was him okay. Magic.) "Eyyy dance my way reddy!" She also took the opportunity to text a friend.inle-roo Text to Evan: yo MIA boy party in the dungeon get yo a** down here lol ol-j-man makes things x10 more awkward

Charming. That was both a plus, and a minus. But Shiloh's recommendations were the word of God to Maebe, so she gave Ian a chance, smirking faintly at the kiss on the cheek. "I'm ironic." She told Shiloh. That was her costume choice. And she wasn't about to explain it. "And you're a little drunk." She wasn't complaining, just informing. She took a very long sip of her cup, and gave Ian a long look, before putting her cup down. "Okay." She murmured under her breath, taking Ian by the hand and giving Shiloh a faint shrug, before turning back to the man. "Come on. You're dancing with me." It was not a request. She dragged Ian to the dance floor, drink and all.

Ian smiled a little, tugging the drink away to take a swallow himself - at least until he felt warm fingers covering his own, and the Shiloh had redirected the cup from his hands and had moved it to his own lips. Ian arched a brow, amused in spite of himself as he rolled his eyes.
An amusement that was short lived at Finn's comment. Ian slid a glance towards the other, glaring slightly, until he remembered that he wasn't quite supposed to act like a protective boyfriend because said boyfriend was supposed to be a secret.
He glanced back at Shiloh, wondering what that look was for, but before he could ask, Shiloh was out on the dance floor and Ian gave a snort of laughter that was not entirely concealed behind one of his hands, Ian tapping a finger against the plastic cup in his hand and shaking his head.
"You're ridiculous," he called, but there was affection in his voice. He turned his head towards the one called Maebe and smiled. Ian cast one glance behind him at Shiloh, shrugging slightly before he followed Maebe out onto the dance floor. He took one last, enormous swallow, downed the rest, and tossed the empty cup over his shoulder before he took Maebe by her hands, smiling brightly at her.
"Shall we?" he said, and slipped his hands onto her waist, swaying to the music.

Gale was there within moments.
"What," he said, coming up behind Stormy. His eyes fell on the cup in her hand, the pleasantly pink flush to her cheeks. "are you doing?" He squinted at her. "What are you drinking? Is that alcohol?"
A short pause.
"Are you...drunk?"

"Ridiculously awesome," Shiloh said, very loudly, having apparently forgotten his indoor voice. He squinted at the two of them, watching as they stepped onto the dance floor. Then he was grinning, happy the two closest people to him on the island were getting along. Life was great, he thought, and he waved them away to enjoy their dance, even though they both were likely not to see it. Shortly after, he noticed his cup was mysteriously empty, and he began moseying his way back towards the refreshment table. Instead of grabbing a cup, this time he just grabbed the whole bottle.

The mask in question was soon shifted to rest on the side of his head. It was getting hard to breathe and well, it didn't make drinking beverages any easier. Which Milo had gone after soon after the dancing had concluded. What he grabbed, the teenager had no idea but it was alcohol and this was a party and perhaps it was best not to question. It had a strong kick to it though, burned a little going down but he wasn't going to be a pansy and set it done. Nope!
Milo's attention perked when he noticed someone calling him over, and a wide smirk spread on his face when he realized just who it was. Dance her way? Well, sure, even if Ghostbusters didn't really have dance to it that he knew of. He'd make do, with a little swagger in his step, making his way past other people and right to the pink haired girl. "Sup, ZyuPink?" Yeah, that nickname was going to stick for now. "Looking rather classic tonight." His grin was still present. And even as he noticed Jack was present too. Not that he hated the guy or anything.
"Yo, green giant." He greeted with a small salute as he moved to the music.

Nevada downed another drink, her smile widening even a bit more as she felt the dance floor suddenly tighten. There was something great about being in a group of people dancing, something that just made it better to let go.
Or maybe it was the booze.
She made sure to keep an eye on Stormy though, and while she was feeling buzzed, she did register her friend was talking with Roland...Which was none of her business.
It even went as far as to trailing over to Jack and Chelsea, where she squinted at Jack's unneeded attention on her best friend. She took a careful sip again. She'd trust Stormy to at least continue ignoring Jack, but if the latter made a move, she'd shoot him on spot.
Another sip, and she was back to smiling, attempting to coax Otto into at least shaking what his mama gave him.

Finn had downed the drink, indeed, leaving only maybe a half a sip behind. It hadn't been all that great and he had to fight not to make a face. It had burned going down, and now gave him a warm feeling in the pit of his stomach. He still had no idea what he had just consumed, but he knew his alcohol tolerance was fairly high....or at least had been prior to deus....so he wasn't particularly worried about getting drunk right off the bat. Maybe it was just timing, but Finn had caught the slight glare given by the mist trainee with Shiloh. He mentally shrugged it off, refusing to look too far into it, but the shameless smart a** that couldn't keep his mouth shut directed a comment Ian's way anyways. "Hey, you can come too, if you want. Give me that cuddle lesson you promised?" He was very good at making cuddle sound like so much more then just that, ending with a "Never been one to turn down a threesome." Of course he was joking. If it wasn't obvious enough that he was there with Fini, and probably at least 75% straight. He was also now chuckling and shaking his head, and setting the practically empty cup down carefully on top of Fini's head.

The music soon quieted to something more creepy and ambient and America ceased her dancing with a look of keen anticipation. From under the refreshment...table, she grabbed up two hand-crank lanterns that flickered an eerie blue in the darkness. She may have borrowed them from Kostya. Clearing her throat she began dramatically, "An now we get to the first game of the night...the Courage Test. This here basement used to be a for reals dungeon long ago. It's only recent that they're havin people live down here at all, and there's plenty of empty rooms to explore." Solemnly she gazed down into pitch black of the hallway past the phone lights and the two lanterns. "For this Test, two of you go at a time, taking a lantern each, and explore as many rooms as you dare. When you can't bear to continue, come back here and tell us what you've found. Then the next brave soul will take up the lantern and the challenge." America stared at the, eyes dark and gleaming as she smiled, "So...who are the first two brave enough to try?" Dungeon Explorers Only two people can go at a time. You can come back at any point when your character is free to do so. Then the next person can go using your character's lamp. Roll 1d100: the results are what you find in the room, if you get a (1 room only) prompt that's already been used, go to the next viable prompt (up or down.) There's dark stains all over the room. 11-15: An iron maiden sits in the center of the room. 16-20: You find Rep's hoard, which has been moved down to the basement. Hundreds of maggots the size of small cats are crawling over the contents. In a fit of pique, Dr. H had the entirety of the room moved down to the basement, rather than disposing of the rotting meat and experiments. The maggots move closer to you. (1 room only)Amateur Maggot Farm HP: 333 Initial autodamage: 1 Extra: they do increasing DoT. For every roll you make, any roll, the auto damage increases by 1 point. As you see yourself, a dark whisper touches your mind, silencing your weapon. You find yourself triumphant on top of a writhing sea of dying mortal bodies. Moments later you find yourself outside the room. You do not remember what was inside it. For a week, you have strange nightmares that you cannot recall. (1 room only) 71-75: The room is empty, but you notice an infinity symbol has been carved into a wall. Closer inspection shows the huge symbol was formed by thousands upon thousands of tiny knife marks. It must have taken years. (1 room only)76-80: Dusty boxes, this room looks like a normal storage room. 81-90: There's movement inside the room, but you can't find the source. 91-100: You can hear the sad cries of partially melted minipets first, followed by a low buzzing that grows closer. Large eggs and maggots the size of small children rest upon the floor. There's a few bodies piled nearby, a few you may recognize from missions gone wrong. In one corner you find a sad sight. The music changed and things were happening. Stuff and things that captured Finn's attention with words like courage and dungeon and explore. All he really heard though, was adventure, and despite telling Fini earlier that he'd had enough of that to last him for a good long while, the pull of it was far too strong. Probably his awesome hat telling him he needed to do this. "Okay, Sunshine, you're not an orange dog named Jake but you'll have to do in a pinch, because now it's god damn Adventure Time." He grabbed for her feline gloved hand and booted it across the room towards the two lanterns, dropping her hand when they reached america and grabbing first one to pass to Fini, and then taking the other for himself. He wouldn't be able to hold her hand down the dark passageway, but whatever. Hero's didn't need to hold hands with anybody anyways. Keeping near the woman, or at least, making sure she stayed with him, they were well on there way down the hall, leaving everyone else behind. He held his lantern up swinging it from side to side, reading the numbers on each door and looking for.... Ah, there we go. B69~ So while the childish part of him was highly amused and possibly snickering to himself, Finn nudged Fini with an amused grin and reached over to open the door to see what was beyond. This better be a chamber full of some really weird and kinky s**t. Instead what he was greeted with was a vastness he hadn't quite anticipated. Was this how big rooms were down here because holy s**t. Except then he noticed it was...kind of cave like which gave him chills even as he stepped inside, squinting towards the other end where it looked as though something white was sitting. He felt..strangely compelled to move forward to investigate what it could be, no longer even really paying attention to the woman that was following behind him. As he drew near, he saw that what he had first caught glimpse of was, in fact, a throne sitting upon a dais. It took him a few more steps and a lot more squinting to make out the fact that it was....made of bones? The urge to continue forward was stronger now, a compulsion that was too strong to deny. He moved forward, and without even thinking it through for an instant, set down his lantern on the floor and reached out towards the throne, turning to sit upon it.... A dark whisper, and Trynt's warning snarls, which he'd been ignoring anyways, had vanished. An image then came into focus, of bodies writhing below him, an entire sea of them, as far as his eyes could follow. He felt triumphant as he looked down on them all, a smirk spreading across his face, his eyes colder then ever as he basked in his victory..... .....Finn was standing outside of a door, a feeling of unease suddenly balling up into the pit of his stomach. B69...that was the one he had been searching for, but now he just...didn't feel like going inside. Turning towards Fini, he gave her a one shouldered shrug. "Nothing's jumped out at us, yet. Where do you want to go?"
