Asher got into his own bumper car and waited for the signal to start moving. Once everyone began, he took aim at Leo's car and proceeded to make the first strike. He might have to be silent if he was to avoid his brother's attacks.

At first the sudden crash against his car startled him, it was a lot more of a 'bump' than he had anticipated but he had to remember that it was just a ride and that nobody was going to get hurt. Leo laughed and grabbed his wheel, circling around to try and find his brother, but he was correct in assuming the volume once everything started moving, he couldn't tell which one was his brother's car. Leo drove the car around, bumping into everything it seemed. Even if he didn't bump into his brother's car he was still having fun.

Asher had kept an eye on Leo's car, and was rather surprised that the younger had landed more hits on him than the other way around. He was actually driving pretty well, at least as a bumper car driver. The elder would have to tell him later. Forgetting about staying silent, he let out a laugh as he turned and crashed into Leo's car again.

Leo could hear his brother laughing which was followed by a crash to his car. He turned his wheel and tried to crash back into Ash but as soon as he got close the car stopped as did the sounds from the other cars. Leo listened a bit confusedly, trying to figure out what was going on but then he heard the conductor instruct everyone to exit the ride in an orderly fashion. He was a bit disappointed that the ride had ended already but at the same time Leo was also starting to get a little tired.

The bumper cars stopped seemingly all too soon, and luckily for Asher, because Leo had been very close to hitting him. Getting up from his vehicle, he went over to Leo and helped him out. "I have to admit you kinda won the bet," he said as they left the bumper car arena. "You look a little winded there. Tired already?"

Leo accepted his brothers help and stood up on his own. "Yeah I'm a little tired. I think we should go to the store now and get something for dinner." he said softly, turning around to get his toys back from inside car and stumbling a little on the car but he quickly grabbed the plushies before standing back up again. "Okay, I'm ready. Lets get going. What should we make for dinner?"

"We still have some spaghetti leftovers, though maybe we should get some ingredients for some kind of soup. How does split pea sound to you?" Asher asked. Before leaving, he decided on going to maybe the final stand they would visit. Once he got to the cashier, he paid for two elephant ears, which turned out to be pastries. "Try this," he said while handing one to Leo. He then took a bite of his own pastry. It had a nice cinnamon flavor.

Leo took the large pastry and ripped a piece off instead of biting the big fried piece of dough. He took a bite and smiled. "It's sweet!" he said happily, munching on the elephant ear as they headed out of the fair. "Hmm, it's not cold enough for soup....what about soup and sandwiches? We can get soup in the cans and then make grilled cheese!" he suggested, thinking it sounded a suitable dinner for the night since it was just the two of them and this way they could each get the soup they wanted.

"Sounds like a solid plan," Asher said. He took a look at a nearby clock and noticed it was merely the early afternoon. "Looks like we still have a bit of time before dinner. Want to get some lunch, maybe? We can go back to that diner, if you want." So far, their day had been generally good, though it certainly wasn't the best. It was at least good enough in that Asher really didn't want to go back to work in the next day.

Leo thought about it a minute or two, the diner had been nice but he decided that it was about time he called it a day. "Maybe we can still go to the store but just make dinner later. I'm kind of tired and a nap before dinnertime sounds good." he said softly as he continued to munch on his elephant ear enthusiastically.

"I guess a rest is all we need," Asher commented more to himself than to Leo. They made their way to the nearest grocery store, where Asher bought some bread, cheddar cheese, and some eggs. Some milk was also added to his mental grocery list. "What soup would you like?" he asked as he picked up a couple of split pea soup cans.

Leo traveled with his brother to the store where he actually felt safe enough to let go of the man's arm. It was just about the only public place his brother was okay with letting Leo go of him for the time being. "Hmmm.....Tomato. I think today is a tomato and grilled cheese day." he decided rather quickly, helping his brother by carrying a few of the items in his arms. They decided that since they didn't need to get too many things for the house that they shouldn't need a cart to pile the food into.

Once Leo had decided, Asher grabbed some cans of tomato soup. Figuring that they had everything they needed, at least for the next few days, they proceeded to the checkout, where the cashier, who had seen the brothers many times and was no longer bothered by Leo's bandages, just scanned their items and told them the total price while Asher paid. They then made their way back to the apartments to rest until it would be time to cook dinner.

Leo followed his brother back home, helping him carry some of the bags as well. It was a good thing they didn't live too far away from the grocery store, it made quick trips simple and easy for the two of them. Once they reached the apartments again he could hear the sound of a car but it sounded much bigger, like a commercial truck. "Who's here?" he asked curiously as he heard a couple older men talking to each other going in and out of the apartment a few doors down from them. "Are we getting new neighbors?"

Asher had not noticed the truck until Leo pointed it out, and upon seeing the men he could conclude that they were movers. "Yeah, it looks like it. Maybe we should greet them once we put away the food," he replied as he once again fumbled for the apartment keys. "Sure hope they're friendly. Would be nice to actually have a friend here or something." Once he got his keys and unlocked the door, he held it open for Leo to get through before he himself followed.
