Umbra then turned towards Max "no...but with the information i've received from Miss Ellise they seemed t have grown in strength" he said referring to the kishin.

+ Null Zone: with his powers Umbra can great a zone that nulls all abilities this Zone is revealed by a black aura that covers the ground, it must connect to Umbra of course, when he does this it basically surrounds him, if anyone moves into this zone they are rendered unable to use powers, weapons can stay in their forms, but cant activate anything, miesters are stuck only with their weapons, Black Blood and madness seem to shrink down as if they were disappearing, but of course they are not, the only down fall of this ability is that when using this, he can not use any of his powers, since he is in the zone constantly when activated he must rely on his blades to defend himself,(those who are outside the zone can use magic and magic can go through the zone as long as the caster isn't touching inside the zone. another flaw is that this zone can only reach 40 feet around him. (this is meant to make people actually fight him and not..well use their advantage of powers..we can say its the one ability to make everyone almost Human lol) + Wings of Death: as one would see he has wings which seem very faded yet when looked closely seem like they are simply ghostly bones, but in fact is a death aura that is used to help Umbra move faster, this also allows him to levitate around, really despite being an death aura it doesn't hurt anyone rather if people try to attack it they will miss because it will go through as if it was mist. + Curse of the Heavens:this ability is more of a curse hence the name, it can not affect others because this curse is upon Umbra, this explains mostly of who Umbra is, because this is the whole reason behind why his memory is missing before he became a kishin. This Curse is one of the worst curses one could have because what it does is create utter emptiness within the reciprocate, Umbra, with this emptiness ones face will begin to disappear, and eventually nothing will appear, this will lead to many wearing a hood, this hood is the only thing left to hide the nothingness, as its own darkness f the shadow hides the reality of this part, not only will it do this, ones memory will begin to fade until nothing is left, ones memory is sealed away only to be released upon death. the third fault of this curse is that ones voice because a challenge, the voice is completely destroyed but at times a deep echoed voice will take the place of words, but even then it is rare to hear. + Blades of the Heavens: Umbra wields two weapons both of which are exactly alike, when he is fighting, can change the blades to two different elements, Darkness and light. when consumed by Darkness, the blades become Black even the actual blade part, they act the same way but in truth these blades allow Umbra to swing much quicker and harder, making it sound for Offensive. while on the other hand, Umbra can turn them White these are seen as Defensive, they do not move as quick as the black blades, but rather have their own attribute to defend against magic, or abilities well, it cant negate the power but it can lessen the amount of the magic to a good degree. + Crosses of Diablo: as one would picture crosses being the symbol of heaven and good, but these are different, they are what would find hell. they are pure dark energy, rather its concentrated making it much stronger and more dangerous then normal darkness many could muster. Umbra can fire Crosses at enemies, they go in a straight shot, they are fired from the palms of Umbra, and seem to increase size as they move, + Scythe Blade Enraged Fusion Seal:Umbra using the two weapons as matched as they are can bring them together to create a circle, this Circle soon creates what is to be a energy field, as time continues with this circle, the energy field becomes darker,only to become a dark red color, this attack makes everything seem to shake as if an earthquake is happening all of the sudden. in Umbra's view the target must be within the circles view, when this all happens the dark red disappears and appears under the target with what seems like runes and words under them, soon to follow red light which will surround them, this entire event is meant to act like a seal, it can withstand an army of attacks, and has captured many enemies before, powerful enemies. Herald watched as the two attacks collided, causing a whirlwind of damage that sent fire and brimstone in every direction. the light of the explosion reflecting in his eyes and talons. Herald was under no illusions about Atticus using the smoke as cover to launch an attack. Herald jumped up in the air, looking down to see the black slash go straight under him. He used his higher position to take a deep breath and this time launch a fury of successive blue fireballs straight towards the general area where Atticus had been. There will be nothing left of you by the end of this battle Atticus, Herald thought as he watched the fireballs tear towards the ground. Surprisingly, Herald was keeping his fury in check, but only for a short time. He felt his rage growing hotter and hotter as the battle continued. That and the thrill of combat. Something he couldn't resist...
Eric nodded at Max when he heard him. "Yeah that'd be-" he stopped suddenly when a section of the barrier slid open for them. "Actually, scratch that. Thanks though." He stepped inside the barrier, looking at the three girls and one other guy who was inside. Eric looked over at Max when he asked about the new girl. "That's Ellise. She's from an alternate world. Or something. Yeah, I think that's right. And she's an alternate form of ah..." he paused for a moment when he realized Ellise and Emma's wavelength's were exactly the same. "I was right. A French cat. She's an alternate form of Emma. I guess we all have alternates in the alternate world. Or most of us at least." He looked over at Emma and Shira. "So....are you two going to hate each other if one of them kills the other one?" He asked them, putting his hands in his pockets as he looked back at the battle.

☽ Emma heard another person tap on her barrier and she groaned "Why not invite the entire DWMA..." she muttered very quietly under her breath before the barrier opened again to let Blake in. Obviously she didn't look like she wanted to be talked to right now either. She just wanted to watch. Ellise looked at Max "Nice to meet you." she said with a small wave. "And yeah... we kind of discovered we were each others counterparts earlier." she told Eric with a small laugh. When Eric asked about whether or not Emma and Shira would hate each other, Shira glanced at him "I-I don't think so... at least I wouldn't." she said, looking at Emma then. Emma glanced back at the two "I have no reason to hate her." she said. She looked at the battle "I would like to think, when it comes to it, they will realize how stupid they are being in wanting to kill each other... and end up not doing it."☾
Once more, Herald had managed to evade his energy slash, Atticus expected nothing less from him, but he had been growing more and more angry as the battle continued. Just as the cloud of smoke vanished, Atticus felt an incredible amount of heat coming from above him. Looking up, he would see multiple blue fireballs coming down at him. Seeing this, Atticus smiled and transformed his back to normal, deciding to handle this without using his weapon blood. As the first fireball came at him, Atticus darted to the left, avoiding the fireball and causing it to hit the ground, resulting in the ground being blown up. For each fireball that came his way, Atticus did this, just narrowly avoiding the fireball's impact and causing them to collide into the ground. Each time a fireball would hit the ground, more and more pressure would build up, from the ground being blown up. All of this accumulated in Atticus standing still, surrounded by massive holes in the ground, however, the holes would suddenly erupt and spew lava up into the air. Atticus had used the field to his advantage, having Herald's attack, create massive lava geysers, all of which were aimed at Herald who was in the air and as if that wasn't enough, Atticus would use the lava as cover and make his way into the air, hiding from Herald's view.
Herald looked down through the smoke, hearing the impact of each fireball upon the ground. He realized from the sounds of the impacts that each one had missed Atticus. He growled slightly, preparing himself for Atticus to launch himself out of the smoke or the smoke to clear. He heard a slight rumbling sound and narrowed his eyes, wondering what kind of attack Atticus was pulling. He was caught completely unprepared for the geysers of lava that rushed out at him and realized his mistake the instant before the lava slammed into him, washing over him as he raised his arms to protect himself. After several moments of being covered by the continuous spray of lava, there was an explosion of resonance force as Herald launched himself free from it, sending drops of searing hot lava splattering in every direction. Several drops landed on the barrier, burning and hissing against it as if they were offended that they had been stopped before hitting the ground. Wisps of white smoke curled away from Herald's body and it was clear that he had been damaged by the intense heat. He growled angrily, spinning around as he sensed Atticus's wavelength close by in the air. "Well aren't you clever?" He growled.
Instead of attacking Atticus he let himself fall back to the ground, landing with earth shaking force. Herald took a deep breath again, but this one was much deeper than the last, his chest expanding massively before he looked up into the sky and released what seemed to be dozens and dozens of blue fireballs. They streamed from his mouth and up into the air. But instead of going for Atticus they began to fall again like fiery artillery shells onto the scorched earth. Everywhere they hit they exploded, cracking the surface and sending geysers of lava spraying up into the air until there were enough geysers to fill the sky. "Let's up the ante a little," he sneered, looking up at Atticus from the ground and what seemed like a virtual forest of lava geysers.

"Huh. Really? If I was one of you I would definitely kill the other one if that happened," Eric replied seemingly nonchalantly. When Umbra told Eric that not all alternates translated, Eric nodded. "I suppose that makes sense," he replied. "Some things obviously had to have happened differently, and you can't have such massive differences in two worlds without it affecting who's born and who's not or who lives and who dies..." He looked back to the battle as he saw Herald launch fireballs towards Atticus and saw Atticus dodge them only to play Herald's attack against him, spraying him with lava. Eric winced slightly as he saw the lava hit, imagining the pain that would cause. When Herald landed back down on the ground, Eric couldn't figure out what he was going to do. That is, until Herald launched his flare artillery. He followed several of the fireballs with his eyes, watching as one or two of them landed on their barrier shaking it and the ground below them with each hit. As the geysers of lava began to erupt around them, Eric gave a slight grin. "He's using Atticus's offensive trick defensively," he said, nodding at the geysers. "He wants to force Atticus into close-range combat so he created the geysers as a kind of cage or shield. If Atticus launches long-ranged attacks against him either from the air or from the ground, Herald will just position himself behind a geyser and let it take the hit for him."

Hopefully the ground wouldn't break below them and cause more geysers to erupt or they would be in some trouble. She looked at the battle again, smirking slightly as Herald was using some of his surroundings to his advantage. Shira looked back at Eric There is no point in killing each other though... Both of us didn't want this to happen." she said before looking at the ground "That would only cause more issues..."☾

Eric looked over at Shira and then back at Umbra. "Okay, fair enough." He looked over at Umbra then. "So I take it you're from the alternate world too?" He asked. "And if you are, do you have a counterpart in this world?"
While still being concealed by the lava, Atticus would be able to hear Herald growl angrily, as it would appear that his tactic from earlier, had worked and Herald had been damaged by the lava, but Atticus knew better than to think that a measly lava bath would be more than enough to take care of Herald. No, this fight was still just beginning neither one had been taking it that seriously, almost like they were just testing the waters before diving in. As he was still in the air, Atticus could hear Herald land on the ground, giving away his position, but before Atticus could react, Herald did something unexpected, he would use a strategy similar to Atticus' but on a much larger and powerful scale. Looking on as he unleashed dozens of blue fireballs into the air and had them rain down on the field, Atticus knew that Herald was up to something. It was only when each and every fireball hit the ground, which caused it crack, that he understood just what Herald had in mind. Suddenly, Atticus found himself surrounded by an vast sea lava geysers. Herald had severely limited his movements and made it so that Atticus would have to move in closer to strike, or Herald would just use the geysers as shields of some-sort to block his moves. As he stood in the air, contemplating on what his next move would be, Atticus smiled, "It seems that I underestimated the mutt." he muttered, before landing on the ground in front of Herald. Atticus had no choice but to face him in close combat. With his sword hand, Atticus launched himself forwards and attempted to slash Herald's torso.
UMBRA ___________________________________________________________ Umbra looked at Eric giving nothing but silence for a few seconds "that is correct i am from what you would call alternate world but to answer your question if i have a counterpart...i am unsure...i have no memory of my past before i became who i am...and to top it off..i havent sensed anything simular to my soul here...so i can best assume..i do not have an alternate here" he said he did have the habit of over explaining.

Never Again...
Herald laughed as he saw Atticus land. "Yes, come to me!" He roared, highlighted by the glowing geysers around them. "I'll tear you limb from limb and give you back to your shinigami girl a piece at a time!!" When Atticus launched himself forward, Herald did the same. "Beast Slash!" He yelled, slashing both claws across the air. Suddenly two resonance-powered slashes in the shape of Herald's claws shot forward towards Atticus. Whether or not they hit him, Herald would attempt to follow up with multiple slashes all across Atticus's body, allowing Atticus's slash to hit him in return.
Atticus said nothing as Herald did his usual trash talking and threatening, all of which, Atticus had heard before. As the two launched forwards at each other, Atticus' slash would hit Herald first, but it would prove useless as Herald seemingly shrugged it off and went on to unleash two claw shaped resonance powered slashes at him. Both of which hit Atticus head on, but it would Herald's follow up slashes on his body, that would cause the most damage to Atticus' body.
