Feeling like she was useless against this powerful Pokemon, Freunde knew she had to give it her all. Even landing one small attack might help the outcome. Another attack knocked the Pokemon off her stride, so Freunde took her chance, kicking her legs out in a Double Kick. She landed it, but it barely seemed to hurt the large opponent. Another hit, and Freunde knew she was nearly done for. This was tough stuff.

It was nice to see another helping fight the Gardevoir, especially when Callista was tiring. She knew that she had to keep fighting her hardest though, since they were all in danger.

As the Gardevoir was being distracted by a series of kicks, Callista started one last lunge at it.

Exhausted and unable to fight any more, the Feebas dropped to the ground, too weak to keep going.

The Feebas gave a final spurt of energy, but it was no use. The Gardevoir was too strong. Giving it one last shot herself, Freunde launched one more Scratch attack at the stronger Pokemon. She didn't have time to see if it did any damage, though: another powerful blast sent her backward, and she laid on the ground, staring up, panting for breath. She couldn't continue.

She was always looking at something. Either the blue Gardevoir, the other pokemon fighting against her, or a reoccurring illusion she kept seeing. Zoë squeezed her eyes shut. She couldn't take this anymore... She stood up and rushed the Gardevoir, a last attempt to hit it before— Zoë's eyes widened. Her eye twitched. She was hit square in the middle of her stomach, shoving her a few feet away and onto her back.

She wasn't strong enough to take on that psychic type. Zoë breathed in and out, hoping the something would be done— begging Arceus to come help.

Zoë felt her arms give out first. Then her knees. Then her eyes slowly closed, leaving her to fall asleep tiredly to the ground. She had fainted.
