Audrey just smiled and shook her head as she walked over to mimi's side "you don't have to thank me. I just don't want anything to happen to you. My brother seems to really care about you and also, as the oldest sister, I know how your siblings would feel if anything bad happened to you"

Mimi's ears drooped a bit, "I know.... I've been lucky for a few years now..... one day my luck is going to run out...." She said then perked up and smiled happily, "But I won't think on that... I think I'm going to turn in for bed ok?"

"alright Mimi" she smiled and walked, tucking in the girl and rubbing one of her ears before heading out of the room and turning the light out "sleep well" she called and closed the door. outside, the others were running around to put their things into their chosen rooms. Jeremy's footsteps could be heard walking past mimi's room before heading into the room beside her

Things were quiet from Mimi it wasn't until the second night that she had her nightmares. In the middle of the night she tossed on her bed whimpering. Her face showed that she was remembering pain. She started to cry, "N-.....no.... p...please......st....stop..... I don't.... want to...." She whimpered until finally she started to scream. She was still asleep and she couldn't stop screaming in pain.

Jeremy was the first to run inside, wearing only sweats and no bandages as he hurried to hold onto Mimi's hand tightly "Mimi. . Mimi wake up. ." He called and held onto her cheek softly to try and shake her away "Mimi it's me. you're having a bad dream. . wake up now"

Mimi gasped awake and looked around. When she saw Jeremy she teared up again and held onto him crying. She had been so scared.

Jeremy blinked in surprise when she began to cry but he hugged her close and slowly got up to sit on the bed with her. he pet her ears back and held her close ". . .are you alright Mimi?" he asked and tilted his head "do you want. .to talk about it?"

Mimi gulped a bit and looked up at him, "Godrik told me to never tell anyone..... but..." She looked down again, "I think if I'm going to be with you all I should tell you all why I am the way I am..." She said softly. "In the morning? Please?"

Jeremy nodded and pet her hair again before giving her a small smile "of course. now, try and get some sleep. ." he said and laid her down to tuck her back into her blankets "do you want me to stay. . .? till you sleep again?"

Mimi held onto his arm as best she could with her small hands, "Don't leave at all... Please?" She blushed a bit then looked down, "Me, Godrik and Claudia kindof.... sleep in a big puppy pile..." She said softly. "I'm not used to sleeping alone..."

Jeremy blinked softly and watched her before he blushed softly ". . .I don't have my bandages on. . so I apologize for. .my scales" he said before lifting the blanket up. he slowly climbed into her blankets and covered them both up as best as he could before hugging her shoulders to keep her warm

Mimi froze for only a moment. She pushed back her thoughts of the past and repeated to herself that she was safe. "I don't mind..." She said softly and curled up to him closing her eyes to sleep.

his arms stayed around her tenderly and kept her close for the night until morning. he groaned and turned his head before slowly getting up and looking around for Mimi. Bayer was already awake and cooking breakfast for the family

Mimi was up running around with Domonik laughing and giggling. "You won't catch me..." she called jumping from the walls with her back legs.

domenick laughed and kept climbing on the walls to try and catch mimi while Audrey read calmly in the middle of their jumping around. Jeremy yawned and walked in time to catch Domenick in his arm and sit down on the couch to try and rest "morning big brother!" the boy smiled as he nodded tiredly in response
