The grief simply turns into anger soon after, Klinail returns fire in the form of a kick to the figure's shin. The two both deals damage to each other...but it doesn't look very good for Klinail at all.

Dropping to the ground, Klinail simply held their head in their hands. Trying to get a grip on reality again. Of all the things they had to feel...If given the choice, the would gladly take the emotion that had hit them the first time.

She'd been battling the cutest, most disgusting creature she could and had wandered into the fog. She thought the others had been nearby, but they must have also been swallowed up by the fog. Among the spires she had found a path and followed curiously. Surely it was a way to go, but was it the correct way? Or did a "correct" way even exist?
Mel'ae stood warily before entering, stepping on a few of the platforms and following where they lead. It took little time before it hit her like a ton of bricks. Everything she had come to know vanished slowly and a curling smirk found her and she laughed. Oh how amusing it was, they were coming...
Huffing with a continuing giggle she stumbled down a few more platforms, ready to continue, ready for anything to catch her. If they could catch her, she laughed harder, taking in a deep breath while her body began to shake with the utter feeling of it creeping through her body. It was glorious, such a glorious feeling. It was all hers to betray, all hers to face... and she was nothing but satisfied.
With a gleaming grin from ear to ear she moved on her way. She sadistically hoped that they WOULD show up.

The fog was becoming less of an annoyance to her. It curled in a way that appealed for some reason, though she could not name it. The paths were many, but Omega had not particular reason for choosing the one she had this time: it was simply where her feet had borne her.
With each step she grew more confident. There was a flash of something in her mind: a battle, a clash of weapons, a strike that was quickly countered and slaughtered with efficiency. Her path was now the only path, the right path. Fortune favored her, this Omega knew. Otherwise she would not feel so very right to across the road. Fog or not, she would make her way through it; and nothing would stand in her way.
She was not weak. She was chosen.
