Relic had been observing the crowd discreetly. It was hard to imagine this many Soquili in a single place. When he had belong to the Carnival there had been probably an equal amount of just members but countless others that had come to be scared. His own act had been truly gruesome. He recalled that poor stallion that had been thrust upon him during the height of the carnival. How many times had he operated, taking a kidney that always seemed to come back time after time?
The sound of a voice though cut through his memories and Relic turned his attention to the bright, young thing that stood before him. He gazed on her, almost as if he did not see her, before fully coming back to the present. His voice was soft, almost a whisper as he spoke to her. "Greetings to you Miss Kai'kede and thank you for your warm welcome. My name is Relic. You ask for my reasons for coming to the festival? I come to satisfy my curiosity. I overheard a few Soquili mention that they wished to come to this festival. My curiosity rose and I decided to follow along. They did not know this as I prefer not to announce my presence to others."
Relic gave Kai'kede another glance, this time towards her wings. How unusual they appeared? Relic sighed before taking in the rest of the crowd. He could just stay and mingle with others but the temptation was still there. He needed herbs badly and this place seemed rich with vegetation. Having a guide could make the task easier. A sly look crossed his features before he composed himself. "Kai'kede, I have not been completely honest in my reasons for coming here. The festival was a convenient cover. But would you care to assist me if I told you my true desires? You see, I am an herbalist and in my area that I roam the plants I need have vanished."Amirynth Thank you for noticing Relic.

Lethe gazed at Rokh'jin as the mare gave up her name. Her gaze was steady as she watched the stranger move just a little bit closer to her. The talons on her feet clenched the dirt and grass below into smaller piles as she hesitated on revealing her name. It was strange to see another so like her that it was almost disconcerting. All of her instincts, honed by Barracus, urged her to attack this stranger but Lethe couldn't find the will to listen to those instincts.
"Hmm, that is a very interesting name: Rokh'jin."
Lethe paused as she took in the mare's coloration and little bat friend before pondering the request. "I guess it is only fair that I indulge your request. I'm known as Lethe. I've been told it means oblivion and I guess perhaps it is why my mother named me such. She wanted nothing to do with me."
By now bitterness had soured the words in her mouth and Lethe clenched her teeth. It was still a sore point with her that she'd been abandoned.

Amiera's eyes were still scanning the masses, she almost didn't notice the other stallion approaching them. He seemed to be a charmer, surprisingly she'd never run into one of his type before so this should definitely prove interesting. She glanced over at her companion and they passed a look between them. Whereas she didn't know what exactly to do, she saw Sarai giggle and almost smirk. "Thank you, we appreciate such a kind offer. We're both very new here so an escort would be welcome." There that was safe right? No harm done, he was simply being nice! "My name is Amiera, it's nice to meet you Zevron."Her poor friend was totally out of her element, she'd have to help her out a bit. Granted she didn't have as much experience either, but she'd learned enough from her fathers to take care of herself. "Yes, and we haven't seen so many gathered in one place before. We fear we might be swept up in their masses, never to surface again!" Okay she was being dramatic, but it was mostly true! "I would most definitely like to see what fun there is to have here. I'm Sarai."

Kaz'kah stood by silently as the large light blue mare talked with the others. He decided it was best not to disturb their conversation and instead turned his attention to the stage where a lovely mare with a firey mane was telling a story. He listened intently for a time, still taking a glance at the blue mare out of the corner of his eye when he could. He was fairly certain who that large mare must be but now that he was here he, after that long arduous journey alone, he felt lost amongst this crowed.
Suddenly, a purple and blue stallion was falling from the sky before him. Forgetting his brave façade Kaz’kah jumped back in fright, almost knocking down another festival goer in the process. He clumsily regained his balance, apologizing to the other Soquili before again setting his eyes on this purple stallion. Pausing for a moment to look him over, he decided there was something distinctly trollish about him yet those horns and wings, he’d never seen that on a troll before. “G.. Greetin’s” He stammered as he collected his thoughts. “Iyah bein Kaz’kah, son a Amani en Ziya, gra’son a Ajin en Eros.” He said with a toothy grin, seemingly completely calm again. “An’ who bein you?”
