A Slytherin that hates people? Oh THAT's a new idea...  ####.....Shamus nodded, thinking about the righting. It was lovely and very... Knowledgable. He had always read in books that tattoos were used for tribal peoples, convicts and markings. This was none of those, but was for self expression, beautification and personal history... Among other things. When he heard she got her first when she was ten he had no reaction, having no knowledge that that was a young age for tattooing. "Could you do a tattoo of a dragon and Sanskrit text?" He asked just as the waitress came. A Slytherin that hates Snakes and the color green?Odd enough for You?

 ✌Dating: No One✌Owner: All or Nothing✌Alumni: Slytherin✌  Quynn was admiring the colorful inkwork, then she looked up at Shamus' next question. "I could, in fact. I don't know much Sanskrit, but I'm sure I could find a book on it. And Dragons aren't too hard." She gave a confidant nod, grinning. Dark brown eyes lightened a bit, reflecting her happiness. The young woman ordered her food, then the same for Shamus, just as he had requested. Hopefully it would be there soon. {OoC:}

A Slytherin that hates people? Oh THAT's a new idea... ####.....Shamus smiled, watching her think it over. He nodded. "Thank you Miss Quynn...I would like that" he said. He knew he could always show her a book, but letting her chose was just as good. When she ordered for him he felt happiness. It was as if he had a true friend. "So...what do..you think for our meeting so fa-" He stopped. he could feel his potion wearing off. But that was impossible, he had taken a double dose. He did not have that high of a tolerance.. She grinned, then hiccoughed softly. Her eyes locked gaze with his as he spoke up again, cutting off awkwardly. "It's pretty good, actually. I've been trapped between work and home... which is just above work... for a few months. It's quite nice to get out. Particularly with someone near my own age, as opposed to my little brother."{OoC:}

When looked at directly his eyes looked less black and more the deep, grey blue of stormy seas. He did not know quite how to turn away. her eyes were mesmerizing. "Alright..I'll..I'll just call you Quynn then Mis-Quynn...I..I have never been out to a social gathering...with..someone my own age" He said bluntly, starting to sweat now. As such he grasped on to the brother part. "Oh. You have a brother? I have 4-3 brothers..3. One died you see...I also have one sister...bright red hair..." He was starting to ramble. Was she flushed? Then again, her mom would more likely be Miss Pierce... since Quynn was Alecia's middle name... When Shamus began to babble, obviously flustered, Quynn's eyes went wide. "Shamus?! Are you okay? Do you have a fever?!" In a split second, she was standing at his side, resting a cool hand against his forehead. With a sigh, she moved to sit back down. "Nope. No fever... and sorry 'bout that. Oh THAT's a new idea... ####.....Shamus looked as if he had been struck by lightning, lived, then looked down to see diamonds at his feet.. or that his feet were made of them... and he was not sure if that was really good, or really scary. He was pale and shaking, before he got up and ran to the trash to throw up, stopped half way, taking something out of his jacket, downed it and came back. He looked very ashamed, yet as if he was hopping that she didn't notice. "....I am fine..." He said in a tiny voice. A Slytherin that hates Snakes and the color green?Odd enough for You?

When he returned, she blinked a few times, in obvious shock. What... what had she done wrong?! He said in a very tiny voice that he was fine, but she didn't believe it. She needed... something. She gave a nervous smile, then wracked her brain for some sort of topic. "Uh... you... you said you were in Sl-Slytherin? Did you... um... play Quidditch or anything? Maybe?" She really didn't know very much about the sport, but she needed something!!{OoC:}

It was a quarter full and the distinct color of an anti stress potion. He shook his head at the question. "No. My mother said that if I hurt my self I would regret it and she would make my brother the heir" he said simply. "As such I stayed away from all dangerous activities" he said. "I did read a lot of books..do you have a favorite book?" He asked her, looking much, much more at ease. He then noticed that she seemed to be ill at ease. "Whats..the matter Quynn?" It didn't look familiar, at any rate. When he said he wasn't allowed to be hurt, she lifted an eyebrow inquisitively. "No pain, eh? I never had that problem. My parents encouraged me to play and get hurt. Injuries heal, you know." She nodded, then fluffed her hair. He mentioned books, which she had never actively pursued. "I never read much, actually. I was usually hidden in one of the art classrooms." It was true, at least. He asked what was the matter, so she shook her head awkwardly. "I'm just fine."{OoC:}

"Yes..I have read some parents think pain makes people stronger...But it is not pain that is my problem. It's scaring" he said simply. When she mentioned that she liked art he smiled. "I have read many books on art...I always liked it" he said truthfully. "My favorite was the art from the Japanese style. I remember reading that they do tattooing there as well..." He said. Her mother always supported her and took care of her,so she wasn't all too familiar with other mothers. He said he liked art, particularly that of Japanese persuasion. "Tattooing is not a new art form by far. It's been done for aeons. I like the history to my art, as well as the art itself." She gave a gentle nod, then looked up as her food arrived. The woman softly thanked the waitress, then began to eat as daintily as she knew how. {OoC:}

A Slytherin that hates people? Oh THAT's a new idea... ####.....Shamus ate like someone who was taught from a very young age how to eat in company because that was the case. His mother had rapped his knuckles when he ate like a slob. When she said that his mother was annoyingly vain he laughed, nearly chocking and taking a drink of water. "Oh. That is a good way to put it. She nearly disowned by brother after he got so scared" He said nonchalantly. He decided that he was going to buy a book on tattooing. It seemed like a good thing to buy...not just so he could try to impress her ether. He was curious now. "Ah..I like history as well..." He watched her eat, thinking that she must be eating in the manner she learned from another culture...it looked a tad stiff. A Slytherin that hates Snakes and the color green?Odd enough for You?

A wave of shame hit her, and she attempted more to eat like a lady. "Your mom sounds like an awful lady. I have scars all over. They tell a story." She gave a nod, then sighed. He spoke of her liking history, which caused her to snicker. "I hate History, actually. The subject bores me so. Art history is one thing, normal history's another." She shrugged, then sipped her Firewhiskey. She loved the odd burn of the alcohol, so she ordered it quite often. {OoC:}

"She...she has her momnents...but she loves us...she must" he said, sighing. He thought about it. "We...she loves my youngest brother and my sister" he said. His mother always did have a thing for babies. "Oh? Really? My favorite subject is potions...but I always liked history...what else to you like Quynn?"
