"Some things happen that you can't predict...It's up to you on how you deal with them.
Vixen tilted her head, being able to hear what they said, but only bits and pieces. She looked over at the tent and stopped tracing her tattoo as she saw a girl come out and headed to where she was at. She studied the girl and nodded her form of greeting.

Sitting in silence for a few brief moments, stared down at the rose and then back up at the professor, "Never heard of that name, I'm just a simple caretaker and just recently the Duelist of the Green Rose, so the name is rather lost on me I fear" he remarked, his tone sounding almost bored as he described his two occupations, the name was truly lost on Sacarius as he had never heard of it, maybe it was a name lost to ages past. He gave a light shrug and raised the rose up to examine it better, it was exact to the one he was given as a sign of his role as Duelist, yet ultimately it had no other remarkable traits, he briefly looked back at Solkrarllis, the way that the man said his name was almost like he expected it to be remember instantaneously, "How about a recap? Maybe that might help me remember you better" he suggested, his slit-like eyes now fixed on the man, his mischievous smirk still visible on his face.
For whatever reason Solkrarllis had believed that Sacarius should have known him, the possibilities as to why had started to fill Sacarius' head, a few leapt out at him, maybe he was seeking revenge for one of the many crimes that Sacarius got away with in the past, maybe he knew who Sacarius really was, or maybe... just maybe... Xavier sent him to mess with Sacarius, it wouldn't have been the first time for that.

OoC: @Siera, Understood, hopefully she gets her internet fixed soon.
OOC-You don't want to know how long I had to fight my internet just to get this up.
Chimera
As Mera sat there, she pondered over what Sacarius had said. From his words and what I've observed of her so far, she seems to like company, but not the social obligations that usually come with it. Mera takes note of her discomfort every time a firework goes off, though the reaction is slight. I recall her wearing earphones when she arrived. Perhaps some music instead of talking is what she needs. Chimera opens the bag at her hip and takes out a large sketching pad and a few pencils. She flips to an empty page and begins to sketch a woman in a festive kimono, surrounded by glowing paper lanterns and the moon at her back, fireworks going off in the sky. As the first strokes of her artwork are made, Mera begins to sing, letting anyone who wishes to listen hear her song. Mother would sing this to me every night when I was small. It always made me feel safe. Maybe that's all this girl needs.

Sacarius once again remained silent and looked down at the green rose once more, the brim of his hat casting a shadow over the entirety of his face, his lips slowly curled into an even larger grin before he burst out into full blown laughter. When he was finally able to catch his breath again, he looked back up at Solkrarllis, his eyes completely open revealing his own pair of unusually coloured eyes, which resembled that of a snake, "I uhh.. ehehe hate to break it to ya, but I'm not exactly interested I got too much on my plate as it is, and I ain't going in for seconds, if you catch my drift" he answered, placing his hand upon his hat and turning away. He was about to leave when something stuck out in his mind, he had never heard of the name Arturo either... he looked back to Solkrarllis, "Y'know, the name Arturo isn't ringing any bells either, you wouldn't have happened to have mistaken me for someone else?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he studied Solkrarllis, taking in the fact that the man's eyes were now hidden.
Hmmm... a whole order of green roses eh? That could be a problem, going to have to be on my toes now, since they have some interest in me, and my reaction to their invitation was less than flattering... he thought to himself, with so many people now on his tail he would need to be extremely cautious, but once his job was complete maybe he could return to this school and get a little extracurricular work done.

Vixen closed her eyes, trying to tune out the loud bursts of the fireworks. Having hear the girl sing she relaxed more. During the years Vixen had discovered that having music helped calm her. Her eyes remained close as she slowly began to sing along, knowing the song well, but it never made her feel safe. .... Alone...This song makes me feel alone....This is how I always will be...Alone.. She shook her head as the thoughts continued opening her eyes to stare at the moon.

Sacarius should do little more than watch as Solkrarllis let out a snicker and bid him farewell, it was an odd sight to be sure, the man caught his attention only to offer a place within some sort of group and then leave, Sacarius was unsure what to make of it at first, simply filing it under "Not important" in his head. His eyes returned to their slit-like appearance before he got out of his seat and made his way back to the tree where Vixen and Chimera were both singing a song, one he was unfamiliar with. He only stood there, arms crossed over his chest with a comforting smile on his face, his seemed to watch the two without wanting to interrupt the song, Vixen seemed more in thought than Chimera, for whatever reason Sacarius had yet to decipher.
Behind him more fireworks lit up the sky, with every explosion lighting up the area a shadow was cast over Sacarius' entire being with only a few noticeable things remaining as the shadows consumed him, a small yellow circle over where his left eye once was, a red curved slit where his mouth once was, almost appearing as a large grin and lastly, a green crack like void that was embedded into his chest. Once the fireworks finally stopped, all that stood there was the well dressed man, still motionless and silent as a statue as he listened in on the duet, his comforting smile once again plastered onto his lips.
Upon hearing the girl's voice join hers, Mera was glad to learn that she knew this song as well. Mera's eyes never left the scene unfolding on the paper in her hands, though her focus was entirely on the girl sitting next to her. So absorbed in her art and the song, Mera noticed nothing else of her surroundings until a small skittering of danger ran across her aura. However it vanished as quickly as it had seemed to appear as the song ended and the fireworks ceased. I wonder if it is over or if they are simply going to fetch more, Mera thought. Mera glanced to her companion as the song ended to see her staring up at the moon. Her expression reminds me of Mother. Perhaps it is because we were singing her lullaby, though admittedly may seem more like a sad ode than a soothing lullaby. Thoughts of her mother still vibrant in her mind, Mera began to draw the face of the figure in her portrait as her mother's. Though her Mother was surrounded by festivities, her expression was distant and longing, her body silhouetted by the moon. Looking back to her companion, Mera was startled at just how similar her and her Mother's expressions were. Wanting to alleviate such troubled feelings, Mera's gentle voice spoke quietly to her, "I'm surprised that you have heard of Mother's lullaby. It is a rather odd song for a lullaby, I will admit, but Grandfather would sing it to Mother when she was small, and in turn would sing it to me as I fell asleep. It was such a long time ago, but the memory of it sooths me. It would seem however that it has not done the same for you. I am sorry of that, for it is a beautiful song."
"Some things happen that you can't predict...It's up to you on how you deal with them.
Vixen sighed as she ended the song. Her voice had shown the sadness that she had known. The loneliness that she had always had. She closed her eyes for a few seconds before clenching her fists. Banishing the memories from her thoughts for the moment and willing herself not to show any weakness. "It's fine.. Don't worry about it..."

"Lying won't help anything" Sacarius finally spoke up, walking towards the two, his hands hidden away in his pockets and the brim of his hat once again casting a shadow over his eyes, "Besides if you're going to lie, try to hide your true emotions or sell another one to really drive the point home" he added, as he walked straight towards Vixen, extending a hand down to help her back to her feet. He turned his attention to Chimera briefly with his usual comforting smile, "Funny how something so small can be held so highly if introduced through family, don't you agree?" he said, referring to the lullaby that the two were singing a few moments ago, all it took was a family member to introduce something to a child and it will forever be held with the highest of praise and cherished even as that child grows old.
Sacarius returned his view to Vixen, "I'll understand if you wish to keep the thoughts to yourself, but if you can muster up the strength to share your burden maybe we can help" he said, placing his free hand on his chest and then gesturing to Chimera as a way of emphasizing his words.

Chimera
Mera looks up at Sacarius with a calm, but serious look. "It does not surprise me that it is so. Family is the very beginning of everyone. They are what creates us as what we are today. We owe them everything." Conviction shines strongly in Mera's eyes, though it lacks the bite of determination and fire, leaving the impression that though she strongly believes in this, she does no expect anyone else to feel the same and will not waste her time trying to convince others that she is right. Mera then turns her attention to Vixen as Sacarius speaks. Mera looks up into Vixen's face with such a strong look of knowing and understanding, it is almost overwhelming. "It is easy to hide. Only those who are truly strong have the ability to lay themselves bare." Mera's face then softens a bit, "It is also a choice only you can make."
"Some things happen that you can't predict...It's up to you on how you deal with them.
Vixen cut her eyes over at Sacarius, her eyes narrowing at him. He could tell I was lying so easily... She took his hand and got up. Not saying anything for a few moments. Personally trying to think of what to say. She glanced over at him at the last part, her hair obstructing exactly what she was staring at. "I highly doubt you would understand what I've been through." She mumbled under her breath. She shook her head and felt a small growl trying to creep its way up and out of her throat. Something that didn't happen very often for her. She nodded at what Mera said but didn't say anything. She was thinking about saying her story, knowing it would lift her burden. How would I say it... What just say "Ya I basically killed about 200 people in a 2 mile radius because I would have been tested on. That and because of it I have almost a split personality that gets blood-thirsty whenever I smell blood or get near a human. So now I have a seal on my powers at hope to controlling my blood-lust. The typical thing every teenager has to deal with. She mentally rolled her eyes at this and continued on a way of how exactly to say it.

With a brief chuckle Sacarius helped Vixen to her feet, she looked rather shocked that he knew about her lying, truth was, he wasn't sure if it was something major, it was something noticeable but the underlying tone in her voice kept him from telling exactly what the problem was. When she finally spoke up it sounded like it was something more interesting than she was letting on, mainly because she wasn't telling them, he tilted his head Hmm... let's see what my options are: I could keep to my word and drop the subject, or see exactly what is causing her so much pain, if I drop it I'd assume that Mera will pick it right back up again, she seems the protective type... there is a third option I could use... he thought to himself, finally his smile dropping looking more concerned now, "If you truly believed that you wouldn't have said that, you served to only concern us further" he replied, releasing his grip on her hand and once again hiding his hands in his pockets. His usual relaxed demeanor dropped, he was now looking way more serious yet concerned, "I said I would understand if you didn't wish to speak of it, and I will keep to my word, but also realize that we've been through mainly things in our own lives, hell, I've made it this far in life by laying everything bear, no worries, no secrets, nothing but the man you see before you" he added, seemingly dropping the topic, because he knew that Chimera would either pick it right back up or Vixen would listen to his last words and reveal this harsh secret.
Seeing the struggle on the other girl's face, Mera puts her drawing away and stands up. She puts her hand on Vixen's shoulder and says in a quiet voice, "Sacarius is right. You should not assume that others will not understand, when you know nothing of their troubles yourself. However, I understand that it can be difficult to share, especially with strangers." Mera steps to Vixen's side, places a hand over her own heart, and bows her head, "I am Chimera, though Mera will do. I am a Life-bringer and have terrible burdens of my own. You need not fear judgement from me."
