Jake blushed when he felt her press her body into him. "Alright..to the lover's room?" he purred kissing her lips. Once she got off of him, the mage paid for the meal and left the bar with his lover to the Inn where they purchased a room for the night. Now alone he gave her a flirtacious wink. "Well then..shall we continue." he asked chuckling. "You have needs..and being a mage, taking care of needs is my job. Is it not?" he blushed sitting upon the bed. (you can skip a bit after you post. Just skip the love making scene and maybe ahead a bit, I'll leave how far along to you. Not too far though. )

"Damn right it is..." Khira replied with a sly smile as she easily slipped from her clothes. Pulling the sheets over them as she crawled into the bed it wasn't long before another set of clothes joined hers on the floor. (We'll go ahead and jump forward another month or so (putting her at about five months) with them slowly moving in the direction of Khira's hometown. She'd probably be in the back of a cart or on a small but sturdy pony by this point.)

(Alright. :3) Just like that night many moons ago, they melted into each other's arms and eventually fell asleep holding each other. He was so happy to not only have a woman to love, but children on the way. It seemed that their journey was only going to get a bit more challenging as the months went on by... --------------------- One Month Later... --------------------- "Ahh isn't this lovely!" he happily said sitting next to her as a small horse drawn cart was pulling them to a coastal town. They had hired the man and as long as there was gold he didn't care what he hauled. They needed to get onto a boat to cross the continent. On the other side was her home, and the more they got closer to it..the more nervous Jake was slowly becoming. Rubbing her back he allowed his lover to relax in his lap some as they rode along. "How are the little ones coping with the ride?" he asked with concern. (I figure I'd leave it to you to describe her appearance. ^^)

(I imagine not a whole lot would have changed with exception of her growing a bit in the belly and breasts departments.) "As good as one might expect for a bumpy cart ride." Khira replied. With the coastal breeze keeping temperatures relatively nice the dwarven bard had folded up her cloak and resorted to using it as a pillow. In place of her doe-skin boots, she now favored a pair of sandals with knee high straps. As her belly and breasts continued to swell outward, Khira simply bought extra lace and added ties to her current shirt allowing it to shift sizes with ease. "But they clearly have inherited some of your human mentality. Whereas I hate boats and water, like any true dwarf, the children seem quite calm and relaxed about it."

Rubbing her belly softly Jake smiles. "Well now I'm sure they have. This is the only way to get to the other continent. Unless you know of a better path? Yet I wouldn't want to risk you or our little ones getting hurt." he smiled. "I'll keep you safe. Would you like to eat something before we buy a pass onto a ship?" The cart gently rolled into the small coastal village. Because of their performances, they had become well famous. Jake laughed as he watched children running along side, and behind, the cart asking them if they were here to do a show! Looking into Khira's eyes he gave her a wink. "Just think someday we'll have little children running after us like they are." he softly said to her.

"No, no. This is how I got here, this is how I'll leave here. That doesn't change the fact that I don't like boats." Khira replied, shifting slightly so she could sit upon her cloak. "Oh boy sea sickness and morning sickness all rolled into one!" She added, the voice dripping with sarcasm. "No thanks, I'd just end up seeing it again. I'll be fine with what rations I got left." Khira laughed at Jake's final statement. "Unless you plan on the throwing them out of the cart, I imagine the children would be in the cart with us."

He laughed, "You're so silly!" he replies kissing her lips. When the cart finally stops he smiles at all the children and people gathering around them. "Maybe we should give one more show before we set sail?" he asked sweetly standing up and smiling. At first the shows were just a way to make money, but now Jake loved doing them. It was worth seeing all the happy smiles of the people.

"I suppose we could..." Khira replied with a smile. Reaching for her pack the expectant dwarf unhooked her lute from its back and lightly began to strum it as she tried to find a rhythm.

(Oh by the way! I keep forgetting..it's a little late but Happy Birthday *hug* ^^; ) He kissed her lips then hopped out of the cart dancing and using his magic to suddenly shoot mini fireworks into the air. The couple gave them a show like no other. There was even a point where he paid the driver to cart them around the town while Khira played her lute and Jake used his magic to make a stream of little magical see through cats dance happily in the air as the cart was being pulled around. Once they were done, the couple had made more money than before and Jake graciously thanked the people. They probably made more because of Khira's condition, but with a bit more gold in their pockets, they would split whatever they made 50/50, the couple said farewell to the people and boarded one of the ships that would take them to the other continent! ------------------------------------ Two Days Later.... ------------------------------------- "It's alright..let it out.." he said frowning. Holding Khira's hair back, they were both standing on the deck of the ship. She was on a few boxes so she could let all her seasickness into the ocean. Jake had her hair gently pulled away from her face and was now gently rubbing her back as well. She wasn't kidding about having seasickness. "We'll be off this ship soon.." he cooed trying to make the situation better for her. "Just a little more Honey..then we'll be home.."

(Lol, don't worry about it. But thank you anyway. ^^) Wiping the spittle and rogue bits of vomit from her lips, Khira plopped down atop what the crew had come to call her barfing box. "We better... I don't think my stomach can handle much more of this abuse..." Khira muttered, rubbing her massive belly.

Hugging her tenderly Jake rubbed her belly too. "My my I never realized how round your tummy was." he commented happily. "It's beautiful, I just hope our kids are alright too." he said looking into her eyes. Jake would have kissed her, but learned that mistake when he did and tasted puke instead of sweetness. Rubbing her back he stayed by her side through the whole ordeal. He even carried her inside to the cabin bed they shared when it had become night. "I'll make sure this is the last boat you ever sail on." he softly cooed. Jake figured he would be stuck in her home village anyway. Seeing that she probably wasn't going to go anywhere else to settle down after the kids were born.

"Its not the boat I hate." Khira commented as Jake carried her to their room. "Its this nonstop rolling motion. Being a dwarf I like the feeling of something solid and immovable beneath my feet. You'll see what I mean when we get back to my home. Only a major earthquake could shake the foundations of our city."

Jake gently laid her upon the bed. Pulling up a chair he sat next to her and softly placed a hand to her cheek. "Darling..if you wanted I could look up a spell for you. I think I might have some foundation firmness ones." he said smiling softly at her. "Whatever it will take you make you and our little ones comfortable. I should have thought about that in the first place. I'm sorry Khira." he said taking her hand gently.

"No, no, no... Save your magic for when we land." Khira said, gently squeezing his hand in turn as he tried to comfort her. "Although if you abducted one of those hammocks the crew use, I'd love one of those. The ship keeps tossing me about during the night causing me to land on my belly or get tied up in the sheets."

He chuckled gently now massaging her belly. "Alright honey. I'll make sure to steal one for you." he replies happily. Getting onto the bed he cuddles up next to her and sighs. "Just think, we're almost home..I'm a bit nervous." he blushes. "I hope I can make a good impression."
