She tried to ignore the ran as much as possible, however it was steadily becoming harder and harder. The chill of it settling into her human bones so effortlessly as it landed over exposed skin. Her thick and colorful clothing soaking it up quickly as much as her hair did as it gradually collected droplets and watery spheres. Forcing down a shiver, Adi finally drew out a heavy shall like cloaked that covered her head and arms right down to a good portion of her skirt. It had a little Gypsy magic sown into it where water just ran right off of it.
"Pick a lock..." she said with a smirk. "Do you not realize that you're talking to a born and raised Gypsy. Of course I know how to pick a lock, knew how since I was 7."
Adi used the moment and chuckle to lighten the moment. However, it probably did not do the job well. It was a somber moment and even more somber day, and the sky seemed to mourn with the both of them at the news. And mention of the Occult sentencing them to death for this, Rur'Adika held a hand to her neck as she pictured her untimely execution.
"It's the right thing to do though...regardless of the consequences," with a firmness and air of determination, Adi nodded. "We only have till morning, we need to leave now, am I right?"

 Isabelle Statem `•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´
Isabelle was almost jealous of the cloth the gypsie had pulled to keep her dry, but now she couldn't care too much for it. Though the Gypsie did have a way of lightening the moment, the Caster being more than happy to know she could pick a lock so well. Almost revealing a smile she agreed with Adi and said "mhm" to leave almost immediately. Looking over her shoulder at the palace she then looked down at her clothes. "ugh" she muttered. "and to think i thought it woudln't rain..." she then wiped her face and looked back at the gypsie, she blinked softly and now she looked less saddened.
Isabelle had swallowed her fears and recovered, she now had a plan, and felt like they were going to be alright. Worse off, something was wrong here, and in the end she knew they were somehow going to expose the culprit. "I'm Isabelle, by the way" her accent heavy again, her tone more strong, more confident. She no longer sounded helpless, but like a young woman who would normally be the one beating the men. "follow me" she said, making her way through the crowds.
Soon enough they were at a back wall with mud surrounding the supposed invisible doorway. Giving Adi one look, she carefully concentrated on the brick wall beneath the rain. With a purple glower at her finger tip she draw an ankh in the ar, and through the circular section she continued to draw a vertical line. It was like an ankh overlapping a holy cross. The symbol of Declasia.
With the evidence of the Royal Guard, the dark wet bricks back to vibrate and shift, cement falling from place as the bricked folded and sunk, moved and replaced into an open doorway.

Seeing as the woman she had only met was not disagreeing with the urgency, by the level of seriousness Adi knew she needed to get ready for this. So going to her bags, she snatched out her set of picks and needles needed for breaking into places. Placing them within her belt, Adi soothed Croix as she led him away into an overhang nearby partly hidden and secure.
"We have to come back for him...or just myself; I'm not leaving him here..." she said softly but firmly and followed after the beautiful woman before her who finally gave a name. "Rur'Adika...but your brother calls me Adi." Introductions over, they were on their way, weaving through streets and grieving crowds. She had no idea where they were going, only that they were headed towards the Black Palace.
In the rain, it was not as pleasant of a walk. The magic shall helped now, and Adi wished she had another for Isabelle as she appeared not fond of being wet. The Gypsy had to admit though, having wet feet was even less pleasant then being wet; her boots had long sense soaked up water and mud alike. The mucky brown stuff was already clinging to the hem of her skirt already, and Adi knew it was only going to get worse. But at last they were there, and Adi lowered the shall from her head waiting and watching. The appearance of a door and the symbol was both odd and interesting.
"A hidden back doorway....how original..." the Gypsy murmured, though interested was not at all that impressed. Once she thought this land beautiful and lively, but soon learning that there were unpleasant dark forces here. The words 'darkness is coming' continued to spring into her head as see followed Isabelle into the depths of the palace.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
They had been travelling for what Nyru though... was weeks. The one irritating thing about the Land of Crows was that so much of the energy created and consumed here would interfere with most combustion engines or electricity like the Lands of Occulas commonly uses, so - no cars. The Occult didn't even have the permission to open a portal, or that was what they were told to say. Isabelle knew it was because the Occult didn't have the power to open portals, the only person alive strong enough to do that is the lord of Entei, Professor Magus'bane. The Occult just used a one-way ticket from Absóluté whenever they needed to travel so far.
The sound of the horses that some of the Therians had began to blur into one repeating sound by now, and the few days that have passed since they left Notchwood was spent walking, resting, and watching the sun rise and set. Nyru even began to wonder when he would next see the Prince of Crows, staring at his hand whenever his family wasn't looking. He remembered the Prince always talking about choices, perhaps this was going to be some of the first, who to kill, who to save. Everything is connected. Isabelle was walking further ahead, as usual, and Nyru was by Claudia and Adi's side. He was about to mention how slow the walk had been, again, but then he noticed something different about the repeating environment of misty grasses and creepy trees. The city was nearby, he could tell the ominous glow of the city's main tower and countless watch towers by the walls in the distance.
"Casters!" Anita shouted at the top of her lungs, marching forward, clutching her weapons by her sides. Aubus already had his Bardiche clutched in his hands. "Ready!", suddenly Nyru was confronted by the several casters spread out amongst the small army raising their hands high above them. Feeling his chest thump as the adrenaline began he started to panic "Wait, what? Now?" he said, looking quickly to Adi and Claudia. "Cloak!" Anita then demanded, her order was followed by a suddenly, almost slow-motion-like white glow emanating from the Casters' clutches, raised fists. The aura seemed to pass through him as if he had plunged into water that passed through his body."Isabelle!" Nyru loudly tried to whisper to his sister, running up to her and tugging her shoulder. "What?" she swung her head round, holding a proud fist up. "Are we attacking now?" he asked, "No, we're too far away can't you tell?! We're all invisible to the city, they won't even see us coming until the front gates come crashing down on top of them" "But what about the people?" "The citizens? We won't harm them, who do you think we are?" "invaders..." he then had a small stare-off with his sister efore slowing down and rejoining the girls. So they weren't attacking just yet, that was good, but he could see the city walls getting closer, and a distinct sound of a magical, slightly chiming voice ringing out amongst the entire city. Like a warning or notice. "Do you guys hear that?" he asked them, holding up a finger telling them to listen.
"Attention, all citizens. " it said, loud like a giant, but with no mouth "the traitors of the city have escaped the Royal Guard. Nyru Statem and Claudia Vessalia (hope i spelt it right, Tuna!!!) have broken their vows and will be captured to answer their crimes to the Lord Regent, Darris. The City protector and avenger of the late queen, Declasia. As always, anyone found to be assisting the convicts shall be punished alike the traitors." It then cut out. The entire time through that Nyru's shoulders hung low as his moral seemed to drop, Isabelle did glance a look over her shoulder, a small white glow coming from her hand still, but she paid no more attention. She knew her brother, he wouldn't be down for much longer, not when the battle for justice begins. He was then shaken from his thought with the loud rumbling of grinding wood against steel, then the sudden, roaring collision sounding the familiar locking of the gates. Strange, the sun was only just about to set, and they rarely ever locked the main gates properly. Is Darris afraid that the traitors might surprise him?
Getting nearer to the giant, at-least 10 storey high gates, surrounding by giant stone walls and towers, guarded by men with polearms and crossbows, wearing strangely ancient armour, Nyru equipped his sword. "Aubus" said Anita, nudging his arm, he shook his head as if to ask what she wanted. "Notice their armour?" "I sure do" he sounded pretty concerned. He then quietly admitted "The cursed armour of the vampires. Declasia should have listened to the syndicate when they first became a guild and destroyed the remnants when the world was young...". They both stared onwards as the army came to a sudden halt, everything becoming silent, no more than 50 yards from the main gates. Nyru wasn't sure what to say, he swallowed and looked at the city he once called home and was about to invade.
((sorry this is big, but feel free to go crazy once we're inside! There'll be loads of irritating and pointless npc guards and followers of Darris to dispose of ;D I'll post next the awesome reveal of the Therians and crash of the gates xD))

Like a gift from the heavens it was easy to tell. It was love from above that could save me from hell. She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see, how the devil himself could be pulled out of me. There were drums in the air as she started to dance, Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands. And we danced on into the night! ━━☽Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą☾━━
The travel back to the City of Crow was much better then the first time. It was leisurely though for Adi, it was still stressful. The gypsy had spent much of her time singing, and playing sometimes at the night she would dance for the soldiers and wolves. Not like the celebration in Notchwood but similar. Otherwise during the day between conversations with Nyru and Claudia or both she was conversing with Zuriel and learning.
Course that all showed as Adi playing with the golden light and power she possessed that everyone was so keen on her using against Darris and hi horde. Adi was learning...connecting with the Divine soul within her, but she was also realizing just what the mark the Prince of Crows laid upon her did in response to the use of her new magic.
Pain...and a fair amount of it depending on what the task was and how much power was used.
Adi was discussing the issues and where in the problem lay with Zuriel, distracted as she was most of the time these days with an Angel in her skull, the gypsy jumped at Anita's cry. Drawn back into thought the gypsy was again drawn back to reality by the activity going on around her. This time though they were nearing the city, it now looking very different. Very unwelcoming unlike the last time she walked through these gates.
Staring up at them, Adi sighed. "...amazing what a few days and weeks can do to change things...time has flown yet seems to not have gone by at all..."
☽━━☆━━☾ Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place, you could tell how we felt from the look on our faces. We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes. No room left to move in between you and I. Our voices rang like the angels sing. We forgot where we were and we lost track of time, And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night. And we danced on into the night!

Claudia Vesslia A mode of transportation would have been less energy draining instead of traveling on foot for a little over a week. She felt like the biblical interpretation of Moses' voyage to the land of milk and honey, fortunately the duration of this walk wasn't that extensive. In some ways, this land was plentiful on its electrical current flow because without the use of cars and anything animatronic the power is conversed. Plus do to this life style, all citizens are fit and healthy expect for some black sheep of course. Aside from the cities excellent inhabitants and recycled system, the town was full of fools who believe in anything they hear. It didn't matter who was in charge their word is law and any argument is proven faults even with supporting evidence. Would assassinating Darris really abolish that effect or give the people more of a reason to rebuke against them? Claudia would just have to let the dry mud linger on her armored spats a little longer until she is considered clean.
The blonde tried not to drone on this aspect to much and would occasionally fall back in the formation to converse with her suitor. He would give her tips and secretly would help her write letters to send to her sister to keep her updated. Nyru wasn't let in on this or anyone else because it could be detrimental to the operation going on. If these letters found their way into the wrong hands than the whole plan could be ruined but she trusted her love interest. A good amount of the time, she stood beside Nyru and Adi knowing that her place was by them. As they neared the walls and gate, supernatural mist began to roll in and the ground became moist. The squishing of her foot steps against the green marsh like terrain disgusted her every time. One would think after living there practically your whole life you would be use to it, right? Claudia swallowed her desperation to leave and stared at the mark on her wrist to preoccupy her mind. Isabelle strolled ahead of the three unfazed and maintained the spiting image of her mother for some reason.
Several feet away and the shadow imitating from the towers was still intimating. Anita announced the Casters formally which for them meant to get into the desired fighting stance. Aubus emphasized this command by securing his Bardiche at his own sides as an example of how all soldiers should consist of this dignified look. The caster positioned themselves to the front lines, raised their fist, and blanketed the army in a white light. This action concerned the shadowmance as he confided to his sibling for understanding of this sudden magical wave. He asked about the attack and how the citizens would survive because this battlement in a way seemed cruel. However, they weren't monsters and the innocent would be spared regardless so he needed to worry more about himself. Was Nyru starting to regret this invasion even though it was their responsibility to account for the mess someone else made for them? The public had to know that they were not the culprits and that Darris is the true killer.
Speaking of the heartless villain, his voice rang through speakers rigged up around the area for public proclamations. She was one hundred percent sure that he was located in a well fortified facility surrounded by guards. He is a coward and as such she would have to think like that swine if she wanted to find him. Nyru looked defeated after the announcement had ended so Claudia gave him some advise. "Hey, Nyru. All of us here look down to no one, got that?" Short but it was straight to the point and blunt as hell. Slowly his elevated either from the noise of the grinding gates or the since of justice that sweep over him. The gypsy was outstanding to see just how far they had come and that the journey may be over after this battle. The archer had participated in many wars before this one, but her heart leaped out of her chest when she overheard about the armor then enemy possessed.
Armor of the Vampires, whatever that means. Nyru's parents obviously have lived longer than her so they've witnessed more weapons and defenses that she ever has. What abilities does this armor have and why is such a threat to Anita and Aubus because the others weren't acknowledging it. The silence stopped all in its tracks which made Claudia grab her bow and load it. One more glance to her friends should give her all the courage she needs to continue this dangerous mission. (It's fine. I'm starting to like this! Battle here we come!)

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Claudia managed to give him the support he needed, her bluntness and ability to occasionally bring an inspirational comment amongst her flaws made her somewhat admirable at times. No one could damage her, even if they tried. Adi spoke out about the change that time had taken on the city, and he couldn't help but agree "Look's like Darris made himself quite comfortable...". The Therians were all getting ready, unsheathing their weapons which to Nyru, looked far too big to be comfortable to hold. Giant flails, huge axes, bigger than his father's bardiche, they even had great shields to go with them. Grabbing his own blade he gave it a moment of thought, he placed so much trust in this thing. He admired the almost unnoticeable groovings between the individual segments of his sword and felt his sense of pride and honour return to him.
This was it, he was going to invade teh city with the Casters and Therians and finally return the city to it's former self. He looked over the countless heads before him for his parents, who were about to give an order. "Casters!" Anita announced, "in three... two....o-" "You dare to insult the Black Palace and accuse your Lord Regent of treason and murder of our beloved Queen?!" came a thundering, outraged shout from above the wall. To the right of the great gates Nyru looked up in horror as he saw one of the guardsmen holding a man by the scruff of his neck, he was fidgeting and trying to hold on to the guard's arm for life. Why? He was being held over the edge of the entire wall, a doomed fall to the marshy ground below. Nyru found himself stepping forwards abruptly, gritting his teeth in tension of what might happen next. Anita nd Aubus were staring up too, they were as shocked as everybody else.
"Please! No, I-" "You, and your followers will be punished for your transgression!" "I beg of you! Please!" the man begged, his legs kicking furiously trying to find a foothold. Nyru shouted to his mother "We have to do something! Mother!". She gritted her teeth like she couldn't think of what could be done, helping just one soul could jeopardise the entire operation. But even as quick as Anita could have replied nothing they could have done would be able to save the man. The guard, with his spare hand held a longsword and suddenly plunged it through his gut as blood dripped down and crashed to the wetland below. Nyru watched in horror as he saw the extent of Darris' guards' power, the guard pulled the sword out of the dying man and threw him over the edge, the moment the man's neck left his killer's clutch, red sparks and embers latched out into the air before the body began to plummet and, without enough time to actually hit the ground, turn to charred flesh and dust. Aubus watched as the bodiless clothes fell onto the grass, and whilst wanting to vomit the memory of what he had just seen, he gave the orders. "We attack. NOW!"
Nyru had never seen something so... so fast and aggressive. As soon as he felt the Casters' charm lift from the area, the Therians made teh first attack. Running with a ferocious speed and leaving the horsemen behind for a later attack, he thought they were going to run into the grand gates. But that's stupid! No one oculd ever get through those gates so easily. But then he saw a twilight mist, that was dark at its source, trail behind them as they grew larger, bulkier, muscle bulging out from the fur growing over their flesh that wasn't covered by plate armour. Suddenly their giant weapons looks proportional, and their huge wolf-like feet launched them high into the air as a dozen or so of them crashed into the gates with a tremendous power that shook the gates. The guardsmen on the city wall had began to shout after their initial shock of suddenly being udner sttack. "Invaders" "dogs attack the city!" "get the Royal Guard!" Nyru heard. A sudden crash behind Nyru though made him swing his head back and force an arm out to cover Claudia and Adi, but to his surprise the Therians had struck a tree with their giant axes on two sides, completely cutting it from it's roots in one swing. It fell to the ground with a creaking-like thunder. Another Therian chopped the end off as it became a battering ram for them to thrust at the gates. Suddenly the guard's atop the wall and towers were shooting crossbows, and Isabelle was swinging her bracelets around, now smokey, flaming dragons that followed her hands wherevere they swung and engulfing the bolts posing a threat to her beautiful face. Nyru found himself then reflecting or dodging the odd bolt, some of the guards even knew fire magic and were hurling balls of flames at them! Anita rolled out of the way of one fireball, and Aubus flung one aside with his bardiche's edge. Nyru though, found himself unable to protect himself from one as a bolt distracted him elsewhere whilst he shouted "we need cover!". Hopefully someone else can save him
Then the gates burst open, the Therian's attack with their make-ship trunk made a shockingly powerful battering ram! They Therians then flooded through the gates and into the streets, the very few citizens still out screaming at the werewolves, who seemingly ignored them, and only went for the guards already at the gates, throwing them behind walls, clutching them in their jaws and tossing them aside. Then the horsemen flooded through.
((sorry for beign long again D smile )

"Don't most power hungry villains prefer to make themselves comfortable once they can what they wanted..." she stated smoothly after Nyru comment. Darris, she hadn't met the man...and she was already greatly despising him, Adi was sure it wouldn't end with despising either. She was sure by the end of this she would hate him even more.
As for the gypsy, she was about to test that theory and prove herself right.
A thundering ordering and clearly not very friendly voice rang out through the still air and down to the ground and gates they waited before. Adi's head shot up toward the source and she was angered and panicked to see just what it was. A solider and a citizen, one begging the other threatening, her heart beat in her chest while her head raised with any thought that may help save the man's life. Nyru was with her, begging his mother, and the dark haired gypsy looked to the authortive woman for help.
There was none.
"We have to do something..." she breathed, not realizing it was aloud, though no one around her would realize that Adi wasn't speaking to those around her but rather the angel inside her.
Zuriel was slow to answer while the man pleaded and struggled. '...there could be something, but we risk much...'
"One live is worth no less or more then any other..." she said in quiet reply. "If you won't do anything, then I will without you..." Adi was firm in her words, and her stiffening body was clue to that; tightened legs to kick Croix into a run, and her fists tightening on his reins. However before she could make a further more a harsh grip on her arm just above her elbow stopped her. Head whipping around to the person in question, honey brown eyes burned shining bright gold.
It was an Occult solider, he had been watching her in his all stoic nature. Dark hair and eyes to match his dark state of dress, and his gloved hand with a strong unrelenting grip on her arm. Adi glowered at him as he held her back from her objective, only a raised brow to mark what he saw in her eyes.
The man's sharp cry however of pain filled her eyes and the golden light died, as Adi saw the man stabbed and his lives blood hit the wetland ground of the Land of Crows. The carrying woman that she was she attempted to kick Croix into at least catching the man but the solider's grip didn't waiver and she watched as magic killed whatever was left of her hope to save the man flung from the gates.
Adi stared horrified at the cruelty and monstrosity ways that Darris followed; no respect for life, no empathy or compassion, nothing but the motive for power and dictatorship. Even as the world exploded in activity around her, Adi stared at the blackened charred remains left of the man that hadn't been afraid at first to stand up and speak out. Questions of his family or those that loved him came to Adi's mind. She made no move to go forward and the solider gave no indication of letting go not until all rest of the horsemen were headed towards the shattering gates. Gates Adi hadn't realized hadn't realized till then were gradually being split apart by a tree as a battering ram.
Then the cry for cover came out and before she knew it, and part of her realizing it wasn't just her that was acting, Adi was giving just that. Hand raised above her head, a golden sheet of swirling dust and particles mixed with light beams blocked the arrows and on-slot of other projectile magic.
"There's your cover, now we truly wage justice again Darris' dark ways," Adi spoke with a slight undertone of another voice being there. Now in with the rushing mass of liberators she was through the gate and into the city once more where she met Nyru and Claudia.
With them now inside and now many of the armed or gift guards protecting the gate running away or dead, her shield dropped with the dropping of her hand back to her horses reins.

Claudia Vesslia The armies arsenal towered over them which created an intimating view, but from high up not so much. Nyru sheathed his sword because he probably found inspiration in her monologue or was it Adi's determination or may it is the intensity of this moment? In any case, the boy was ready and willing to fight like the rest of the troops gathered around the fortress. The quadrupeds trotted impatiently in the back while the fleet stood there ground waiting for Aubus and Anita's cue. By the looks of Aubus with his bardiche's clutched and his posture glorifying, he didn't need words to announce how eager to take off he was. The last rays of sun light twinkled on the tip of arrow head until the sun ducked before the mountains in the far east. The sky red a redish purple shade that would soon fade into indigo and dark blue. However, the crimson that was about to be spread all over the pavement would turn a sickly black in the dead of night. The smell would be etched in her nostrils to the point where she'll want to vomit, and the corpses will cover the streets. The innocent will be in just as much of a state of repair and panic during the aftermath especially with no governed official. Why does war have to be ugly?
The blonde tried not to think of the gruesome event, though it was unavoidable, and listened to Anita's final declaration. Three...two...one was shorty dismissed seeing as one of Darris' guards pulled a cowardly stunt. He dangled a bystander out in front of him like a fish on a hook ridiculing the insignificant werewolves, casters, shadowmancers, and light wielder before him. The guard thrived off of the poor weak man struggling and groveling before him, but what reason did he have for doing this? Wouldn't this act contradict the safety the fervor provides for his citizens? Right now the people should be rebelling until they are to constricted by fear to take a stand which is rational given the situation. Everyone has some kind of friends or family they want to protect and this guy is no different, unfortunately he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her partner became out raged and stepped forward to rebuke, but the gypsy beat him to it. Adi snapped Croix's reins and galloped to the front lines only to be stopped by one of the Occult warriors. She almost blew their cover, but unlike herself Adi was self righteous and would sacrifice her life if it was for the greater good.
The knight made his proposition clear without anyone's consent on the subject matter of weather this soul should live or die. Claudia placed a firm hand on Nyru's arm when he pursued his mother to act. She shook her head and was going to respond with some blunt a*****e sounding answer when the guard displayed the cruelty for her. The man was doomed from the start, and one life cannot count for a million so a hard choice had to be made. A sword protruded out of the man's abdomen, the guard shoving it in further for pleasure, and then yanking it out in one tug. Blood splattered on the wall's edge and the body that fell began to diminish into ash from the weapon igniting him. His clothes were all that was left and she was sure his family would fine those possessions to grieve and treasure them for the rest of their days. Now they were angry so the battle will become more memorable because of that one unforgivable action.
Anita gave permission to advance and the werewolves ran to the gates, but did they have the strength to break them down? Several pounds of wood could equal up to one sheet of metal including the size and width of the wood. Eerily, an supernatural mist involved the werewolves so they could transform into their true natural forms. Brown or black fur grew over their skin, their already massive physiques doubled, and addition body parts appeared on their anatomies. Claudia stared in disbelief at their shadows as a group of them attacked the gates with brute force. She stilled held Nyru back eve those the invisibility cover had lifted and it wasn't necessary to, but in a moment he returned the favor. A tree collapsed on the soggy surface behind them so the Therian's could use it as a battery ram once it was cropped up. The guards on the top of the wall were begging to scramble seeing their only defense about to be permeated.
A collect of arrows rained down on them, however, the raven haired light use conjured a barrier of warm light to shield the whole party. Although, it was only able to sustain itself for a certain amount of time before it canceled itself. Isabelle performed her magic as impressive as ever because glancing at the fire whips from the corner of her eyes it looked like a dragons dancing collaborating together. Bolt ejected from guards all over the wall threatening Anita, whom dodged it flawlessly and Aubus, who knocked it away with one swing. Nyru and her on the other hand weren't about to be so lucky, but she wouldn't let the boy get a scratch on him. His parents would kill her before the war is over for her neglectfulness against their son, and she didn't want more of their disapproval. The shadowmance grabbed him by the collar of his armor and yelled, "Aubus, Anita catch!" She half pushed half threw Nyru to them and then fired an arrow at their feet creating a shadowed doom to conceal them. It would last through the explosion, meanwhile she would conduct her grand escape by using the Prince's mark.
As the bolt impacted, she vanished and ended up on the back of her young suitor, Vincent's horse. That was the last place the woman had been before she went to the join Nyru and Adi. The gates were broken and with a cacophony of hails the cavalry rode ahead to take their turn. At first, the blonde wrapped her arms around Vincent's waist, but since he was doing the steering she will be the shooter. He placed her in front of him and held her with one arm as she fired at the guards on the walls. She pierced two in the jugular right underneath their helmets. Hopefully, Nyru saw that she was okay when she passed by so he doesn't freak out. Since she was heading inside, he would be stuck with his parents but at least she could go on knowing he would be secure.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
There was a silk-like flurry of golden light as Nyru whipped his head around to observe the situation, Adi used her magic to protect those who she could, and in Nyru's time of need. She saved more than just him with her magic too, it would just turn the arrows t dust. When a fireball came though, Claudia saved him once more, throwing him to his parents in an effort to preserve his fate. He felt a thrusting motion come from his side, and when he next looked up Aubus had caught him and then darkness surrounded them. Anita quickly asked "Are you okay?" and Aubus replied "He's a strong boy!" before pushing him back to a stand beside them. Claudia then went past on horseback with one of the Therians, and Anita could almost see it in slow motion. Perhaps she did have her priorites right... saving Nyru like that. And that Adi girl, she was sacrificing herself as much as any other tonight.
Nyru let his circlet unfold to a true helmet, and with the thundering crash of the gates and the sounds of Darris' men failing their first defence he tried to find a spot to safely invade. He found somewhere nearby Claudia and raised his hand to use what the Prince had taught him, he felt the warm sensation on his hand before suddenly seeing the world around him move in slow motion as he seemingly jumped forwards to the spot he chose. When he got there and the world returned to normal, a guard was rushing towards him, perhaps a bit surprised by Nyru's sudden appearance. He used his side to thrust the guard aside whilst he could to find a soft spot. That vampiric armour was cursed and strong, only a few would remember that it was the Prince of Crows' vampires that used such means. As the guard found his footing, Nyru shoved his blade's hilt to the man's throat, the blade was missing. Nyru commanded his sword's blade segments to surround the man in a circle, and each segment came at lightning speed around his throat as he was beheaded. Blood splattered over Nyru's helm and made his mouth and teeth tighten. This was the effect of war, and if not for his loyalty to the queen and his people then he would prefer to cower and hide.
Isabelle rushed past just then, and suddenly Nyru felt a warm sensation rush past him as a serpentine dragon's head made of smoke, ash and a red magical glow appeared. Isabelle commanded it as it engulfed a guard in it's mouth, and an explosion of ashes followed somewhere in the dragon's gut but it vanished. Aubus and Anita was off fighting some of teh guards further behind, and the Therians were doing their thing also. Charles had just killed one of the guards nearby a home, and through the broken door he could see a cowering family, he looked to them and thye feared him, just as much as Darris' men. So, he changed back into a human for a moment, and with their inquisitive glares he promised them "Please, we won't harm you. Get to a safe place, a cellar, attic, strong doors. But before this night is over, Darris will no longer be in charge". The lady then screamed and pointed behind Charles, and as he turned his body was engulfed by the same mist as before, he lifted up his arm and with it a great flail that, once gribbed by a werewolf again, came plummeting down on the guard's body.
Nyru glared to a cranny and saw a dead Therian on the ground, one of the guard's was towering over him, and a dark, fog-like aura was coming from the Therian's body and into the guards' mouth and eyes. "What the?!" Nyru exclaimed as he shook his head and raised his hand. He summoned a flurry of crows to engulf his target to disorientate him, and then he appeared behind the guard to bury his sword deep in his back before shoving the now-dead body onto the floor.
This couldn't be all Darris' men had, surely these were just the lesser skilled men on the outskirts. The deeper into the city they get, the more, well trained guards they'll find. And even if they don't have horrific powers like Darris, Nyru was sure that the Royal Guard might be a challenge... that's if Darris has actually managed to brain wash any of them.
Above the darkness and the shame Above the torture and the pain Above the ridicule and hate Above the binding of our fate When it started All we wanted was a chance to live our lives Now in darkness Taking everything we want and we will rise

Barrier that she had put up and let down, Adi realized took more effort then she first thought it would. There was still a lot about the power she wielded that she didn't know, plus this power was divine, she was human. But Adi also noticed that her shoulder burned, making her cringe and a distraction while casting that barrier to protect as many as she could.
"His mark doesn't like me using your power Zuriel..." she murmured while holding her shoulder as the burning ebbed away.
'It would appear that way Adi. Unfortunately we had to discover that during a battle...Adi behind you!!"
Spinning about the saddle quickly, the gypsy was bringing up a dagger in protection of the attacker Zuriel let her know about. However it wasn't that simple as a enemy guard coming at her, rather he had thrown something at her. A dark dagger flying through the air barely seen in the dark town but more so with the dying light of the sun. Still she was able to dodge to the side to the point that the weapon only sliced across her neck as a slight cut versus embedding itself in her throat like her attacker planned.
In response Adi's dagger flew from her fingers, and mid travel to her attack the daggers blade grew longer to the point of a sword, however the blade was washed in that golden light. That golden blade cut through the dark cursed armor like a hot knife through butter. Leaving the man crumbling to the quickly blooding ground, and Adi wide eyed as she stared at the dying man...the man she killed.
She hadn't ever killed a man before...creatures, already dead people made to move my necromancy was different.
'Calm Adi...this world is not all as you see it as, it can be dark and cruel; remember you are saving more lives here then taking...'
The gypsy turned away and nodded to herself but she was still shaken by her actions. For now she would do what was needed, when it was after this she would let herself crumble. Right now her strength and light was needed here and she would do just that. So taking a calming breath in and letting it out, her little meditative moment was disturbed by whimpering from beneath a produce stall. Raising a brow she dismounted and with quick strides was before the stall and throwing back the blanket that covered the lower part of it. There the gypsy found a group of urchin children in a wide range of ages, the oldest scared but guarding the rest of them.
"I suggest you find somewhere saver to hide. We aren't here to attack the city and it's citizens, we're here for Darris and his men. You needed fear us, but in your travel to find a safe place spread the word that we're here for him and his flowers alone and that the citizens are to find a safe place an stay there till they are told otherwise."
Adi left it at that and lowered the blanket once more, the children would do or not do as she asked. That was up for them to do, she couldn't babysit children and the Occult soldiers as well. Mounting Croix once more, Adi searched and found Nyru in the crowd and trotted up to him. Holding her neck to stem some of the bleeding, the gypsy noted the blood covered armor and helm and the dead guard at his feet, but his stature was stiff as well which worried her.
"Something wrong Nyru? Did you find something?" she asked, unsure exactly what to expect from battle and what made her friend so tense to the point she could see it through his armor and helm.

Claudia Vesslia Nyru and his authorities definitely saw her ride by and what got to her was that Anita didn't scorn her. She wanted to release tears of join knowing that the couple may finally accept her. Once they passed underneath the arch of the gate doors, guards from up top of the wall fled down the cement built stairs carved into the walls for easy access. The vampire armored adversaries, though generally weak but stronger in hoards surrounded them only to be intercepted by their comrades. Werewolves had the leg muscle to Pogo over the wall, and run to the accelerate towards the scene at light speed when they sense one of their own in trouble. The beast snatched the men in their three stumped sized paws and squeezed hard enough some of them manager to crush the men inside their armor. The ancient vampire relics were stunning, but no armor is impenetrable unless a person holds that thinking to a certain standard. If the whole army trembled from their metal casings them they would be admitting defeat before they even started.
The exposed neck between the helmet and the curved collar of the armor was by far the most popular part to assault. Axes and swords swung horizontally to that area to decapitate the enemy defeating them in one fatal blow. Now a miss occurred now and them resulting in a guard just begin wounded, but it was still good enough to finish them off within seconds afterwards. Claudia shoot an arrow on the ground and as protocol shadows extended from the arrow freezing the guards in their tracks. No doubt becoming the simplest targets to kill without a fuss. Nyru didn't stay far behind because when the blonde turned their he was confronted by an opponent. His array of blades floated around the man until their tips pointed to the man's throat and all at once plunged into it. The shadowmancer was bathed in crimson which must have disgusted him or brought him a sense of pride.
Isabelle wasn't far behind her brother because once she appeared she burned several guardsmen to death with her flaming dragon technique. Ashes disbursed from the area and flowed on what little wind currents picked up inside the city. Charles even surprised her with his combat skills and the concern he displayed for a family cowering inside their home. A guard tried to pull the wall over his eyes when he was occupied, but the mustached Therian's arm reached out striking him down in one blow. Nyru even took down a man with strange powers that consist of him sucking away the energy from the werewolves with a flock of crows.
Claudia wanted to dismount her ride to run over to her friends that Adi just now joined when Vincent snapped the reins. He tightened his grip around her and she didn't want to question him because she assumed it was for her own protection. They eclipsed themselves in the shadows by entering alleyways and other means of cover in order to advance towards the Black Palace. When they neared, another sector of stronger men surround them and even knocked them off of their horse. The animal neighed and ran off leaving the two to stand by to back examining the men wondering who to attack first. Well at least that's what the blonde was thinking, the young suitor on the other hand had his own agenda.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
The adrenaline of battle was pulsing through his veins as if he was born to do this, everything he had been taught had amounted to this moment in his life. Fighting for his country, his city, reclaiming it from a corrupt 'lord regent' as Darris calls himself now. It never felt more right. When he had stopped thinking to himself he found Adi by his side, she was still okay thankfully, and wondered what he obviously had on his mind. He he shook his head slightly before admitting "He- he just... absorbed something from that Therian. Is- is that... what we used to be like?" he shot up a glare to her in realisation, his masked head wondering if he was right. His race, when they were vampires they would thirst for life energy, and was that how it happened?
Nyru then looked around for Claudia, him and Adi were standing, or mounted in her case, amongst a sprawling mess of running guards, roaring Therians, blood was beginning to pave the floor, and Nyru could have sworn that he felt shadow magic coming to play. He came to the conclusion that Claudia was gone, she was either off fighting, or she was in trouble. She never left his side, they relied on each other too much. "Claudia's gone!" he shouted, swinging his head round. Suddenly he heard the sound of shouting behind him, Aubus was fighting off a guard with his Bardiche. He lunged first and then after missing attempted a downwards slash but missed against as the guard quickly grabbed Aubus by the throat. "Dad!" Nyru shouted, swinging his blade behind him towards Adi's horse as shadows accumulated around it, crawling onto the blade like a magnet. To be quicker, he thrust his spare hand into the shadow of a wall and in an instance it was like he had teleported. With the power of a solid shadow he moved with speed to quickly and skillfully plunge his blade through the guard;s neck to release Aubus. Gasping for air he said "thank you... look out!" as he shoved his son aside and deflected a giant fist of shadows as it crashed into the wall in a flurry of debris. When the dust cleared, Nyru and Aubus saw several shadowmancers walkers towards them, three of them walking in unison feeling empowered and perfectly at home in their dark purple and black robes.
One of them began to draw the mark of Declasia into the air, the symbol that empowered all the shadowmancers in the Land of Crows. Once the ankh was drawn out of darkness into the air, the magic began to work its magic but Nyru beat them to it. He had drawn one into the air too, and he was by far more skilled than any other shadowmancer in the city, he knew that. When his symbol of declasia was complete, he flung his arms back, as if he were a monster and felt the energy thrive through him as he collected the shadows and behind him was summoned a giant black knight made of darkness. It had purple glowing eyes that pierced the souls of all it glared at. The shadowmancers had tried to summon something, but Nyru acted like he was the giant knight, and used his sword to swipe at them, the giant using its own as it plumetted intot he shadowmancers and sent them hurling towards a wall unconscious.
The spell canceled and he returned to reality for a moment, hoping to find Adi was still okay!
Meanwhile, Anita was up up on the rooftops, she jumped between two buildings and fly-kicked a guard down ontot he floor, when she landed she ducked as two struck each other in the chests, and when she rose up she used her tonfas strike the last of them up the chin, and then used her other to knock him down tot he side before kicking him down the rooftop. She knew her weaponset wouldn't do too much to their vampiric armour, but she didn't want to let them lay a finger on her, either. If what she and Aubus thought was correct... then perhaps Darris had found a way to may Vampirism live on. Something not even the Guildeam would allow.
Aubus then commanded "Caster's! We move deeper!" pointing towards the Black Palace. The Therians finishes off the few guards left here and accepted the orders too from Charles, who beastly shouted the same command.
Above the darkness and the shame Above the torture and the pain Above the ridicule and hate Above the binding of our fate When it started All we wanted was a chance to live our lives Now in darkness Taking everything we want and we will rise

She had just managed to see the tail end of what Nyru was talking about. Adi saw for a few moments, that span of a few seconds at the tail end of where that guard sucked 'something' from the wolf that was needed as the Therian fell to the ground to never rise again. The gypsy shook her head at her friend's question.
"I don't know...I know so little about your people let alone the nature that you evolved from. Perhaps when we finally reach Darris, he can answer some of our questions," she said firmly.
Just like how battle could change quickly their topic of discussion quickly changed as Nyru noticed Claudia's lack of presence. Adi knowing that the three of them particularly her and Nyru rarely separated for any length of time. Whipping her head around in attempt to see what she could through the chaos of the battle, the gypsy found nothing. Adi kept searching till the cry of alarm addressing his father reached her ears quickly and once more she was searching but this time finding.
A cry stuck in her throat, Adi tugged Croix around in the hopes to help and assist in some way, however, Nyru had already reached his father and helped him before she could, even on horse back. Thinking the sudden panicked moment was over, she smirked at the father and son image. However that moment didn't last as cry of warning came from Aubus. Spinning around in the saddle, she saw just what was coming and made to urge Croix out of the way but she wasn't fast enough. The shadow cloud of whatever it was struck her before reaching the father and son. A flash of sudden golden light however separated Adi from the mass of shadow, though protected the brute force of it still flung the young woman from her horse.
Her sharp cry of alarm was cut short as she struck part of a wall as debris flew everywhere. Adi herself didn't know what had happened after that, as she had passed out for a few moments, but when she did come too her ears were ringing and her body ached, particularly the side of her head. Groaning, she managed to push herself to her feet when Nyru found her with a concerned look on his face.
"I'm fine...just battered a bit from being flung from Croix," she said in a husky voice as the ringing stopped and her vision cleared. The throb around her temple made her reached up and on her tanned fingers was a bit of blood. "A scratched and bump on the head...clearly I'm not doing so well in this battle," she said with a smirk.
With the cry to move deeper from Anita, Adi pulled herself up off the ground and found a frazzled Croix not far away. Back in the saddle, she nodded to Nyru, determined to move on, her injuries were far from concerning and plenty of others had worse and still showing more battle spirit then her. Not knowing when she was really needed, Adi hoped she could hold out till that time with as much strength as she could.
"Come on, we move deeper and we still have Claudia to find in this mess."

Claudia Vesslia These palace guards were a force to be reckoned with because their armor felt impenetrable. They wee heavy suited for combat and even contained chair mail around their necks. All weak spots except for the back of the knees were covered so it was hard for Claudia to strike them down. Vincent, on the other hand, was picking up the fleet with his giant werewolf claws and tossing the soldiers around. The screamed at his touch, but for some reason when she glanced back the scene looked rehearsed because not once did he try to lay a scratch on them. Although, this whole time he hasn't really fought either so he not be inclined to war like she was trained for. The vampiric armor vibrated and chimed whenever it was stuck with her arrows. The blonde did perform the ricochet routine hitting a few men in the back of the knee cap only for them to collapse for a minute before returning to their duty. Again, her partner just continued to throw the on coming guards aside before they regained their balance and stood their ground. Claudia's gut indicated that she should forget this endeavor, and go find Nyru and Adi to be with them. She didn't want to give up on her chance at love though because she knew Vincent and her had some kind of sexual attraction.
More guards exited the cathedral type building and clustered in the back to create an unbreakable formation. Specifically they were ordered to keep her trapped inside and slow her down to the point where she couldn't use her transporting abilities. The Therian had been let in on this plan knowing that once Claudia was down the others would come. However, Nyru and her were the true objective the rest were expendable unless they got down on their knees begging to join. The thought had crossed Vincent's mind, and the deal he made with Darris seemed more and more intriguing. Enough quarreling, he wanted to see the blonde shrouded in blood, not to where it would kill her, and bring his bargain to light with the King himself. All the troops were in position and the girl's breathing became extended as sweat rolled down her face. Her legs began to tremble under her and since she was so focused on what was in front of her, she didn't sense him from behind. Lightly creeping up to her, he straightened out his four sharp tipped fingers, and with one swift jab his fingers projected out of her side.
The adrenaline subsided to allow the shock of pain to take over. She tried to scream, but her voice and lips were so parched that no sound could escape from them. Her blood tainted her dress and trailed all the up the her neck as well as drip into a puddle that would soon be a river in time. Her eyes widened as her head turned back to looked into the eyes of betrayal and deceit. "Why?" She choked out before blood came gushing out of her mouth and down her chin. The tears didn't sway the beast from smirking and disconnecting his claw from her side. He made sure to miss vital organs and would only let her bleed to the point of unconsciousness. Those were direct order and before the female impacted the ground he grabbed her by the waist tucking her under his arm. The arches vision blurred and she couldn't think in the mess of confusion, but she noticed the ambiance darkening. They infiltrated the group of soldiers who moved away for them and laughed at the state the female was in. It didn't take long to get inside and travel across the red carpet to the throne room. Vincent did all the transporting for her and when they made it into the ruler's nest, he dropped her to the floor without regret.
The woman held her side in pain as she examined the blurry throne and the lack of illumination. "Darris?" She wheezed out as more liquid spilled onto the marble tile. "I brought the girl as promised so I assure you that you will fulfill my part of the contact?" At first the voice was rough and inaudible in his wolf form, but in the middle of the sentence he shifted back into a human. His voice regulated and finally became understandable.
