Xartarius Her shadow pulled itself into the circle, and the ground seemed to cool unnaturally, a thin layer of frost forming. A black fist, wrought of ancient magic and blackened steel erupted from the ground, a man made almost of what looked like sludge following behind it. He flopped on his back and took a huge breath "Why... what happened?"She was looking into the greasy, sludge covered face of Morik Draven Kikyo jumped back when the person came out of the ground. "I did not think that was going to work I will be completely honest with everyone." Slowly getting closer to the being, she felt like she knew who this creature was. Her memory began to flash. Morik "No...this can't be. Morik?"

He flopped on his back and took a huge breath "Why... what happened?"She was looking into the greasy, sludge covered face of Morik Draven Kikyo jumped back when the person came out of the ground. "I did not think that was going to work I will be completely honest with everyone." Slowly getting closer to the being, she felt like she knew who this creature was. Her memory began to flash. Morik "No...this can't be. Morik?"The sludge began to flow and form into his trimmed black suit, his one good eye clearly shining through the mess "Yeah. Its me. Live and in the flesh for the first time in a long time"He tried to get his footing, but his legs wobbled under him "Damn, been awhile since I've used these"

Kikyo cautiously moved forward to the being and touched the sleeve on his suit. Not knowing how to feel, she took a step back and looked at her companions. She felt sick in her stomach. Another new mystery that needs to be solved.
"Should I be scared?"
Her arm burned a little with energy as she was unsure if he had betrayed her like Inferno had, or what she had been told by Roy.

He scowls "Only if you doubt my love dear. I have returned from the Abyss to help you rebuild. What was done in my absence was monstrous, and there are things that must be... rectified. I've been cut off from the font of my power. I cant return home. The shadows no longer dance at my call. Tell me my love, what have these fools done?"

"Morik...I don't know. I've been dead too. I'm not actually on the throne. I just recently came back from the Abyss myself. Apparently there was a man who had ruled Hell for a very long time since I've been dead. His name was Oni. I say was because he has disappeared. When he disappeared, I had come back." Kikyo waved her arm over to Roy. "You remember Roy? He has informed me of great tragedies. Like my good friend Inferno has betrayed me. And the shadow realm is gone. That's why the shadows don't dance anymore. I just found that out. Now the last bit I want to know, how long have I been dead?"
She looked at Roy once again.
"I need to know how long I've been gone, so I can try and estimate how much training and seriousness of my return is."

The woman was thankful to the man Kikyo spoke to. If one had been studying her movements they would have seen her tails tense. She couldn't tell them her real name...she didn't trust them that much. Even her history shouldn't be told. She just hoped Kikyo would forget her earlier questions.She kept silent and listened to everything. Taking in the new face and what was being spoken.

"Farewell Janus. I will acquire the Dragon Orb upon reaching our destination. If you find out what has happened to Oni track down Kal. He will know how to contact me." said Roy referring to the object he had given Kal before he departed. After watching Janus make his own path to find the missing Leader of Hell he turned to see Kikyo being lead off somewhere. He turned to the women who was new to their party. "Perhaps we should know your name? Also, it is our job to make sure Kikyo returns to her throne. We are all she has right now. Please fail don't fail her."
Roy then darted off to catch up with Kikyo. When he finally caught up to her, he noticed some sludge taking form into Morik. Roy was unsure who it was but after listening to them talk to one another Roy was able to see the obvious. Roy would slowly approach Morik. "I know you. I have read about you. You were believed to be a myth but I can see that there is no myth about you. I read you fought along side my father during his glory days and did good deeds for Hell. I also read about your end. Cruxis turned on you but if that is the case then how did you survive? It is rare to survive the fury of my father."
Roy felt he was being rude to not introduce himself. "My name is Roy, Roy Salazar. I am the only son of Maya and Inferno. Sadly, Kikyo speaks the truth. Inferno no longer fights for Hell. he sided with Cruxis some centuries ago and now I believe like you and Kikyo he has return to carry about Cruxis' plans. Between him and Raphael, Hell was almost wipe out of existence. It is important that we address this problem with haste. I plan to hunt him down and take care of him myself if needed. My father must pay for his sins."

As he set me on my knees and the end was at hand, he told david to look away. When he did, Inferno took me into his shadow and absorbed me, blasting the ground apart where I once knelt with such fury there was to be no doubt I had been killed. I have been with your father since the Cataclysm. Were it not for me, their battle would have spilled over and destroyed the planet. Your father knew this would have to happen, so I was his... insurance. When he was freed, he cast me back into hell that I might reform. But heed my warning Roy, you meddle with a power you cannot begin to understand. I have fought alongside your father since the beginning of the First Great War. He is far beyond anything you can handle on your own and would surely kill you. I can handle him, but first I must reconnect with my power"

Kikyo looked at the ground as she listened to the two talk. "Morik, the problem is that Inferno is with Cruxis. The very same people that killed you. To be honest I'm unsure of how I died. I cannot remember how I died. Does that not bother anyone or is that just me?" She looked around at everyone for a few moments then looked back at Morik. "Until then, we just have to make due. I'll do some research to see if there is any way to fix this problem. But to do such research, let's go back to the city and let's get this ball rolling." She pointed towards the way they were walking. Apart of her wanted to hug Morik, but right now she needed to stay strong for Roy and the new mysterious woman. She can't cry, can't break down to her husband, could not do any of that. And with everything else going on right now, this was not the time. "Trust me, I don't want to believe that Inferno would do this. But right now, we have to assume all of the possibilities."

Kikyo looked at the mask in shock, then back up at Morik. "You mean to tell me that you are with the Cruxis?" She was now becoming slightly upset. Kikyo pushed on his chest, hoping to push him back a little. "You don't think that's something for me to know?" She pushed on his chest again. "I'm your goddamn wife and you didn't let me know of that? Or the fact that Inferno was in it either? I trusted both of you and you guys couldn't even let me know this one, not little, but big..." She held her hands up in the air and took a deep breath. "We will discuss this later. We need to get to a safe place." She started to walk away with her hand over her face.

Kikyo stopped in her tracks and turned around. "I don't really know what to think right now. I'm still trying to process that I have been dead for quite a while. So my mind is on certain questions like 'How did I die?', 'Why can't I remember?', 'Who killed me?' and how did they get away with it for many of years? And no one is telling me how long I've been in the abyss. How many wars have I missed? How many people do I know are still alive? And do I have any friends left to help me? Inferno? Who knows. I sure in the hell don't know anything that is going on. I don't know what's going on right now. I'm seriously breaking down on the inside. I missed you Morik. I missed you the moment I woke up. But right now, I don't have the time to go off my emotions. We need to get to a safe place." Kikyo began to walk again.

The woman took carful note of the information she was hearing. Morik....Kikyo's husband. Her associate had told her lady Kikyo had a lover,but she had chosen to ignore it at the time. Cruxis....it seemed her fate was sealed to that organization. Fate.....Zanza. She could see n possibility that the group would survive Inferno. Unless .......no. Letting them know she had that ability would raise alot of questions. This wasn't going the way she'd planned.
Lady Kikyo......allow me to....train you and your friends. It would be my honer. My associates will protect you as long as you need to. We always hoped you'd return. You weren't forgotten,your not alone. Many demons Remeber your fathers rule,helping his offspring would be their pleasure.
