BALLOON POP
She tried her hand again and sadly it wasn't as good as her first. Either way she was super happy that she was able to win something. It made her happy as can be, and this prom was starting to be better than her last one.

Molan was becoming an utter pro at losing track of people. Miasma had started off after a few words and left him as lost as to how to feel about things as before. Sorting anything out at this point seemed dismal. Which was why the boil, after giving up on finding the ghoul once she'd vanished into the crowd, had chosen to wander somewhere a bit more peaceful. There were a few less people and well... he could rest a little. Relax, try not to worry about things.
Which wasn't working at all.
A light sigh escaped him as he slumped a bit in the bench, staring ahead idly at the carousel as it bobbed along on it's path. He wasn't really looking at anything, it was just him stuck in his own head. Mostly wondering over how he really thought of a certain ghoul. Like... and like were, in fact, two very different things. He knew he liked her. Yes. But really, now it seemed a bit unfair to be ambiguous on like. Even if he himself wasn't the most sure of it. So perhaps, he was just spending the better part of his time trying to debate it in his head. Because, while you really shouldn't ask someone to prom if you didn't like them, he wasn't sure how far that went.
Would he get jealous if some boil stole her time? But he always got upset when people borrowed his friends... and... Nope not a good judge. Another sigh as he stared ahead, his face still a touch rosey tinted from the very discussion he was having with himself in his head. And attention? Oh he was paying none to the outside world. Anyone looking for half a second could realize he was lost ins his own thoughts, a bit cross with the endless debate that was getting him nowhere.

She wasn't quite sure why she had wandered away from the games tent, since... wasn't that where she had last left Molan after she... irresponsibly ran off...
Really, she wouldn't blame him if he got mad, or hated her after this. She was being incredibly childish.
"You're just confused about your feelings, aren't you? You do like him, do you not?" Miasma frowned, turning her head to face Psy, who had been relatively quiet throughout all this. "I..." "There's nothing wrong with liking someone, Miasma. And I'm sure he likes you too." "Well, of course! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have asked me to be his date if he... hated me..." "But you want to ask him if he likes you... more than just a friend, yes?" "Psy!" "Well, why don't you ask him, he's sitting over there."
The reaper turned her head, and caught sight of a familiar-looking boil, who seemed to have... an angry expression on his face. Oh no...
"Go. If he really is angry, the least you could do is apologize, right?" Miasma sighed and nodded, slowly making her way towards the ice demon.
"...Molan?"

He would have been upset, wouldn't he? Actually, he'd been a bit upset when Miasma showed up with Etzer and was staring at him. Because he hadn't known why, and... perhaps this was a bit of why his brother had been so cross that one time with Xiu? Even if it was all in jest? He had been cross, perhaps a bit jealous. Which meant he did like the ghoul, right? More than as a friend?
Because he'd never really had issues with his brother being closer to people. He didn't mind, Etzer was always there. Always a part of his life, so sharing anything was fine. Well... minus the bells. That was a personal matter and he knew better than to touch them. Regardlessly, he was just trying to avoid the topic, to not have to worry about it. It was easier to just stare ahead, his chin resting on his hand. T think of other things and not debate his own half hearted feelings. This. This was honestly why he'd avoided people. It was easier to be aloof, polite, but separated from them all. Even their father made that point painfully clear. Growing attached to things had it's dangers. Loss, jealousy, the great chance of making mistakes. It made you sloppy really.
Even so, it wasn't like it was all bad. It was just... really complicated. So much so he really wanted to just drop it at this point. Alas. Seriously. Alas. Answers were needed to a degree. A bit sooner than he probably realized. He hadn't even heard his name, dug down too deeply in the own pit that was his thoughts. That hole just kept seeming to get deeper. It was a good several seconds later that his gaze slowly slid over toward Miasma due to the close movement. A few more moments of that lost stare before he suddenly seemed to have the gears click into place and that faint tint to his face darkened as he suddenly shot to proper posture. He was still sitting, but up straight, ears perked to attention as if some kid who'd been caught slacking off. "Oh! Uh... Miasma, when did you get there?" How long had he been oblivious?
Oh jack, this was rather embarrassing.

Miasma blinked at his reaction, and raised a hand to stifle her laughter. "Just Mia." she reminded him, smiling. "And I just got here. I hadn't noticed that I wandered away from the games tent until I saw you sitting here."
She gave him a concerned look as his face seemed to darken.
"Are you... ok?"
A pause.
"Are you... mad I ran off again?"

Oh, right... he'd called her by her full name without thinking. Such a silly mistake, but honestly he hadn't truly all been there. Some part of him was still in that argument in his head. Though she didn't seem too upset, and he could only nod a bit as his gaze slowly slid back in a random direction. That carousel was a good thing to stare idly at, steeling a glance from the corner of his eye every so often. "I found myself over here after I couldn't locate where you'd gone to." He replied, offering a light shrug before neatly folding his hands in his lap after a moment. "It's fairly peaceful compared to the rest?" He added, making idle chat really.
Though then came a rather dreaded question. Was he fine? Well, yes. In all truths he wasn't hurt or particularly bothered... sort of. If you ignored the mess his head was in. Simple as the question was it quieted the banter as he stared ahead further, the smile dropping from his face as he once more gained the troubled look from before. Which likely prompted her next question. This one, however was much easier to answer. He near instantly shook his head in response, glancing at her briefly as he spoke before realizing it was a terrible idea and going back to the carousel watching. Excuses. "No! No no, I was never cross about that. That's not it..." Nope. Not at all.
He had other problems. Being angry over someone roaming off for whatever reason was... well... he sighed, slumping down a bit as his ears fell and he dared a glance toward the ghoul again. "Well... I was just thinking-" Because if he didn't say something it would just get worse and worse. Really. "-I well I mean." A brief pause as he took a breath. "Could we talk a moment." Right, calm tone. He could totally do this.

Tyshina had just left the photo-booth and games tent. She had no idea why she had come here. Something inside her just wanted to feel like a kid again, and here she felt like she could. The place was like a fantasy, as she held her new-found doll in her hand. The one she had one from a fun game day! It was a dream, that you could see in her eyes.
The wheels, and lights she had so much to choose from. It was like a dream come true.
As she walked towards the rides she noticed a wheel. One that looked like almost her broom on a bigger scale.
"A wheel! Oh yay!" she said aloud as she raced towards the ride. She had this look of happiness. She was so happy that she didn't even notice the pairs of couples and friends. All she saw was the wheel, and she couldn't wait to board it!

The reaper wasn't quite sure what to make of his responses, only frowning slightly as she fidgeted with her hands and followed his gaze to the scarousel. Did he... want to go on it?
"Ah, sorry..." she managed, when he mentioned not being able to find her. Jack, she knew she was a difficult ghoul to keep up with, she wasn't even going to deny this, but... but Molan was her friend. He didn't deserve to have to put up with this behaviour. She honestly didn't know what was wrong with her.
When he reassured her that he wasn't angry at her, she only frowned, wondering what then could be bother him. Maybe... it was something she said? If so... she needed to...
His request was met with more eagerness than necessary, as she stared at him wide-eyed, needing to use all her self-restraint to prevent herself from nodding her head excessively.
"Y-yes! I-I mean, yes, we should... probably talk..." She stepped forward and sat down beside him, straightening her dress.
"... What did you want to talk about?"

Thankfully, it seemed that Miasma did want to talk and... was ok with it. Perhaps a bit more so than she should have been? Not that he was a good judge, but... well... "I was j-" Suddenly he stopped at the sound of a loud voice as a ghoul stampeded past. Off to the large fearris wheel it seemed. Well that was fine.
Interruption aside, he looked to his side where Mia had taken a seat before stealing himself for what he was about to say. Anyone could tell that such discussions were not a strong point for him. Holding his ground against other arguments? No problem. His own personal feelings? Bowl of sopping mush. Why had his father never properly trained them on this? Wait, no... their father wasn't very good when dealing with mother. It was no wonder perhaps. Right, back to the point. "I-" No, that was terrible. He couldn't start like that. "The text from my brother... it... well it wasn't entirely off base?" Had he meant for that to come out as a question? Oh well, too late now. "I mean... I-" This was a lot harder to say than he'd initially thought, but being a touch unsure still made it more difficult.
Liked her? Yes. But he wasn't going to go off declaring undying love or anything. He just, liked her more than as just a friend. Yes. "I do like you." There. Said. That wasn't so hard!
...minus the fact he felt he was going to dissipate from embarrassment.

{ Enter} Rosy was giggling the whole time she ran from him, actually having a blast because they both seem to be happy at the moment. At his comment, she glances back then smirks "Sure you are, just like you let me win at casketball." the smells didn't seem to bug her too much, but she did make as ace at them both a brief moment.
Catching sight of Spinar at of the corner of her eye, she was tempted to take of faster until she felt his hand brush her own. Glancing down only for a moment, she couldn't help but slip her hand into his as she gives it a squeeze.
A tie was better then winning, just because it would be Spinar.

The interruption was both welcome and unwelcome, and she only gave the witch a look as she dashed off towards the rides. Well, they were... in a somewhat public area, so, it wasn't like they could monopolize this place all to themselves. Besides, she doubted there was an actual quiet place anywhere around here, what with some many students around.
She sat and waited, doing her best not to fidget or bite her lip, or show any signs of anxiety or discomfort, but as she tried to figure out what Molan was going to tell her, she couldn't help but be nervous. What... was he going to say? She knew he was patient, but surely... he'd at least be SOMEWHAT irritated she kept running off, or... just... augh, this was no way to treat your date. Maybe he was tired of it, and wanted to... no. But, maybe...
When Molan spoke, interrupting the many scenarios conjured up in her head, she only blinked, staring at him. Wasn't... entirely off-base? So did he mean... and then her face completely flushed when he confessed, a bewildered look on her face, as she, she... aughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
"I... I..." She could hear Psy's quiet laughter at her reaction. JACKDAMMIT MIA BREATH. She took several quick gulps to calm herself, hoping the colour in her cheeks would substantially fade. It only got worse.
"I... like you too... a lot... maybe more than just friends..."Where was a rock to crawl under when you needed one?

Oh Jack! And there he went not being clear and... his father had lectured him endlessly over the years of always being clear and concise and- and here he couldn't even properly explain it. Anyone could misconstrue so much of what he was saying that it was a wonder Mia was even catching any of it. Seriously. Then again, she was probably interpreting it as she saw fit to suit her. Which thankfully, was accurate to what it was meant to be.
Thank. Jack. They were sort of on the same page.
Though, if the pale boil could get much brighter a shade of tomato he probably did as she replied back, eyes dropping back to his own lap. "I right. Like more than friends." He clarified quickly, thankfully she hadn't been upset. But also a bit confused as to what to do now. There. He'd gone and said he. He hadn't exactly thought of what to do after. Not at all.
He'd just wanted to deal with that one issue before it gnawed at him anymore. "I... I just thought I should say that much." He added, voice trailing off a bit as her's had. "After thinking about it..."

Mia wasn't sure if she wanted to laugh or cry from relief. So Molan... felt the same. This made her incredibly happy, and before she could stop herself, she threw her arms around him, hugging him tight.
"Thank you, Molan. You have no idea how happy I am to hear those words." She released her grasp, afraid she might made him more uncomfortable, and wiped away a tear. Jack, her eyeliner was going to be all messed up after this. Crying over something so silly, really.
"I guess... I was just... really confused at first, and I wasn't sure how I felt, but... I really do like you, Molan, not just as a friend, and... I was just scared, because I wasn't sure you felt the same way..." At least now they both understood how the other felt. Better late than never, right?
She took his hand in his, smiling at him. "Do you... want to go on the scareousel? I saw you eyeing it several times before, and... it does seem kind of fun." They weren't going to get much done just sitting there comparing who's face was redder. Besides, she had a slight advantage with darker skin. It wouldn't be fair.
