Miles shrugged. "On occasion, though I prefer the lake," he told her. There were three rooms in the house total: the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom. "Um, are you okay sleeping here?" He asked. "Um, I mean, don't let me impose," he told her with a slight smile, scratching the back of his head.

Miles nodded before motioning for her to follow and walked into the bedroom. "This is the bedroom, I-" he paused as he realized the situation. There was only one bed. He hadn't accounted for that when he invited her over to sleep. "I...sleep in here," he ended, not turning around as he stared at the bed.

Miles held up his hands. "No no no, you can have the bed!" He told her. "I wouldn't make you sleep on the couch."

Miles nodded. "Uh, sure!" He replied, leading her to the third room in the house: the bathroom. Inside was a simple shower, sink and toilet. Fortunately like the other two rooms of the house it too was completely clean. Miles did a thorough job of taking care of his own place.

Miles nodded as Noira stepped past him into the bathroom and closed the door. He walked over to the couch and slowly sat down on it, staring straight ahead. His first kiss. And several after that. And now she was here in his apartment with him taking a shower. He still felt his heart thudding in his chest as he thought back to them together at Starlight Point. As if out of no where, a broad smile appeared on his face and he couldn't make it go away. He leaned back into the chair and closed his eyes, letting the silly smile stay as long as it wanted.

Miles sat patiently on the couch as he waited for Noira's shower to finish. It seemed like everything had happened so fast. They had met up seemingly at random and spent the day together. Then they were at Starlight Point. Then they...kissed. Miles touched his lips, recalling the softness of hers. His smile still lingered as he realized how much he wanted it again. Did she? Now she was here, in his house. He glanced over at the bathroom door. Slight steam was wisping out from under it. The thought of her disrobed suddenly popped into his head, causing his heart to almost leap out of his chest. He let out a breath and shook his head before hearing the shower turn off. The thought of her undressed was still playing through his mind despite his attempts to focus on something else. He finally pushed it out of his mind though his heart was still pounding. He waited for her to finish still sitting on the couch as he thought of what he could say to her. She would be sleeping here...in his bed. He....wanted to be there with her but....there was no way he could say something like that. The thought excited him and scared him at the same time. He had never done anything like that. Besides, she might hate even thinking about the idea of it after what she had been through.
