Perhaps no one had realised that Ruby wasn't enjoying a discussion about herself, and maybe Lucas had failed to put things into words that she appreciated, nevertheless the conversation ended. Then there was some silence and time for thinking in their heads. Ruby ended the conversation softly but Alexis understood the perhaps bitter meaning. "Lucas" she then began. Her voice echoing an ache within her soul. All this deep talk of their past and their meaning made her begin questioning herself, and reminded herself why she aimed to become the best wizard of the era.

" You say the monks seem to be able to research a person..." she spoke slowly, in deep thought between each sentence. " i want them to help me... My... My father dissapeared many years ago. He was on an expedition in Zakernand, in the wilds. But he never returned." she then sighed. " his entire team vanished... And not long later the investigation was left to vanish too. Where is the justice is that?"
"was he a part of the Maues Runes expe" Lucas asked before being cut off. ".. Yes, how... How did you know, it was top secret?"
" it is my duty to understand past and present, and with my current position, nothing is secret to me. But as for your father, i dont know what to say. His team were researching for the sovereignty az you know, Zoltan Maues... A dreadful... Wrongfully educated wizard who attempted to join the syndicate by failed, left markings and upon vanishing, so did the runes, and so did your father... The sovereignty rather oddly pulled back the investigation not long after to apparently focus on stopping Zoltan from being about to do the same things he did before"
"sounds like Voldemort" commented laxion. And then Lucas replied with " hes exactly like Voldemort, he wants nothing but to rule Non-magic Earth, and to get our realm to follow him. I would very much like to help you, Alexis... But-"
" but the anomaly left behind suggests an entire segment of time vanishing... Like everyone has ever said..."
"yes.. IM very sorry Alexis..."
" its okay, in used to it. Besides.." she then attempted to perk up. " i want to go back to the Land of Crows sometime anyway, i want to help Ruby find her friends" she then smiled with a thumbs up.

Laxion was beginning to feel involved in stories that were so unlike his own. He had a good life, a simple life, where no one had died, vanished, nor even been forgotten. but in his heart he felt it right to make them get the lives back they deserved. Besides... it was becoming boring staying at Asmodius all the time, training one day, training the next, and then training again yet another day. Then occasionally being beat up by the commanding general and being told he wasn't good enough. No, he was going to stay here, he was one of Team Elixer. Then Ruby suggested using that angelic artefice! "That's..." his eyes darting around at the floor before looking up "perfect". Alexis went forward to defend herself and say "You don't have to worry about me, i've learned to live with it"

"Nonsense"

It took a few moments for them to realise who spoke up, but then wasn't it obvious. Lucas had cupped his hands together beneath his chin, like an elder now he wisely looked upon then. The orange, glowing light flickering from the grand fire beside them illuminating his cheek and mixing with his pure blue eyes. "I'm sorry to say it but you're father and the rest of the unit he was a part of vanished from time and space. It is completely impossible to find him, time travel is and always will be impossible. Whatever it is that happened that day... happened with out choice. Perhaps... in the name of peace and sanity." Lucas said, softly speaking in deep thought and putting a firm foot down. "look" he then added, looking to each of the three in their eyes. "You three need a break. I'm dispersing the official team Elixer for now. Lysandiel believes for the benefit of Hope then you three need time to explore, and to recover..." and then he gave a suspicious look to them. "without our very watchful gaze". He then stood up and from the layers of his cloth left an object as he made a quiet exit without further speaking.

Then, like epic music had began ringing in the back of their minds, Alexis, Ruby and Laxion looked down at this lonely thing on the glowing stone floor. It was the circular, golden set of rings taken straight from Lysandiel's scroll. And Lucas just said they needed 'time to explore'. And then the triumphant music blasted through their minds, Laxion and Alexis looked up to meet the gazes of each other and Ruby if she had the same idea. Like a fire lit before their eyes from a giant match, representing the start of a new life, their life, the way they want it. They had been through a lot, they met, they achieved, they won, they believed, they failed and they lost. But what hero is without their losses... without their sacrifices and without their misery. For who is it that decides the outcome of all this? Who forges the path through the demons thrown at our every turn? Its themselves, and they certainly have all the weapons they need to create that beacon of Hope, like a mocking jay to all those that don't believe in them.

They have all of space to travel, Magic Earth and Non-magic Earth. The only place they could not go is Heaven, which apparently that dial is missing. So what is it first?

Each of them taking a gaze at the heavenly rings left behind by Lucas, they pricked them up into their clutches, admiring the hand-made design... or were they made similarly to angels? Rumour has it angels are made of pure light, and that their existence echoes the big bang. Gawping at the ring between his fingers Laxion began to speak, but Alexis softly intruded.

"Well... i think there is more to it. I mean, i've done a lot in Technological Arcanicity" she began, talking about class, but Laxion had no clue, likely neither did Ruby. "But these artifices must work similarly" she examined all three of them from where she sat. "They're each a part of the puzzle. Whilst we each possess one, we cannot travel without the other." she then placed her ring on the floor, and asked for Laxions. "ahah" she announced, pressing something on the ring. Each ring had a circular flat surface on its face, depicting zodiac or astronomcal designs. But when used properly each one would emit a glowing dial. Laxion's ring emitted the first dial, then Alexis did teh same to heresm placing it beside Laxions.

"See! Each of our rings is one of three parts to the mechanism, the images overlap and when finished it is exactly the same as the mechanism on Lysandiel's scroll!
