Alfheim was reminded why they were there in the first place when he was handed a red bandana and his pleasant conversation was cut short.
Giving it a quick tug around his arm he suddenly found himself what felt like a game of dodgeball of all things. He spent most of his time ducking and covering, making sure to split from his conversation partner, who had ended up on the opposite side.
Eventually, though, he took offensive action and caught one of those balls he was dodging to hurl into a group he could've sworn was wearing blue, but it was hard to tell in the mass chaos of a melee. Hopefully there was no friendly fire!

Red Team!
The distraction posed by the start of the “battle” came at a good time for Ganymede, who did not relish the idea of attempting to make more awkward conversation. He would have liked to talk with Pasiphae longer, of course, and was a bit disheartened when she ended up placed on the opposite team—he was certainly not used to her being on any other team but his own and momentarily lamented his loss of a sympathetic ear and encouraging smile—but he was glad to be interrupted before he could say something rude that might have sent the newly introduced page scampering off for reasons other than her own social ineptitude.
Ganymede took the proffered red bandana and folded it into a headband, which he then went about tying to his head in a 50s style bow in the hopes that it would stand out among all the other red on his fuku.
Then it was simply a matter of figuring out what he wanted to do. There were a few recognizable faces on his team: the page he’d just met, the sunflower Senshi he recalled from the ambush, Oberon—good, he could keep an eye on him—and, of course, Valhalla being the most notable.
After quickly bustling up his train to keep it out of the way, Ganymede moved to scoop up a few tennis balls and hopped up onto the nearby balance beam for the advantage of height. Looking over his opponents, he tossed a ball at Valhalla and said, “Go easy, yeah?”
Who to aim for then? Not Pasiphae. He didn’t know that he could bring himself to do that just yet. Sessrumnir would have been a sure bet, but he seemed to be pretty occupied at the moment and Ganymede didn’t want to risk hitting someone on his own team in an attempt to lob at ball at Sess’s head. Maia, maybe, but she was his friend, too, so he’d probably end up feeling a little bad about it.
Well... there was always Maia’s boyfriend.
Grinning to himself, Ganymede tossed one of the tennis balls in Lassell’s direction once he’d spotted him.
He did so enjoy being a pain in the a** when it came to his friends’ boyfriends.

Here was the real test. Her feet of fury had done pretty good, but now that she'd 'landed'.. she was about to be outnumbered. Two eternals and another super senshi. It was a good thing Juno didn't usually care about that thing, or try to think about her odds.
Moving instinctually, she righted herself back up on her feet before lashing out with her elbows, hoping that she'd hit someone and push them back if they happened to be trying to come at her.((Sorry guys, Juno is roughhhh (Poor Athene knows!). I've already given Kaori the okay to kick her out if she gets too bad but.. feel free to beat her down a bit or complain to Maia if you like XD)) Quicksilver the Archangel

Red Team!
Palatine was not exactly prepared for this training session to turn into a game of dodgeball, although she supposed she should have expected as much given that very few of the people there looked as if they were out of high school. Thankfully, she was placed on the opposite team as Sessrumnir. Hiding a satisfied smirk, she tied the red bandana around her upper arm so that it would stand out against her white sleeve as she took her position with the remainder of the red team.
So... who were her teammates? Two Chibis—how lovely—a streetwalker with wings, Thor, a senshi with obscenely long hair, another ruffled page, a basic level Senshi, a rather aggressive mid-level Senshi in green, a page who looked quite out of place in a winter coat this close to summer, and Alfheim.
Well, at least there was one person she recognised, and Sailor Hair was already trying to flatten Sessrumnir, which would have earned a round of seriously amused laughter if Palatine didn’t suddenly have an Eternal’s fist heading for her face.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Palatine said in a rush, quickly lowering herself to dodge the fist. It grazed the top of her head and knocked her hat off, and she ended up sprawled out on the ground for her efforts.
“Already got plenty of work done today, thank you,” she said and attempted to right herself.

Sessrumnir had barely finished tying the blue bandana around his upper arm to signify his team before he was suddenly tackled from behind! He didn’t quite make it to the ground, but he definitely stumbled enough to need to grab onto some of the equipment in the room to keep himself from smashing his face against the ground.
“Woah woah, do you greet everyone you meet like that?” he half joked, half attempted to distract her as he tried to pry himself free. He hadn’t even been ready for the training to begin, but he wasn’t really sure what they were supposed to do other than beat eachother up.
“Aster, huh?” he asked, straightening back up, feigning a hurt wrist from grabbing support. She seemed pretty into this fight, but he wondered just how much. He wasn’t exactly a fan of beating on allies... Unless they annoyed him. “I think I’ve seen you around...”

Maia watched as the pages hat came of her head and she ended up on the floor. She of course stopped and back away a bit. She wanted to give the page time to right herself, but also want to be out of the way of her hands or feet should she think to retaliate.
"Try to get back on your feet as quickly as possible," she adviced, "I always advise that if you're down roll away and push up from your stomach. It's easier and faster to get up that way. Doesn't really need saying, but a nega won't stop because you're down."
Maia didn't at all notice that the other page was older that her, nor would she have cared if she'd noticed. All she cared about was making sure when if came down to business the senshi and knights came out on top. She didn't want other's struggling through this so much if she could help it.
She grinned and jumped onto a stack of mats near by, "see you around. I'll be back."
From the mats she jumped onto the spring board and back onto the floor and lopped a small bean bad at Columba more to get her attention than to hurt her. "Ready for round two," she called even though round one was more a session of tag in an attempt at redirection where as this would actually allow Columba to have at it on Maia.

-blue team member-Lassell blinked as the tennis ball Ganymede had thrown at him hit him, wincing lightly. He was pretty certain he hadn't formally met Ganymede or any of Maia's fellowed senshi he would need to that at least once. He tossed the bean bag he was holding at Ganymede.
Hoping it would hit its target. He glanced around to see what else there was to toss. He pushed more ammo onto the pile that Ida was collecting. This was a good strategy but the hard part was getting enough ammo.Red team hp: 589-9=580

This time, Sisyphus bit down on the yelp at least, managed to take the attack with grace as the girl tugged him across the floor toward her. No. No yelping, but just a little bit of surprised panicking; kicking out with his feet a bit harder than he really intended, completely without grace or style. He would look as surprised as anyone when it collided, his eyes big and shocked, mouth opening into an unhappy 'o'. "Crap! Crap! I'm sorry!" RED TEAM HP: 580 - 7 = 573

Massalia squeaked at the assaults flying at the red team, and the Chibi senshi made a 'HAAARUMPH' motion, taking aim at the nearest Red Team member, and suddenly, he sent another soccer ball flying, before running. OK, he wasn't fully 'getting' how this worked, but he had the sense to weaponize. It was a perk. He did see Horatio in the crowd, and perked seeing his magical kitty. YEEEE! Now he was happy!

Red Team!
It was a disappointing reaction.
Ganymede didn’t bother dodging the beanbag and simply let it hit him on the stomach, seeing as it was only a beanbag and couldn’t be expected to hurt much. It dropped harmlessly to the floor beneath the balance beam after impact, and Ganymede considered his remaining collection of tennis balls.
As much as large groups of Senshi and Knights made him uncomfortable due to the bad things that always seemed to happen when they gathered as well as his habit—should he call it a talent?—of pissing one or two or more of them off for one reason or another, he’d been looking for a bit more out of Lassell than a hasty toss and near apathy. Annoyance was always amusing. Frustration, too, if it came about the right way.
Really, he just enjoyed taunting the special people in his friends’ lives, particularly in the event that it lead to some light-hearted bickering and mild mocking—and especially when he got in some good digs.
What could he say, he liked the attention.
Ganymede threw his last two tennis balls at Lassell in quick succession, aiming right for his head, mumbling a song to himself to lighten the mood and fill the gym with sounds other than planning, shouting, encouragement, and exclamations of surprise. “I don’t know about you, but I’m feelin’ twenty-two~o. Everything will be alright if... you keep me next to you~ou. You don’t know about me, but I’ll bet you want to~o...”

Trying to back up a little more and put a little distance between herself and her opponents, many of which who seemed to be trying to hoard the ammunition, Juno scooped up the closet thing to her.. a strange flippy floopy thing made of foam.
Grasping it in her hands she swung it, but do to it's lack of sturdiness it wiggled just right, completely missing any target and giving little more then a whoosh sound. Stupid noodley thing. Juno hit it against the ground once as if to punish it for it's failure. Should she try again or just toss the stupid thing away?

Having Juno in the middle of their cluster was a bit of a set back to their defensive position and Ida ducked as the green senshi swung about with a pool noodle. Luckily, she seemed to miscalculate its wiggly...ness and it swung wild, giving the blue team the chance to retaliate.
Stepping inside of her reach, Ida swung for her with a punch straight to the chest, hoping to knock her back or distract her or something until the defenders could rally and beat her off. This was a sparring session, and while she might refrain from using her actual magic since it was slightly damaging one, fists and feet were fair game as long as no one took more than bruises.
"Push her back!" She called as she gathered herself for another attack, a ball still clutched in her hand. RED TEAM HP: 564 - 2 = 562

”Thanks,” he called to Ganymede as he caught the tennis ball that was tossed to him, rolling it in his hands as he looked for a target. “This is more like a game than training, but at least we can see how we’ll work together,” he observed with a glance up at Ganymede.
His partner seemed to have found an opponent to attack, and otherwise occupied. Now all he was left with was an opportunity to observe those around him. Maia’s boyfriend already seemed to be reacting to Ganymede’s attack, and Sessrumnir was being attacked by someone else on his team. Oberon was off doing who knew what...
And he knew they were there to train... and he knew it would benefit them all... but he couldn’t bring himself to attack anyone.
Instead, he rolled the ball in his hands, keeping out of the way of the others.

Blue team member
Lassell winced as he was hit in the head twice by the tennis ball. If they were any harder he would get knocked out and unconscious. He shook his head at the impact, wasn't there like some kind rule against hitting someone in the head.
