Luminita smiled and laughed softly at Yukiko's comment about her getting bored. "There's no way I would be bored here. My ability just has the wonderful side effect of draining my energy as it does its thing." She spoke in a light and somewhat quiet tone as she continued to look at the books, glancing at Yukiko every now and then with a smirk.

Luminita watch Yukiko curiously as he started to apparently show concern over the side effects of her ability, but once he was done asking questions, she simply shrugged as she leaned gently against the bookcase beside her. Shoving her hands in her pockets she glanced at the ground and then back at Yukiko. "Well I've been spending a lot of time with you, like you said, and also have been near or gone by a bunch of other people with abilities throughout that time. And I'm just barely yawning now. It shouldn't be too bad, but let's see how it goes when I sit in a classroom full of people with abilities..." She stood up straight again before facing the bookcase and pulling out one that looked kinda old. The title on it had something to do with magic spells. "Ha, and I thought this stuff was only in Harry Potter books..." she said softly to herself.

Chimera

A young woman with a aura of calm surrounding her walked into the library. She wore a black hood, and an odd dress that had a neckline that lay horizontally beneath her collar bones, exposing her elegant throat and the rich tan skin of her shoulders. The dress wrapped around her torso in black flexible cloth that looked oddly reinforced somehow, almost like armor, and the sleeves were long reaching down to her knuckles. The bottom half of the dress has two slits up the sides to her hips, allowing easy movement for her legs, and went down to the bottom of her calves. The slits actually seemed to rest a bit too far forward as their lines ran down the front of her thighs on the very edges, causing the back half of the dress to seem as if it were curling forward to hug around the woman's hips. A pair of black, flat-heeled, thigh high boots finished her outfit. The young woman looked about, and not spotting what she was looking for, stepped forward to sit in one of the comfy chairs, pulled out a book from the pouch on her hip, and began to read.

Chimera

Chimera looks up at the man standing before her. He doesn't look like anyone she's met before, but the book and glasses seem familiar. I am only here to meet one person for private lessons, Mera thought to herself, meaning this man can only be the professor. Mera calmly stands in a swift, graceful movement, then bows to her professor. "Yes Professor, I have been waiting patiently."

Chimera

Mera sat down graciously at the table across from her professor. She looked to him and calmly stated, "Control I have already mastered, though it would be wise for me to continue practicing such as I grow in strength. Spells will be most welcome, as I do not know how to use my energy for things other than the base abilities of my race. I know of power, and what it is, but I do not see how it can be taught. Such must be found and earned by each individual. If by power you mean you will show me how to attain it, then I assume we will be practicing form quite a bit." Mera tilts her head and a slightly confused look crosses her features, "But length? Do you mean endurance? Fending for oneself since the time of childhood tends to give a person plenty of endurance." Mera then looked down to the books before her, curious to see what the professor had laid out. "There is one thing, however, that I have yet to unlock." Mera looks back to her professor and traces the fingertips of her left hand over one of the silver swirls on her skin. "This silver is the gift of my family. When a Life-bringer is born, they are given a mark on some point of their bodies. As the child grows and their abilities awaken, the mark begins to absorb life energy, creating a Reservoir of energy. As the amount absorbed increases, the mark grows. Once a Life-bringer's abilities begin to awaken, they are taught how to access and use the reserved energy. Each family has it's own mark, and weaves the spell of the Reservoir with their own flourish, making it a difficult spell to steal or replicate. My parents and I were the last of the Featherling, and so any knowledge of our family's spell died with them. I have tried over the years to access my reservoir, but to no avail, and a Life-Bringer with no Reservoir is incomplete."

Chimera

Mera seems to sit straighter with pride, her head held high. "Featherling. Our crest is a silver spiral," Mera taps a small, unassuming spiral just below her left eye, "meant to represent the never ending cycle of life and death."
