Ian was in a terrified daze - it turned out he was one of those people who didn't cope at all with stress - and couldn't focus on the conversations around him. Something was very very wrong and he was helpless to do anything about it. He wouldn't be able to con a rampaging madman or creature into believing he had more power than he did, words no longer had the power they normally did.
He fished in his pocket for the gems he didn't really believe in but which seemed like the most important thing in the world right now. Whether it was bullshit or not, he needed all the luck he could get.
He followed the group Lenny seemed to be heading off with, because going it alone was unthinkable.

Chris had to admit that this place wasn't too bad, despite his previous snarks on the whole facility. The next morning had come around, and he thought things were going to be all good again. That was, until he saw the mangled body smeared around. People were starting to panic, and well, bad things all ********. We're all dead," he groaned. Though, one of the staff members called for people to round up to head somewhere safe. Safe? Yeah, that sounded like a good idea. "Count me in. No way in hell I'm sticking around this mess." Not too many volunteers and more going to the docks. Well that was their choice really, she'd try to help those who chose it. So with a quick look to her watch she decided she'd waited long enough. "Last call for you guys." She stated in a loud voice before glancing at those near her. A few guests it seemed. "Let's get going." She added before starting for one of the side doors. Best NOT to leave the way that most were. Frankly, that just called for attention.
She quickly headed out and showed the group to the sewers and would be back once more to check for any stragglers who might be interested in following, but obviously time was running out and she wasn't going to sit around all day. "Yes, we're going underground. It's unpleasant, it may not be the happiest place, but a dragon or anything larger won't fit." She stated quite plainly to anyone who might have complained as soon as she opened a manhole for them. "The critters are also never kept down here, which means they won't think about it." She added, eyes narrowing. "And most aren't bright enough to have it occur to them. So I'd say this is about as safe as it gets. We might even be able to make it somewhere more useful this way." She added, glancing in the direction of the docks as she ushered the group down and turned back to check for one last pull and figured it would be enough.
...if she lived through this she was so quitting. Yesterday.[EXITING WITH HER GROUP TO THE SEWERS.] (( Anyone who wants to follow MAY do so until the first prompt. After that Rin had already left and you didn't see/hear the calls. It's too late. Otherwise feel free to still say you saw her/watched her group going and followed along. AKA YOU HAVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO JOIN US!As a side note. Rin is a security staff, so yes she will jump between you and whatever appears. Or you can assume that. ))

Bear had smelled the blood as soon as he'd come into the dining hall. Unlike Steve he didn't recognize it from feeding lions at the zoo. Bear recognized it from the time or two he'd run across a predator with it's fresh kill. Which didn't comfort him.... Especially since that body looked a heck of a lot like an animal had gotten to it. And so, Bear went into what he considered survival mode. His eyes darted back and forth watching for danger. He frowned had his friend bellowed repeatedly for him. Going up behind Steve bear dropped his weight onto his shoulders. "Don't shout, shouting attracts attention you may not want. I'm here." He said, then nodded in the direction of the staff member that seemed to be a security type that Steve had been talking to. "We may want to follow her." Raja Bear has arrived. Following with Steve

The tentative smile she had offered Algie to begin with turned into something brighter, spreading across her face despite the slightly panicked look in her eyes. Her hair was a mess, her clothes a rumpled form of what she had been wearing the day before, likely because she had tried to sleep in them. At the introduction to another woman, Lydia blinked, squinted, blinked, and squinted again. Had that woman been there the whole time? Well...it wouldn't be the first time she had embarrassingly not seen somebody who was standing right in front of her. Might be the last time though, if they didn't get out of he--- Stop it, stop it, you will get out of here, just like you've gotten out of loads of other sticky situations!"It--It's nice to meet you." Would have been a lot nicer under different circumstances, but hey! Safety in numbers, right? Lydia gave her a large smile as well, because it just seemed like the right thing to do, even if it did look completely out of place given the situation. "Safe place? What's wrong with here---" Oh right, the blood, the corpse..... "We...don't really know where might be safe though. Shouldn't we...." Ask somebody? Stick with the largest group? The words were on the tip of her tongue but never made it out of her mouth. Quote: Guest Name: Lydia Stiles Guest Profession: Crazy person Cryptozoologist Descript: Smalle, willowy, lots of fly away, frizzy light brown hair that is tied back in a very messy ponytail. She is wearing a grumpy cat t-shirt, shorts made from torn off and worn out jeans, hiking boots, and is carrying a tan canvas bag that is full of useless things. She appears to be in her mid to late thirties. She's a little...weird at times~

Standing around looking for his friend Steve felt his shoulders get heavy He turned to see Bear standing with him "finally you show up." He gave a little relieved smile. " Uh right no shouting got it." Steve wasn't used to this type of thing, he's never had to survive anything other then daily life. He felt his heart slow a bit now that Bear was with him again he could sort of relax. "ya follower her." Following the Security lady out the opposite way everyone else was going. All he heard was something to do with underground and the creatures never been there before. He was all for it at this point. " hell what do we got to loose." He turned to Bear with a nervous look on his face EXITING TO SEWERSsrry dbl quotes had to fix tag

Nadya had a pleasant conversation the night before. A pleasant sleep.
...A not so pleasant morning. As she observed the dining area there was a paleness to her skin as her eyes widened and tried to take it all in. On a empty stomach.
This may or may not have been a good thing. She choked back an urge to dry vomit.
It felt as if her mind was full of all sorts of little thoughts and worries before she tilted her head about as if suddenly aware she was not in a safe place. Nor were her charges...
Why yes. She was going to worry about Fynn, Ariel, and the others right then. It was hard not to. Her heart started to pound frantically and it was almost like it was the only thing she could hear, "I...I have to go and.."
And off she ran heedless of danger[EXITING]Quote: Staff Name: Nadezha Utkin [Goes by/Listens to Nadya] Job Description: Staff - Handler - Mostly at Underwater Center
Physical Description: She stands at around 5'1 with dark brown hair that cut about shoulder length and usually kept in a braid. Her eyes dark brown colored - they almost look black. Nadya is not very thin, in fact she has curves, and well built legs - like she could probably crack heads like swallows eggs with them. She smiles often and wears perscription glasses when she reads. She has a Russian accent and is very proud of her heritage.
Brief Character Profile: Miss Utkin is friendly and cheerful it probably has a lot to do with the fact that she deals with water creatures a lot - her specialty having been dolphins while she was working in college for her Marine Biology degree. Nadya never intended to stick around Wonder Park and wanted to persue her own research, but things happened. Nadya had gotten attached to some of the critters that she works with. She is motherly and protective of those she cares for.

"Our lives, judging from that corpse." bear said wryly responding to Steve's rhetorical question. The fast that the staff was acting this way meant it was probably true. This didn't look like staff trying to fight needless panic, this looked like staff in hardcore mode. Which meant something had gone horribly horribly wrong, in a place full of creatures with unknown habits and personalities, that may act nothing like the myths they were based off of said they should. Without saying another word he headed down into the manhole of the sewers uncomplaining. It was more easily defended. The only issue would be food and provisions. {Exit To Sewer}

"Yeah. Our lives. Maybe a few limbs. Perhaps dignity," Hawkeye shrugged. He didn't add anything else as he made his way to follow the lady. He wasn't happy about their destination, but... eh. It was better than staying up here with things that wanted to kill them dead.

Almost the entirety of the unicorn group had made it to the dinning hall, and Lesley was quick to join them. Mr. Green was welcome to come along, but he wasn't about to glue himself to one person when there was an entire group that he felt the need to keep safe. On that line of thought, where the ******** was Melanie? It was really beginning to eat at his nerves that she hadn't showed up yet. He knew she was a capable woman,. She'd been working with these animals for years now, but they'd never been free before. Never been wold, without the electric leash that was installed into them from creation. It was taking a lot of self control not to simply run out looking for her, but he knew that the best chance of reuniting with her was to remain at the Dinning Hall. "Tonio, Cora, I'm glad you guys are safe." He jogged over to them, one hand coming to rest on the woman's shoulder briefly before falling back to his side. "You too, Tooly." At least they'd all made here safely. That was important. Really important. Hazel eyes flicked quickly towards where the body still lay before snapping back to the remains of the unicorn group. He had a really, really bad feeling about this. It was kind of a given, considering the screams, the blood. The DEATH. But Les had seen more then enough scary monster movies to know that the situation they'd landed in was pretty bleak.

Barry was still sitting in a chair trying to force his brain to come up with a suitable idea, when he heard Rin hollow to the few remaining guests that she was leaving, and was leading them to the sewers. Ahh, good old Rin. Just how she was able to keep a level head right now was beyond his comprehension, but she obviously knew what to. Well, sounded like she did at least. Perhaps it would be best to follow her and the others. Staying in a group would be the best option he had. He then wondered if he could go back to his quarters. Maybe grab a few belongings, and that extra jar of vegi- s**tBarry felt physical ill at realizing he had no idea where half the other handlers were, including September. Sept, the guy who always stole his Vegemite, who he'd have arguments with about who would get stuck in the cube. But for all his little annoyances, he couldn't think to just leave without knowing what had happened to him. He tried to remember if he'd seen him this morning. Nope, not a trace. Was he around here somewhere? Perhaps it was a stupid idea to just shout someones name in the middle of a all out feeding frenzy, so he...loudly whispered, while looking around the area. "Sept? Seeeept" keiifuu Barry's looking for his mate ono ((OOC: not a clue what I'm doing yet so I'ma see what kei's up to <3))

September was going to vomit.
His sister had once explained to him that when you think someone really important to you is in danger, all of the adrenaline makes you sick and theres nothing you can do to stop it. He was seriously beginning to regret the fact that he hadn't taken her seriously at the time. He'd stumbled out of the way of most of the panicking, exiting guests, half out of a sheer desire not to get trampled and half out of a sudden onset of panic that nearly threatened to make him stop breathing all together and kill himself on his own.
There were dead bodies, and everything was going to hell, and he had no idea where Tobias was.
It was funny, considering the mass population of the island had elevated itself upwards of thirty new human beings in the last twenty-four hours and all he could think about was one of them. "******** me," He exhaled, sliding one hand over his forehead. Around him were plans getting thrown into the air. Go through the sewers, go to the docks, go here, go there.
Travel in packs.
It was a smart idea, really. The more the merrier, and all that shitty survival mojo. But he wasn't - couldn't go anywhere without knowing where Tobias was first. ******** a few months of dating, and ******** the fact that they hardly knew each other. He wasn't about to leave the guy alone with an island full of monsters and a handgun. September bit down on his cheek and felt a fresh, metallic burst of flavor. <******** then -
But what if he's already -
"Sept? Seeept."
September opened his eyes and whirled around to find his nose ramming into Barry's backside, a groan echoing in his throat. "<******** - Barry. Barry!" He slapped the others back and turned him around, thrusting his fingers into the others clothes and yanking him backwards out of the center of the room so that they weren't in any danger of getting trampled over.
As soon as the seizure of adrenaline washed out though, September started shaking, his hands tightening in the folds of the Aussie's clothing. "What the hell is going on here? Are you okay?" He shook him, his entire body wired through and tense and ready to snap. It had probably been a really bad idea to take this job after all. His boyfriend was missing now, monsters were on the loose, and who the hell even chose to let a handler with a past of panic attacks on board? "Do you know where anyone else is?" He paused, laughing humorlessly. "Do you know where Tobias is? <******** me, I'm sorry - I just. What the hell. What the hell. I was supposed to steal your vegemite today and theres a goddamn pile of bodies in the dining hall."
September was most definitely not calm anymore. Nope. Not at all.kurotomato squeaks i know you're at AN AND I DONT WANT TO BOTHER YOU BB but september is here just in case but if you're too busy no problem!

This would be the last meal he ever ate.
That was the first thought that came to his mind. People acted differently when they were under pressure. It was inevitable. It didn't mean they were wearing a mask or acting insincere before any more than it meant the brown skin of an onion was a mask. They were all parts of the same entity.
He was not sad. He was afraid, but he didn't fear death. What he feared was the thought of being eaten by those monsters. It was not an irrational fear either. He thought back to a documentary he saw about man eating tigers in Bangladesh and how hunters and fisherman had to wear masks to prevent from being killed. It gave him chills.
When he heard the woman who was part of the security staff talk about going underground, he knew where he was going to go next.
He ran, flailed his arms about, and screamed. There were no words left in this man. Only thoughts.

No sooner then he had started looking for the guy, Sept literally smacked into the back of him. With a muffled curse he felt himself being pulled back out of the mayhem, and spun around to meet whom he was looking for. Relief swept through him. At least one good thing had happened. Though it appeared his British friend was about to kill over just by panic. "I'm fine mate, don't worry about me" He said, before being barraged by more questions as he was shook about. "Ahh! easy with the shaking-" He held onto Sept's shoulders to keep himself steady, his mind still drawing a blank and feeling ever the more guilty for watching the other break down. Though his comments about the Vegemite brought a cynical grin to his face. "Yeah, and I was supposed to take the day off and get drunk. Wish they had better beer on this island. Oh well." His grip on the other tightened. "Listen, I...don't know whats going on." He found his gaze traveling away, unable to meet the absolute fear in the others eyes. "Nor...do I know where this 'Tobias' is. But chances are he'd have to be around here somewhere. We'll go look for him, and then get the ******** outta here." Ha, such a easy thing for him to say when chances are they were all absolutely ********, and the only reason he wasn't panicking himself was his brain had still yet to process anything that was happening.

The day at the park was pleasant but Rebecca didn’t manage to get the shots she was looking for, mostly because her car spent half the time lost. They never did make it to monster mountain. But the food at the dinner was good and she managed to drink enough to pass out with no effort, Camera will in hand.
It wasn’t until the next morning that things really became eventful. The power went out, and that was the first thing she noticed as she stumbled out to the dinning hall, a little late due to the hang over. Oh… was that… Whorl? Instincts kicked in and Rebecca walked over to take pictures of the body. Maybe it wasn’t the best move, considering but she had to do it. It was only natural. Did something bad happen? Her foggy mind ran through what could happen of the power went out and she realized… that Maybe the monsters could get out. They weren’t very well contained.
Several of the staff were gathering people. One was heading to the sewers. Rebecca figured that pretty much anywhere they go they were pretty screwed if the monsters were out, so she followed along, taking pictures of the chaos along the way. She always was a shoot first ask questions later. Besides she had a migraine that made it hard to do much else at the moment.
