As Steve showed the creature her picture she seemed very delighted and curious about it. He continued to flip through the few pictures he had taken " See this one that's your friends over there." He pointed to the kirin and centaur " and this one is of Fynn he's from the Curiosity Coast he's a kelpietaur." He smiled at her.

"It didn't look that way to me...", Wayra muttered doubtfully. Shock collars were only meant to surprise. Those creatures looked a lot more than surprised.

Wayra turned as a man approached her with a question. "On Monster Mountain as we were leaving, a large group of people started gathering the creatures. After that, one of the men pointed something at the creatures and they looked to be in pain from it", she replied, turning to glance at their guide before returning her gaze to the man. "Miss Kiera just said they weren't harmed, but... I've spent quite a few years around animals, mostly tending to injured ones, so I can tell when an animal's in pain. The expressions, their postures... those creatures certainly looked to be in pain."

Looking to see where the man's gaze went, Wayra spied what appeared to be a bipedal fox eyeing his camera. "Well, hello there", she called out softly, wiping her eyes in case any stray tears were still present.

With his attention back on the young lady talking about the creatures being hurt, "Oh really now, "
he said in a concerned voice. "were the creatures doing anything to warrant this extensive behavior from the man?" He could see that the young lady was most defiantly upset about the situation.

Goddddd, PR was not her greatest skill. "One was starting to rough-house the staff," Kiera answered promptly. "Pain is a conditioner to avoid more behavior like that; otherwise we'd have Jurassic Park recreated here. What they get is merely a twinge which, to us softer humans, might seem like a high dose."

Irisa neared, and the lab tech reached out a hand to stroke the kirin's hair as a show of good will. "The creatures here like their life. My job is to make sure they mature into such that they can be seen in public, and I take that job very seriously. That includes watching their health and making sure they understand boundaries. That dragon would have taken a bite out of Zuckerman had we not intervened."

Irisa was instantly at peace the moment Kiera brush her fingers through her hair. Cooing again, she carefully tilts her head so she could get more attention until she heard a shout. Heading snapping up, she turns to see Akiko had the thing that all the humans use. Lifting her hands, she makes grabby hands towards her {Come over here, I wanna see!} she chrips a few times, but stays right where she was just because she did feel safer near the lab teach at the moment.

Tailing thumping the ground behind her, she was actually really excited that she might be able to see one one there thing.

Irisa eyes went wide like a child as she saw the reflections, then her own {That me? How did that happen?} she looks to Akiko in shock then back down at the little box thing. Poking at the screen carefully, she was like a child with a new toy. Before she crawls around to sit in front of Akiko and attempt to look at the front of the box thing.

{They hold this side up towards us...}

She pokes carefully once more at the lens, then grins to Akiko {Maybe that is how it get our reflection?}

The whole time it sounds like an excited Kirin who just found itself a treasure.

"I could reprimand them and return your posessions," Kiera commented with a cool smile. "But I suppose that's not rough-housing enough for you." Nope she was just going to enjoy the man's frustrations and idly stroking Irisa's hair, glancing at the photo her friend was passing along. The wonder in their eyes was a touching sight, even if she'd never show it.
