Natalia Lucile Menard Princess? Ha ha ha. that's ridiculous. There are no princesses here, and i'll kick your ******** a** if you suggest otherwise.
Natalia saw the enemies fist move back, and instinctively threw herself behind one of the wooden dividers. She had spent a long time in the battles on elemental isles, and she instinctively reacted as if this were a power user. Turns out, that was the right response anyways, as the place she had been standing erupted. ********. She put the shotgun over the banister to shoot at him, before ducking fully behind the long cover again to try to work her way quickly to the next isle over. Luckily the wooden divider that separated the audience from the pit area covered the distance well.
Oh, you're a smart one, aren't you. ... are you quite done talking?

"I will do everything in my power . . ." Selene could only hear what was going on in the rest of the room. She heard gun fire and a single explosion and knew that the Elite was no longer going to use peaceful tactics, which, she couldn't really blame him. This had gone far beyond peaceful tactics as soon as one of their own men died. However, she was of no help to him. She could only lay hear and keep as much pressure on her wound as possible. She could already feel the effects of her blood loss getting worse and worse as time went on.
The woman had ducked behind a banister and was now hiding from the elite, using the 'cover' that she had gotten against him by firing over it towards him. He ducked to the side to avoid the shot, using her now lack of sight against her. Though the best thing to do now was destroy the cover itself. "You. Go get Selene and get her out of here. I will delay this woman until you have escaped." The other man nodded to the Elite and ran up onto the stage, heading towards Selene while the Elite launched three punches towards Natalia, aiming one towards her approximate location and the other two to each side of her. He figured she would just keep climbing over banisters, but he knew that was all he needed. To keep her on the run and waste her time.
"Wait. What the hell is he doing now?" Garenth watched as he new target started to climb up the side of the building. How was he pulling that off? He kept his rifle scope trained on his position, although he knew with the current situation he still could not hit the target, but if the target came over the edge of the roof, it would be free game. Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
As Raven finally reached the peak of his ascent he stopped and pulled the sword from his mouth and into his right hand. His left hand held fast to the gutter and his right foot on a nearby window sill. This was going to be a hell of a right. He gave one last thought of his possible tactics and "what if"s then in a movement so swift vaulted up and onto the roof. His immediate action was to roll the right, so as not to give the sniper to line up his shot; that was the intention anyways. Afterward, he began his charge. He didn't just run straight at the sniper though, instead he began his serpentine-like dodging. A jump to the left, a roll to the right, a hop to the left, he was constantly moving back and forth. He made very sure to keep his antics arrhythmical and as unpredictable as possible. This was not the first time he charged a gunman and he knew lateral movement was just as important as forward movement.

And now he was shooting based on intuition. Still predictable, though. He was focusing on basic escape patterns and keeping her suppressed. Meanwhile her mark was dying on stage. The acoustics here were designed by James Trent to be state of the art, and sound carried... still, though. Knowing they planned to rescue the wounded princess did little if she couldn't get a shot off at the stage. She had the advantage here, technically, since every seat could see the stage, but the stage couldn't see below the banisters... which is why it infuriated the hell out of her that this dipshit was keeping her from firing on the stage. If paused to reload or anything she could kill his goony. As it was she had to keep getting out of the way of each shot. The bannisters were about 6 inches of solid oak, but that didn't do s**t to stop whatever he kept shooting at her. This meant that her cover was only good for a few seconds at each bannister level, and the further back he pushed her, the worse her aim would be for killing the grunt. She needed to find a way to re-use a bannister.... hell. A single reload attempt from dipshit would cost him his allies... There was no cover on stage, and his allie would be in the open for several whole moments to stabilize his ally and get her ready to move. She kept blind firing at the guy shooting at her. If she could just get him to give her 5 seconds without firing...
Oh, you're a smart one, aren't you. ... are you quite done talking?

"I will do everything in my power . . ."
The second soldier that came with the Elite was already applying basic medical attention to Selene, trying to get her ready to move. Though she was more stubborn that he thought. Selene stood up, keeping pressure on her wound and looking at the man. "We need . . . to go. Leave the fight . . . to him." The soldier looked at her almost stunned for a few moments before nodding his head and slowly leading her towards the exit.
The Elite kept his fire on the girl, but he slowed his shots to about 3 seconds in between. Firing each one about the time that the girl probably thought he was getting ready to stop. His ammo was about halfway empty in each gauntlet so he knew that he had to be cautious. His goal was almost complete, getting Selene out of the building. In all honesty, he knew that he would be fine if he died in the process of her escape.
Garenth saw the target start running across the rooftops towards him and began wondering whether or not the target knew that his power was gone. Garenth laid his rifle down on the ledge of the building he was on and reached down beside him, lifting the standard rifle and lowering his scanner over his eye so that he could still see the target. "Come on out again kid. I dare you." If the kid came out again, Garenth knew exactly what to do. Burst fire towards the target, aiming to wound, not kill.

Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
Raven quickly fell behind a small what appeared to be air conditioning unit. His hesitation was from the sniper's resistance to fire. Even while he was running and the sniper tracked him there wasn't a single shot fired.
"What are you up to?" he asked himself quietly, now only a mild distance away he could close the distance between himself and the sniper in a short amount of time. However, he knew better than to assume the man was out of guns. If he has one he is bound to have two. Seeing as snipers are used mainly for reconnaissance more so than killing in open battlefields it was most likely a lighter sidearm, short range but quick to kill. Then again, this guy was obviously out to kill, so perhaps he was packing a larger sidearm. For all intensive purposes it did not matter much at all. They were at a stale mate. If he moved this close a gun could get him unless this guy had they aim of a toddler. If he didn't move that was more and more time the sniper was wasting on vain prey. Then, Raven remembered that he had only jumped in here out of curiosity. For all he knew this guy may be a decent guy protecting somebody, regardless of his flying armada. Being in earshot for shouting and hearing the crack of gunshot in the building, Raven gave into his curiosity.
"Oi!" He yelled from behind cover. "Before we continue, I would like to ask what exactly is going on here. I am not interested in making enemies I don't need to make. You must pardon my greeting though, we both know you would have shot me without a second thought. I had to get close to find out what was going on and didn't feel like getting shot in the process." It wasn't a total lie, he was fueled sheerly by curiosity. "What are your people doing here?" He reiterated so as to avoid having the man try and steer the direction of the conversation against Raven.

Natalia Lucile Menard Princess? Ha ha ha. that's ridiculous. There are no princesses here, and i'll kick your ******** a** if you suggest ********! Natalia thought. They were moving the wench. The fact that this man was putting himself in a compromising position told her her initial instinct was right. That girl was somehow a higher rank. With higher rank meant better interrogation. But they were moving the b***h. She wished she had kept her goddamned grenades now. ********. one grenade would end this s**t.... but no. no time for what ifs. the man's firing was slowing down... that meant he knew what she was trying to do. He was trying to eliminate the need for a reload. In an area without cover, the only reason for that would be to keep her from firing on the stage. b*****d. He would be dead by now without the anti-power field. As it was she was relying on her military training exclusively. She was trained to multitask. trained to fire using modern weapons while she built up her electric wonderland. but now...she was just all in on the guns. she brought her shotgun up to fire at the elite, while she brought the smg to fire on the stage. this set up was less then ideal because she was still a woman firing high recoil weapons... ********. if she missed the grunt then her arm was going to be hella sore for nothing. She kept up her normal dodging game, but this time she leapt sideways instead of back. it should renew enough of her cover to be worth it...but if she was going to hit grunt she was going to need to stop getting farther away. If these ******** escaped, she swore glove man would die. He wasn't worth as much in interrogation as the woman, Natalia was pretty sure of that. not from the way he was risking himself here. Her smg was full ammo, but her shot gun was about at half. she had been firing it much slower then the elite, which made up for the cartridge difference, she assumed. She wished she knew the exact extent of that difference right now. She leaped forward briefly, still moving away from the elite. She would need to eliminate the distraction. She might be able to catch the other two if he weren't in pursuit.... maybe. ******** hell, this man was a pain in her a**.

"I will do everything in my power . . ."
The rounds missed both the soldier and Selene as they finally exited the stage. The Elite had done his tasked job and got Selene out of the building. The soldier and Selene met up with the medical team as they got outside and Selene was escorted towards the nearest Helo to be taken back up to the H.A.W.K.
The Elite dropped down to one knee and reaches down towards his waist. Some of the stray rounds had caught flesh in one of the exposed parts underneath the armor's protection. He forced himself back up onto his feet and fired a trio of rounds towards the woman. He now knew that Selene was gone, but he himself needed to get out of the building, or at least try.
Garenth watched as the target stopped behind an air conditioner. He wondered for a moment what the man was doing just sitting still. Then he heard the question. The man was actually asking him about what was going on here. "Our target is power users. We are to retrieve and interrogate them to try and either remove them from this city or find a way to come to a peaceful solution." Garenth had no reason to lie. However, the whole time he spoke, he kept his assault rifle trained on the target. He had no idea if the target was trying to take advantage and distract Garenth so he could take advantage of the conversation.

Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
Raven chuckled lightly, "Call me a hypocrite, but don't you find it kind of hard to come to a 'peaceful solution' when you have a sniper rifle trained on anyone who comes into sight? Now, by 'power users' I assume you mean those of us who tap into special abilities that aid us usually in combat, correct?" Raven continued not awaiting approval of this description, "I suppose we are on opposite ends then aren't we? I am a power user as well so you have a right to aim your weapon at me. However, as I said earlier I have no interest in making enemies unnecessarily. I don't know exactly what is going on but I am willing to sheathe my sword if you put down your gun. Then, we can discuss what's happening here. I may be able to help you out if it so fits my morals. Otherwise, we are just going to be sitting here for too long discussing mindless things like the weather."
Raven chuckled and shifted his position to a more comfortable one, willing to wait if the man didn't comply. "Seeing as you tracked me up the side of that building when I was out of sight I figure you can still see me fairly well. That being said I figure if you will comply you lay down your gun first. I will sheathe my sword and come out, then we can talk. Is it a deal?" Raven closed his eyes. He really didn't feel like killing anyone today, nor did he feel like getting killed either.

Natalia Lucile Menard Princess? Ha ha ha. that's ridiculous. There are no princesses here, and i'll kick your ******** a** if you suggest ********. Damnit. ******** c**t. This ******** stopped her from getting her mark. She was in the negative here, now. She would have to even the score with his corpse. She let go of the shot gun so that the strap would pull it to her back. This allowed her to put both hands on the smg. She did what amounted to a hand-less cartwheel over the final barricade between them, letting her legs rotate 360 degrees over the barricade while her body and her gun faced him throughout the flip. She was saving no ammo at this point, firing from start to finish of the leap at where he was. She landed in his row, still firing, and closed the distance between them while she let her clip unload at him. The 75 shot cartridge had only fired a 4 shot burst at the stage this whole time, leading to 71 shots in continuous motion at the man. She would kill him, or she would die trying goddamnit. If the gun ran out of ammo before he was dead she would kill him with her sword. She had the reflexes for it, she gauged. He picked the wrong woman to stand in the way of. She would capture the sniper instead. Fine. She would have a hostage, though. She needed information.

"By the time you know I am there . . ." Garenth watched the target and listened to everything that he said. He wanted to try and do some sort of peaceful resolution himself, yet he wanted Garenth to place down his weapon first. "I am sorry, but I cannot do that. I can see you, but I cannot see your weapon. You want me to put away my weapon, you come out where I can see you and prove to me you are unarmed. If you do that, I will lower my weapon." Garenth wanted to trust this person, but he had seen too many times where his allies were betrayed by power users, so he knew cautioun was of the utmost importance.
The Elite knew that he was beginning to run low on ammo, but he also knew it wouldn't be too hard to reload. As he was about to raise his arm for another shot towards the woman however, she came out from behind the banister and opened fire with her SMG. The rounds danced around the area, several of them making contact with him long before he even had a chance to move. The SMG's fire rate combined with its large ammo capacity gave him no chance of getting away on his own. As the silence came as the last casing landed on the ground, the Elite staggered forward. Several rounds had pierced through his body in exposed places, and his armor had received so many shots that a couple of them went through in the strained places. He was beyond livability now. As he fell to the ground, his signal ceased and the H.A.W.K. was notified of him being K.I.A. ". . . You will be long since dead."

Natalia reloaded her smg, replacing the used round in its proper container, and loading a fresh clip. She would deal with re-packng the clip again at home. She turned to go to the escape route, hoping to catch her prey, when she paused. She looked back at the elite... and then she took his gloves. She hadn't seen a weapon like this before, and it seemed rather convenient overall. Not only did she not expect there to be a gun there, but that was also a very compact and easy to carry one as well. Not to mention the way it effortlessly blew apart oak wall segments. She would have to practice with them later and get a handle on them. For now, she took the unfortunately indirect route back to the stage and set after her contractor, as well as her prey. She hoped she could catch the latter. She prayed she didn't see any of the former.

Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
Raven rolled his eyes, "If I had a weapon that could reach you don't you think you would have seen it by now? Charging a man with a gun wielding a sword is not really the most practical tactic. If I had another weapon believe me I would have pulled it out by now." Raven sighed and put down his sword just beyond cover and raised his hands up just above cover. He wasn't just going to walk out with a gun pointed at him but he figured this would be enough. "This sword is all I carry." He assured the guy, "So long as you have a gun pointed at me I am not coming out from cover though. I am sure you can understand."

"By the time you know I am there . . ." Garenth lowered his rifle and stood up from where he was. He set the rifle back on the ground and looked over where the target was. "You can come out now. I have no weapon." Garenth knew to keep himself actively aware though. He knew where both his sniper rifle and his assault rifle were at all times so as to be able to quickly react in case the person tried to attack him.
As Natalia left the stage, she would see the soldier and Selene leaving out the back door, though the sounds of multiple rotor wings would be about all there is to try and discourage her from following. They wanted to rescue their officer, and they were not about to let anyone stop them. ". . . You will be long since dead."

Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
A bit sluggishly Raven come from his hiding place. He stretched and groaned, happy to relax his muscles and mind. He did not move from his position though, figuring getting close would be unnecessary and may warrant a hostile response. "My name is Raven, by the way." He bowed, "It's a pleasure to meet someone who will honor their word. Most people with your skill would be too hot headed and arrogant to cease fire for a bit of civility." Rising back up he leaned against the air conditioner on his left hand and looked at the man, noting where his weapons were. "Now, what exactly is going on here? Pardon my curiosity but I am new in town and this is a pretty unexpected greeting. What is going on with the power users and...whoever you work for, that calls for such measures?" Raven looked around at the vehicles he assumed this man and his people came in. "While I still believe you, perhaps not your higher powers but you yourself, seek a peaceful solution. So, how can one expect to come to such a conclusion when you bring in such a force?" Raven scratched his head, "No offense, but it's a bit crazy to ask for peace when you hold someone at gunpoint."
