Really? I didn't mind getting a late post in. I dont think anyone should have to wait for me if I just couldnt post in time xD In the end you can always flag down another character to interact with since no one is really going to leave the festival grounds.
I'm just waiting for someone to approve Canton so I can make a post with him. I might have to send a pm request.
@Raffa: Same! I'm actually waiting a few eps before I watch so that something happens by the time I catch up xD Maybe if I wait to watch 3 eps they'll actually get somewhere. /maybetoooptimistic
I had a friend tell me in detail about Last of Us, and s**t does it sound good. I'd get way too emotionally invested in a game like that though and it sounds intense. The environments look killer though. It's a beautiful-looking game.

Me I'm used to slow RPs. I was in one for several years that went months without anyone posting, but most of the players were much older and thus had jobs/family life to take care of.

I can level with that. That's the reason I had to wait to post. c: Family and what scrap of a job I have.
I'm impressed an rp like that lasted years!
Its really cool to be able to write when you have the time like that and not feel rushed. I'd get frustrated though if it were months, not knowing when and if people are going to come back.

I think what helped was several of the players knew each other from outside of Gaia, sometimes enough to know phone numbers, so someone was always in check with someone. We kept a core group at all times even though we did have people come and go due to either the time length between posts or the fact there was so much to catch up on. It went from 2004 to about 2009 and was revived briefly sans two people because one was busy with married life and the other with college, but life still got in the way.
That's what I enjoyed about RPing was through a group like that I made friends and got so comfortable with everyone's characters I felt like we were all on the same page and could work near seamlessly to advance plot and come up with other things, even other roleplay projects. When it died I sort of dropped out of the world because Gaia's become a real hard place to RP in what with all these post code restrictions. (if you can't tell I suck at them XD)
Sorry if I rambled. I can talk myself in circles if I want sometimes.

Not at all. I don't think that was long-winded. I think that's what makes a valuable rp last, honestly. And they're hard to find. I also have dropped in and out of Gaia life for that reason.
Speaking of which though. Huh... are we officially dead here?

I.. guess so. It was a marvelous idea don't get me wrong, but I guess we didn't have enough people to just pull it off. Due to myself and valliant losing communication for a notionally long period of time it can be safe to conclude that we're dead. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. If our communication resumes, we'll work to bring activity once more to the guild,but for now it doesn't look like it can be pulled off.

Well I think for right now the best thing is not to assume anything. Communication glitches happen, life events happen, and that's all okay. A temporary stand still isn't going to hurt anyone.

Hello? Is anyone still here? I realize I am really late to the party, but i'm pretty active. I manage to always find time to post something.
Anyway, if its ok to start after my profile is accepted (If it is), I can try to keep it going with Dorian Geist. Of course that is, with permission. If our Guild Leader would like to get us started on roleplaying, I would love to help out in anyway I can.
:3 Hopefully people are still here to read these things. Just so we can party up and get moving, because the story here is fascinating!
