Oliver and Olivia listened to what Jean had to say. At first they felt a bit of a laugh coming on at his response. "We hardly meant any offense, Jean. It is merely our way to question and discuss." Oliver explained while Olivia merely smirked. They both had always thought those of the Mayu clan were very interesting. Why was it that they could not speak? They had plenty of run ins with the clansmen and noticed a few things about most. Firstly, where were all the Mayu children. Secondly, most had developed an exaggerated use of body language. Thirdly, they could be very cryptic. Of course both of the Delacroix twins were sure to keep that information to themselves and not share it freely with Jean. "We can both agree that it is a pleasure to meet you. There has been a lot of talk about you recently. Though it is entirely understandable. I have never heard of anyone who can do what you do." Olivia silently agreed, though the notion would be picked up on by Jean.
After his explanation, or lack thereof, on the creation of techniques Olivia and Oliver were still in the darkness about how they worked. What they did know, was that they needed money. There were other things they wanted to work on, and for that they needed supplies. Supplies could be costly, and the twins had very light wallets. "Ah, well thank you for that." Oliver said awkwardly, not sure if they had actually gotten anything out of that. "Yes, we did. The method as to how not to do what we wish to do." Olivia said quietly, mostly to herself. Oliver cleared his throat, trying to move the conversation forward. "Is there a possibility that you have some sort of mission we may undertake?" "Of course there is." Oliver turned and looked at Kozi, a smile on his face. "And perhaps this lovely lady would join us?" He said, smoother than a baby's bum.

He wasn't offended, in truth. It was awfully difficult to offend him. It was, however, easy to make him feign offense. He was by all means to be a laughing stock, if not for his talent as a shinobi. He had a strangely accurate surname, he was mute and introverted. A recipe for a great story, if there ever was one. However, he also happened to have a giant flaming phoenix as a pet, and he could murder most people before they even knew what hit them. "You're naturally precipitous, I can tell," he thoughtspoke. They could take offense or disagree, but by all means he felt his words true. "It leads me to wonder where you get it from. It's the brother that I see before me, and the brother seems to speak most often. So Oliver, is Olivia only an extension of yourself, and does her personality come from you? Or, on the contrary, are you only a vessel for Olivia's assets?" He eyed them very intently. Jean was surely biting more than he could chew by being so personal with them. He didn't think they'd really care, though. They might even enjoy his... inquisitive nature.
"I have a strange way of questioning and discussing, too. It often offends people who aren't keen on being exposed. That was certainly true.
As for people talking about him, he didn't really know that. He figured it came with being a successful ninja, people would start talking. He did notice that people paid more attention to him lately. Even doing simple things like going to a government office to file something, there were eyes staring. It was... uncomfortable. "Well, forget about everything others say. People can talk up a storm if you let them, and all the provisions in the world can't stop the spread of their misinformation. My ability to return from the dead isn't so impressive. It's very... specific." Ashad was, by all means, a completely enigmatic force. He could swim through the sea of the dead and return Jean to the living. It was an ability never seen before, in all history. Jashin's followers could escape death, sure, but no one could free themselves of it. Not without great cost.
"I don't know about missions. Though if I recall correctly, some of the village officials were screeching in my ear about a drug cartel. Though there was something off about their description. I'd have to check in with them." Jean wasn't here to search for mission-partners, so he wasn't really prepared for such a question. He preferred to go on missions alone. Usually, others sort of just got in the way, or they were too talkative. Or they were just rude. Or they liked showing off too much. Or they tried to outdo him.
Yeah, he just didn't like people.

Oliver smiled wryly at Jean. Precipitous was one way to put it. "Knowledge should have no boundaries. We merely seek it out, no matter where it comes from." Oliver said while Olivia nodded her head in agreement. It was not the first time they had been called something akin to nosy. Yet it was in their nature to inquire, to understand and comprehend. The twins did not care if it came off as rude or not. They could only control the constants, such as their questions, and not the variables, or the reactions of others. It was only fair for Jean to ask about Olivia and Oliver. There was no reason to hide it. They merely lived in this way because it was convenient. That and without each other they would literally die. This time, Olivia spoke. "Where you see two, we see one." She said enigmatically. Oliver smiled and chimed in. "Today you see me, but tomorrow it shall be Olivia. We alter days so one may proverbially stretch their legs."
Oliver and Olivia both chuckled in turn. They had asked some very deep, lewd, personal, and maybe even illegal questions before. There was little Jean could ask that would catch them off guard. And if it did, that would merely be taken as food for thought. "Not to worry, Jean. We certainly can take it." He said, before lapsing into silence and listening to Jean speak of his resurrection. Oliveria latched onto the morsel of information with gusto. Death was the most drab event of all time. It put a stop to the most wonderful thing of all; life. Jean's ability to actively say 'not today' to the gods of death was very impressive, regardless of how it was done. "Is the Jean who dies, the same as the Jean who revives?" Olivia said, not expecting an answer. That was a tough question to respond to. A ponderous look covered Oliver's face briefly before Jean talked again, this time on the subject of the mission.
"Oh! Drug Cartels! How lovely." Oliver said with actual enthusiasm. "A perfect example of how organized the dark underbelly of the world can be. Works very well, given what they actually have to work with." The twins would have continued picking apart Drug Cartels but reminded themselves there was a task at hand. "We can certainly help deal with this trouble. Olivia and I consider ourselves thespians of sorts. And with two sets of eyes, who better to scout?" Oliver said, also knowing they'd be able to handle themselves in the event that things got hairy. Two bodies wasn't their only power. They had just spam learned a load of techniques, and their puppet was always a love tap away.

The had that had been waved at her was, for her, a sign that she could come over. She had missed most of the conversation that they had as she was reclothing herself and allowing the tendrils to restitch her body where it had torn. Without too much hesitation she waddled back over to where the two had been standing and returned the wave Jean had given her. Oliver had asked about a mission and that was all that she heard up until he invited the lovely lady along. She was impassive to the compliment, and merely smirked to him without saying anything. Looking at Jean but not hearing him say anything was fine, as she too had heard of his somewhat unique abilities. Being a sp. jounin comes with quite a bit of fame, you know. It wasn't until Oliver spoke that she was able to connect the dots. There were two of them. One was a boy and one was a girl, but they shared a body, which would change gender by the day. That would epxlain how he was able to fire techniques without using his hands. She had opened her mouth to speak on er revelation when the twins spoke again. This time asking Jean about his death and rebirth. When the twins spoke on their good scouting Kozi finally found a moment to not merely listen but to speak.
Well, as long as there is the threat of danger, I think being a chakra battery and having five elemental chakra natures to work with would make disposing of anything less than a challenge. As she said this only the most perceptive would notice that she seemed to revel in the thought of melting something away to nothing. But that wasn't all she was excited about. She also wanted to smuggle some of those drugs back into the village with her...

In the respect of knowledge, Jean was much alike Oliver and his counterpart Olivia. The difference between them was that Jean could find knowledge where others could not -- within one's mind. He could penetrate the barrier between thought and being, and look into the stories within one's head. This made him it quite easy to sate his curiosity, though it always came with a price. He found that people didn't tend to trust one who invaded their privacy like some sort of psychic rapist. "Knowledge," he started, "Does have no boundaries. It is not the will of the universe itself to keep it from us. It is mortals who wish to keep things from others, hide truths and profligate in secrecy... that's what keeps us from knowledge." The more curious side of life wanted to be seen, and known. He, of all creatures, was aware of this. Ashad let him see the darkness of the underworld, and yet brought him back to live. It was a form of proof; that nature itself wanted its secrets to be known. Ashad was only a facet of nature, and Jean was only a human who wished to uncover.
Oliver and Olivia were very strange, but he didn't think he'd find himself unhappy with their presence. He might actually come to like them, considering they were intelligent individuals with a respect -- and fascination -- for things that others tended to ignore. Jean was like that as well, though he was far more shy about his curiosities than they were. It took a lot to get him started, though that had already happened in this circumstance. "I think I can understand what you are," he told them. "I'm one person, and you're one person. Just like Ashad is a part of me, Olivia is a part of Oliver, and Oliver is a part of Olivia. People like to think that I have a separate entity inside of me, but it's only a visual illusion. There is only one." By that train of thought, though, that meant he was quite self-sustaining. He was bringing himself back from the dead, and that was actually rather fascinating. He was, after all, a Jingshen. This meant that the phoenix was only a manifestation of himself, his power, and his desires.
Which meant, that he was a more ambitious individual than he thought.
Suddenly, Kozi spoke. He turned to her and watched her, and listened carefully. She considered herself a... chakra battery, with all five elements. All five, really? "Are you a..." He wasn't sure which bloodlines had that sort of trait. Rinnegan, maybe? According to rumor, they could know all things, and all techniques. But no, she didn't have the eyes. He decided he'd just cheat and scope out her mind for a moment. "Jiongu. I see." Scary, that meant she was just a collection of threads. "Well, it'll be good to have one of such unique talents. I personally am a telepath and telekinetic, but I also specialize in taijutsu and fire techniques. It's good to meet you," he started, "Kozi."
