Jordan sat up as his heart rate and breathing returned to something approaching normal, and decided to pretend he'd missed the last half of what Al had said, because he didn't feel like restarting the argument, or possibly he didn't feel like getting tickled again. He'd just make sure that the room had the necessary fixtures later. Quietly. And there might be a discussion about training minions properly in Rep's future.

He knew what Al was hinting at, the elephant in the room. "I'll sort that out for you too. I have the old bed in my room, I never turned my keys in. Mattress is a bit water damaged but we can harass the quartermaster for a new one for you. Then you can have furs and a bed. I wisnae going to leave you the way you are man. We just need to do things one thing at a time."
Jordan got another grin, Rep looking properly relaxed again. "Sorry to like, kick off like that."
"But yeah Al, sorry to have startled you too, but now we know. a bit more about each other eh?" He stretched lazily.
"I should probably get back to my room for like, s**t I need to do." The seated sun hunter got a look that said he was invited apparently, they could stand to have that discussion sooner rather than later.

Al looked pleased at least, he was getting all the things he wanted... but there was just one thing that still bothered him. A lot. They knew more about each other and yet... not really anything at all.
"Wait, uh, Rep, can I talk to you alone a minute?" Al gave Jordan a distantly pleading look.

Jordan only hesitated for half a moment. Then he nodded and got up. "I'll see you back home," he said to Rep, and headed off down the beach.

Rep didn't look entirely surprised by this fact, used to a world of people who refused to go by their real names in case they got caught by them. "My name's no Rep either. It's William Reid. What about it?"

"Still... I kinda lied to you?... My real name is Corbin. Al is just... kind of my middle name?" He shrugged. "I guess I just thought Al was a cooler name. Not as cool as Rep, but still cooler than Corbin."

Rep only tolerated the hug because it was part of the get-Al-to-like-me plan, even if such a wanton intrusion on his personal space made his skin crawl. He waved him off. "Aye, aye man. Don't go around hugging men either, that's one way to get your a** kicked. "

"I don't hug just anyone," Al proclaimed as he quickly released Rep with a startled look. "You're cool and s**t. The brother I never had." He shrugged, "That's all though. I guess."

Rep gave him an indulgent nod. "I'm glad you think that man, as you'll probably see soon enough, there are a lot of people on the island who don't like me because I don't hesitate to give them their character. If they are dicks, I'll tell them that."
He smirked at him. "I'll see about getting that wall of yours fixed. I'll see you around, be careful. Don't go taking any more offers from Sasha."
