Something rolled it's way across the boardwalk happily. People jumped as they heard it whiz by their feet. Lots of startled heads turned downwards after jumping aside. It was cylindrical, and brightly coated in metallic colors.

"tinktinktinktinkletinktinkle"

Something sparkled and jangled within the round object, making pretty little sounds as it went, bumping and rolling on it's merry way. Then it seemed to hit something and go flying, still making a bell type noise as it bounced onto the railings that divided the walk from the sand and sea.

It rolled and sped it's way right past the two quietly talking, took out one of Shou's windows with a CRACK, before bouncing it's way along again, meeting up with the wooden boards and reflecting the light as it once again moved it's way up the Gambino boardwalk.

"Well, then there's probably another coin here in Gambino." Shou paused, checking his mirrors again, closely eyeing the men getting all prepped up, along with the small parting in the crowds, and a weird thing go flying through the air.

"I think it's safe to assume that all the coins have been found, seeing as those guys back there were a little more interested in these clothes than I'd like. They might be in contact with somebody else." The half-golem was flipping open the phone, when the driver's side window by the backseat cracked suddenly, and a shiny ball went rolling past.

"Err, I don't wanna say fetch, but maybe you should grab that thing, the unordinary's been seeming real important, and I've gotta call Vahn." Whether Laz went with it or not, Shouyin would dial the number again and leave a voice-message, specifying that the jeep crew was a little ways behind them on the boardwalk, and looking ready to move. He quickly ran through the specifics of the knight, blue energy balls, fancy get-ups and coins as well.

Shitshitshitshitshit.

Jacknife stood and took the projectile square in the chest. The kevlar he wore stopped most of the impact, but he would most likely have a nice bruise later. He grabbed hold of the object and sat back down.

"Any idea what this is nascen?" He said, holding the object with both hands, and ready to snap a mental snare around it in a second if it started bouncing again.

Jacknife didnt want to stick around to see whatever that wolf guy was doing. He slammed the jeep in full reverse and sped backwards away from him.

"A quick responce would be nice Nascen. So would somebody doing something about that wolf."

There was a rumble from the circular object in Jacks hand, and it seemed as though the actual ball wasn't the thing propelling the little item, but a bell inside. A muffled tink tink tink sounded.

And then there was a squeal...it started small and slowly began to build...loud enough to hurt ears, loud enough to take out a few more windows. It was distressed! Fine then.

A c***k and then

SPLAT!!

The ball exploded like a paint grenade within the jeep, green gunk spattering everywhere.

The containment field of his mind caught the splater, the Jeep was fine, but Jacknife's lower chest was covered in paint.
"How... Nice..."
He slammed the Jeep back into foreward and punched the accelerator down. In a few moments he would slam straight into the wolf that had been chaseing them.

"Darn, now, I'm having a bad day, really, though usually this'd all be really fun for me... under less dire circumstance..." Nascen felt out for all the magic either of his enemies might be using in the area, growling through his teeth.

Any magic energy active, whether in or building into a spell, within a little further than Nascen could see in any given direction would be detected.

And he immediatly countered all of it, wiping the active magic and it's effects from existance.

Flare was surprised to see the jeep with the mercenaries in it, engaged in a fight with another car. Mostly she was surprised to see the jeep intact; the demoness had thought Vahn would trash it for sure.

She stood high above the car chase, and just continued on her way.
