ALEX! He so rox. He sits at the end of the row. He can play, seriously, and he's only a 7th grader. He's really short, so the flute looks almost bigger than his arm. It's hilarious xp last year we had a guy named Adam, but he sucked....big time, and quit band... neutral

I remeber when I went to an honor band audition the lady said for some reason male flute players tend to be good -shrugs- the sad thing was I did horrible at that audition sweatdrop . But I did get first chair out of 16 flutes in marching band this year, so it could be partially true.

I'm a male floutist. Wierd, people tend to talk about us more than female floutists. I've been playing for 5 years, a first flute and it's there's not a year that goes by without somebody asking wierd questions about myself. I guess they think we're like a foreign species.

We have one male floutists, but he doesn't really care. Grrrr! I love men who play the flute, though. It isn't a girl instrument, and people should see more men playing it. It isn't fair... that's why in my story, the main character (a guy) and another main character (a girl) play the flute. It's romantic and cute!

Tee-hee. Looks like it's mostly girls in this thread. We had two. One's about to graduate and the other moved away. And then there was my former mortal enemy who's a musical genius and would've stolen first chair from me (I'm a flute) but he switched to trombone because our band needs balancing out.
