Melony lifted her gunscythe up over her head and stamped the base down on the ground. The spirit in her weapon roared awake in response, startling her into dropping it."Okay, that can't possibly be normal. Anyway, I think we all need to calm down and not make enemies out of each other. Please?" Melony crouched and picked up her weapon. "Okay, so how about we all get to know each other some more, hm? No more being mean to each other. Okay so who of you haven't I met yet?" She asked, looking over the crowd of... very frilly dressed girls.
Name:Melony Age: 15 Gem:Violet - Dedicated Class: Shaman Weapon: Gunscythe designed to feature her spirit at the hilt of the blade, wings spread and jaws wide as if its roar was producing the blade. Spirit:Amphithere

Maria sighed and turned around to see what was going on. Sure enough, the voice was right! She wasn't alone! Maybe one of them could tell her what was going on. Why didn't she turn around sooner? Who cares! She wasn't alone! For some reason, that made her rather happy. She didn't know why, she just went with it. Smiling she quickly made her way over to a group of girls that seemed to be talking with one another. As she closed the distance, Maria kept trying to think about what she would say. Eventually by the time she made it over there... she still had nothing. Coming to a stop at the edge of the group, she gave a smile. "Um. Hi." Well that was a start. "I know this must sound weird but... do any of you have any idea about whats going on here?"

The voice swung up hysterically at the end, shrill with nerves. Gaping at the air for a few moments, hands clutched in front of her, the girl froze in an almost comical tableau of horrified uncertainty, her mind grasping to get a hold of what had just happened. She hadn't really taken any of it in, consciously, and sure as hell hadn't been feeling up to replying back to the voice apart from a few basic stuttering replies. The girl's expression sagged even farther as she frantically began trying to pull up memories, any memories.
My name is Esme, I'm 14 years old, and I ... ... faltering off into nothing. Taking a deep breath, still oblivious to the world around her, she tried again, her brows knitting in concentration. My name is Esme, I'm 14 years old ... her short term memory kicked in, as it began to work again. ... and I'm a reaper. I can use fear to ... no I can use ... looking down, she awkwardly turned over the heavy metal tube that was suddenly in her hands. It should have weighed enough to bend the small girl double, but it didn't. It also looked kind of, for lack of a better word, cute. I can use my trusty bazooka to channel fear and ... but that was it. Try as she might, and no mater how furiously she furrowed her browns or puffed her cheeks, nothing else would come.
Despite the blank void in her mind where she was pretty sure 14 years of memory should have been, Esme began to calm down. She had Ol' Terminator, no visible injuries, and her name. Maybe if she couldn't remember anything else, it wasn't really that important. Straightening up and demurely patting the front of her dress as though she hadn't just been shrieking at an invisible voice, her face settled into what, if the display of panic a second ago hadn't been seen, would be seen as a expression of slightly overdone confidence. Right, slight mental adjustments made. Panicking over. Now what was was the next step? Oh right, looking around. Turning, she took in the world around her.
Jamie stared blindly into the little thing, wondering if it was that easy to kill them. A little crack, maybe something a shot, they'd be out of the game--possibly dead? It seemed fascinating to her. Then again, she still fully believed that they were being recorded for some reality tv show or something.
She looked at the others, feeling a little awkward with her huge a** sword, actually. The others had cute weapons, things that went with the skirts, but-- "I wonder if our bodies remember how to use our weapons--I'm absolutely positive that my mind doesn't remember," she said as she started searching her skirt for a pocket to put her lantern thing in.
Viridian Looked at her hands. They were dirty and she didn't know why. She also stared at the thing that talked before deciding she didn't like how it looked at her. It might have been judging and she wasn't about to take any of that s**t. Judge her fist in your face...whatever you were. Yeah, that's right, run off. You couldn't hope to take her. Her mental thoughts ended as the thing left, and she was alone. Not alone alone, but alone in the way of 'who the ******** are the people around me ******** them I have no idea I'll figure it out later'.
She was pretty sure she was better than the chumps around her. Speaking of said chumps, none of them looked as good as her. They were probably also wimps. Pft, she could go save whatever whenever however she wanted. Like she needed these babies.... Maybe as fodder or support, but that was a MAYBE. A big maybe about the babies.
Another maybe, they might know more, maybe a few of them were you know, actually good. Eyes narrowing, Viridian stood up and dusted herself off.
She didn't have a game plan yet, but she was forming one. Her plan was simple. Figure out what was going on, and then beat up that thing that had up and abandoned her. Kick it's butt and demand recompense for her suffering, (though everyone knew suffering was just a part of life). "Well s**t." She wanted something in her hands. She- oh hey. Looking at her feet, a crossbow clattered against her boot. Yes, this was good. Picking it up and carefully weighing it in her hands. Perfect.
She was ready for bitches.
"You. Kid." Okay maybe the girl might have been close in age to her but whatever, Viridian was clearly superior. "What you doin' here?"
"Seems like we're all trying to sort that out," Ridley smirked at the blonde in blue as she jabbed a thumb in large group's general direction. The collection of girls that had woken up a little earlier seemed to already be on the ball, or well some of them were. If her ears were working right, it seemed that a few little disagreements and unkind words were also being thrown about. Sigh. "I mean, 'cause telling us we're supposed to help humans is a little vague, right?"
"I'm Ridley," she said with a hand held out to Maria. Introductions might be important here, with names being one of the few things they remembered for certain they would be handy to be given out.
The orange haired girl shot a cheeky grin to the loud green clad girl, it was hard to miss her really. And she had to admit, she liked her style already. A small nod was passed to the two blondes in pink and she waved a little hand at Melony. "Yo!"
Seemed like their numbers were growing again. Awesome.

How am I feeling? Her eyes snapped open as one corner of her lips twisted into a disdainful sneer. How am /I/ feeling? How about I strangl— Her thoughts screeched to a halt as she scrutinized the creature, its lips never moving. Why was this thing…? Common sense told her to backtrack, but how could she backtrack when her mind drew a complete blank? There were no memories to sift through, only meaningless facts and pictures that made up whatever knowledge she had at the moment. Creases filled her forehead as she knitted her brows and hissed before she managed to grab onto a name. Calliope. That’s right.
Shoulders rose and fell quickly as she huffed and folded her arms across her chest. That’s all you have to say? Unfortunate and oddly convenient? How about I just wring your neck right here and now? Hm? At least it didn’t seem perturbed and jumped into its explanations, but it only seemed to throw Calliope into an even fouler mood that she hid with an unassuming smile.
She raised a skeptical brow at the trinket, a pretty shade of blue. Lips pressed together as she remained stubbornly silent, which humiliatingly meant she didn’t know what Fear was. Calliope paid some attention to the explanation, but gradually began to tune out as she tightened her hands into fists, only to realize she already held something. Curiously, she unfolded her arms to reveal a blade, except the handle felt peculiar. Narrowed eyes stared at the weapon before she pulled back her sleeves to reveal a pistol attached to it. “…ha?” Her face contorted as she examined the weapon thoroughly. What the hell was this? This weapon was ridiculous, but at least she had choices…?
Oh, who was she kidding? Whoever had made this weapon had been incredibly stupid, but whoever had thought somehow prettifying this weapon was even stupider. It took Calliope a few more moments of making secretly-dissatisfied faces at her weapon before she realized she wasn’t by herself. She lightly smacked herself on the head. Hadn’t the Thing said ‘we’? Obviously that meant there were others. Clearly. How stupid of her.
Calliope tried looking at the others. Each of them was a girl around her age, toting a weapon one way or another. Warm-colored eyes settled on Arietta’s cat hammer and her shallow smile strained at the corners. She opened her mouth and a soft, kind voice came out. “Why does your weapon look so ridiculous?”
The words, however, were not.

Tamara? "That's such a nice name." She offered a light nod to the girl as she glanced to the group. Certainly they could find a reason in each other. She nodded a bit, trying to offer a braver face to match the other girl's. She could try, and she was quite right. Making a few friends would make them all stronger. "Yes, it would be nice to know, but regardless the world will go own." She replied slowly, then nodded a bit before trying to add a weak laugh in. "Crying won't make us feel any better either, will it?" She added before shifting to run her finger along the only thing that seemed to feel familiar.
The Chakram were rather sharp and clipped to her hip. Attached near the chain that hung from her skirt. The fear that built it was certainly comforting. It was called fear. Or so the thing had said. Which meant it was the only thing she knew of from her previous life. "If we make friends, we can work at one. So that no one else needs to be lost. To be forgotten." Perhaps that was it. Perhaps as you passed, you were erased. your very being, what you had been... all of it was gone? What a sad thought really.
It seemed someone else was a bit more on top of it than her, so a quick smile was offered as she toyed with her skirt a moment before waving. "Hello." She replied, looking through the group. That was... Ridley? She thought she'd heard the name clearly, so... now she had more to meet. A few steps as she continued the work at holding her expression even as she stepped forward. Tamara's words had certainly helped a bit. "I'm Orina, and you all are?" A quick look shifting to the rest of the group.

Zelda probably deserved that first smack. Fool me once and all. But she wouldn't allow it to hit the "fool me twice, shame on me" part, however, and caught the staff the second time in her chains. The girl smiled at her; she stared back neutrally.
Toys, huh. Well wasn't she just a little doll about it.
And then Zelda sighed, because once more she wasn't interested in hitting people unlike some. Barbaric really without orders to. She slipped the chains away and let the witch go without a word, because she discovered she wasn't one to bother conversing with those she had nothing to say to. It did, however, let her take a breath and cup half her face with a hand, letting it slide down her features as she sighed. Maybe she had been a little hard on people. It was just her way of coping with the confusing situation; yelling made her feel better.
"Scheiße. Sorry, kid. Nerves and stuff. Let's start over. Hi, Anua, Stranger I Just Yelled At, I'm Zelda, and my day is just awesome right now." Zelda at least looked calmer than before, though half-lidded eyes seemed to be her natural countenance. "I don't know anymore than you do, but we're here because we volunteered to fight so . . . yeah. I dunno about these things," she held up her gem as she turned to Jaimie, "but I'm with Aria and whatsherface on this one: let's try not to get those destroyed and let's try also not to let someone else touch it. I don't want to find out what happens and I hope you don't either."
She turned to Elspeth next with the first patient look she'd worn since arriving. "Whatsherface got it right, I didn't call you useless. I said you're only as useless as you think you are. I'm going to assume none of us actually are since we all have weapons and decided to be here or whatever . . . alright? Look, that book looks heavy, I'm sure you'd easily knock someone out with that. Or papercut them to death." Her mouth twitched in what could have been a brief smile.
"Okay, so letm e try and get everyone straight here. We have Jaimie, Mairea, Anua . . . Crap, there's too many of you. Let's go around the room like she - oh yeah, Melony - let's just go around like Melony said." Anything to pass the time, right? She still didn't know the name of the orangey one hanging on Mairea, or . . .
. . . hi there, volume? Zelda squinted at the little girl and made a face. "You too, if you can turn it down a few decibels."

Esme blinked. What was this, some sort of party? The place was lousy with girls, wandering around, chatting. Her brain stepped in and supplied the fact that none of them seemed to be looking very happy, and that probably a party was the farthest thing down possible on the list, when the sound of someone approaching made her stop monologuing.
She turned, about to leap on the approaching girl with questions galore, when the voice made her pause. Kid? Kid?! Practically unconsciously, she straightened up to her full, diminutive height, and puffed out her chest, almost rising off the ground. Eyeing the other girl up and down scornfully, stopping for a moment on the crossbow (pff! please!), she replied back with the dignity and coldness of a rather small iceberg.
"I am a whole 14 years old, so I don't know who you're calling kid around here. I'm a teenager. Also, I have a name. And it's Esme. Aanddd, I don't see why it's any of your business. Why are you here, huh?"
As witty comebacks, it wasn't exactly spectacular. But it got the point across clear enough.
"Oh." She said simply, her eyes opening again, eyes that just seemed far too large on such a small face. "L-like the plant...er..the tree?" Apparently she knew that willow was a form of tree, though she didn't know much of anything else. How very odd...
"It--it's n-nice to meet you, too."She finished, shuffling her feet quietly against the floor as she began to chew on her bottom lip. Another girl was asking about what was going on, but she had no answer for her, or the countless others that were also beginning to stir. Wide eyes stared around at all of the girls, all of the pretty costumes and weaponry, many more of them now then she had first realized, like a small army.
"I...I don't think he was a....a goblin." Macy said to the girl with the blue hair and the yellow dress. "M-more like a cat, really, don't you think?" But to the rest of the girls question, she just shook her head mutely. She knew no more then anybody else at the moment, and maybe perhaps even less.
Another very loud girl caught her attention. "H-Hey! She has a p-plant name too!" She pointed towards poppy, her bow still clutched to her chest with her free hand.
"I--I like your cage." She said to the blue girl. "Do...do you know what..I mean..do you remember how...er..." She was trying to ask exactly what it was the cage did, but belatedly realized the girl might not have any idea, and suddenly bit down on her bottom lip again, cutting off her question abruptly in embarrassment.

"I see. So it looks like im not the only one who doesn't have a clue." She smiled at the orange haired girl. "I hope that this doesn't sound weird or anything but, I feel a little better knowing that." In truth, she did. She thought that she might be the only one who had no idea what was going on. "For a moment I thought that I might have been the only one who didn't know what was going on." She gave a chuckle. "Tell me about it." was her response to the statement about helping humans.
She gave a smile when Ridley extended her hand. "Maria." She held out her own hand and took Ridley's, giving it a shake. She then turned her attention to the other girls. "I'm Maria. Just got here." She smiled at the girl in pink. "I'm up for working together. I know I wouldn't want to be left in here alone."

She had no idea what to say about the girls gathered here, aside from the fact they were all well equipped for combat - some weapons surprisingly cute when compared to others - and they were all dressed in.. girly clothing. She, herself, was no exception to the magical looking dress code. It was probably in result of them all having agreed to fight, or whatever that little furry creature had spoken of.
Unaware that she had attracted the attention of another, Hanna startled when Arietta spoke up beside her. "Uh!" Casting the girl a wary look, she eased a bit upon realization that she had been caught staring. "Sorry, I would say its a force of habit, but I can't quite remember what my habits are." Shifting her pose a bit, she offered the girl a warm smile, as well as her hand in greeting.
"I'm Hanna. You are..?"

Before she could even fully approach the group, the young girl caught sight of Vanessa shushing her silently. The gesture of silence went unnoticed and instead Poppy's eyes went wide as she stared at the girl's hair. Wow! She had two colors! That was so neat! Far too excited about this she tripped over to the girl and shifted her cage into her other hand. "Wow! You hair is so neat its two colors! I bet you dyed it like that!" Actually, how one dyed hair seemed a fuzzy process so instead Poppy grabbed the girl's hand and shook it happily before she was off to the next girl. Then a cute red head (well it was kind of orangey actually) with a big book was saying her name, so Poppy might as well say hi to her too. Hi in the form of grabbing Ridley's hand from the air to vigorously shake. There were so many girls! "You all are sooooo pretty! Ah! Hey look you have a cage-thingy too! Wow!" This time Poppy pointed to the lantern Lyra seemed to be holding. There was just so much to look at and see and-- ........Then a green haired girl was shouting about defeating things. Oh yeah, that was kind of what they'd all signed up for right!? With a wave of her arms over her head (and clanking birdcage), Poppy hopped up and down. "THOSE THINGS DON'T STAND A CHANCE!! Evenifwedon'tknowwhatheyareyet!"
Now that more of the girls were gathering, Poppy hopped excitedly from foot to foot, grinning like a fool. Oh man! This was so so soooo much fun! At least it would be! When it started... "What's a decibel?" She asked with a swivel to look at the pretty silver haired girl. Were they bad? Oh well! This girl was pretty! "I'm Poppy! Its nice to meet you! You shouldn't frown like that, you'd be much prettier if you smiled. Well, more pretty cause you're pretty pretty anyways!" The double use of 'pretty' made her dissolve into a fit of giggles before she gasped in astonishment to look at the blonde who complimented her. "Poppies are my favorite flowers ever! But thank you! I like my cage too even though I don't know what it does yet! Is that what you were going to ask? Because if you're asking if I remember anything else, I DON'T!!!" This last bit was shouted with a laugh, for it all seemed absolutely hilarious that any of them should remember anything. And because she was so very excited, she happily grinned at the blonde girl and waited for her name too.

Darkness gave way to a trickle of light. Lashes were slowly lifted with heavy eyelids as the world came into view. She felt like an empty husk. It didn't necessarily bother her. Not knowing much of anything made waking to the unknown much less complicated.
"Um... I'm fine." The blue eyed girl murmured sleepily, a light and airy voice ringing from the young girl's throat. "Who are you?" She asked curiously as she became a little more aware of her surroundings.
The creature seemed a little bit disenchanted at her lack of memory of it. Had she spoken with it before? Had she been here? Gosh, she sure hoped she didn't offend the little guy. He was such a cute little thing, after all. And so far he was also very patient and helpful. The girl listened carefully, blinking slowly under heavy lids with each passing minute.
Fear. Power. Fighting.
It was obvious she had a greater purpose than she herself knew. To bring about a balance in an otherwise unbalanced and chaotic world, perhaps.
Not one to ignore something so important, the girl nodded sagely. Save the humans? Well, this was one girl who would do her very best!
There were others here. Likely in her same situation. Friends and companions, she hoped. A small smile crossed her face, his fingers fiddling with the ruffles of her skirt. Ah... who to say Hi to first?
