The smell that was cause by Rey's jutsu was nearly unbearable, Kyousuke felt bile at the back of his throat but he couldn't let this inconvenience dissuade his ability to fight. He slammed his fist into his own nose breaking it and masking the odor a little with the smell of his own blood and jolting the part of his brain that controls his sense on smell. the smell wasn't gone and the jutsu wasn't broken but he was able to keep his lunch down enough to focus."That was rather unpleasant" he said before he charged after Rey to get into hand to hand combat range.

"You have no idea. Just wait till you taste the next genjutsu" Rey stated as he used hand signs and charged at Kyousuke. At first, it could seem like it was a genjutsu that required touch to caste. However, Rey would use Body flicker step to approach Kyousuke in a manner that was similar to the Senka technique of bleach to charge and appear behind Kyousuke and then made a punching motion in which his jutsu would be released. The jutsu wasn't genjutsu. Actually, it was katon. When he was making the hand signs, he was doing it for the Katon technique while making it seem it was genjutsu. As he approached, the normal charge was to make it seem as if they were both arrive equally at the center of their distance but he used the body flicker to hopefully catch his opponent off guard, but to also try to get a critical hit with his Katon jutsu. This jutsu basically gathered all the Katon chakra into the arm of the user. When he used the body flicker, the technique could be seen developing into its full form when he moved. He timed it so when he went for punch to the back, the katon would be fully developed on his arm and the katon would shoot out in which was the katon making the blade .

Kai came in from the academy side. His body not looking as if it will last much longer his chakra reserves falling quickly. He stumbled and fell his arm slamming hard into the ground causing the plant to fall out of it. He saw the poison gas seeping into the air his vision slightly blurring. Wiping his face with one hand he performed a single hand sign and activated his seal he had placed on the plant causing it to suddenly explode a fireball erupting upwards consuming the gas that had seeped out.
Kai smiled and nearly lost his balance catching himself he vomited again. He knew his was bad he wasn’t going to be able to survive much longer. Using close to what was the last of his chakra he performed a set of hand signs and vanished into a cool jet stream of water. The stream of water heading towards the hospital.

Kyousuke got up and looked around since he now had a good test of his teammates strength, he was glad that Rey was strong since that meant he wouldn't have to carry his weight in mission and that he had someone to compete against. He figured since Rey was here it was likely his Sensei was to and he scanned the crowd for her. He finally spotted her and walked over to her to make sure it was who he though it was. Ling despited all the noise so he deactivates his clone getting the info about his subjects and heads off to the beach area.
Rey nodded and walked over to Elmina. "Hello again sensei" Rey stated as he looked at the woman and at the Hyuuga. This team, was stacked and he liked it. Of course, it could be cockiness, but looking at how things are going now. This team would be one of the best in the Mist. Rey could see that.

"Ma'am I am fine to continue, my injuries are only superficial" he said with a bow and wincing in pain from the burn a crossed his back. He carefully contained the wince to not show his weaken as much as possible. He though for a moment and silently agreed with his sensei knowing that if he didn't get to the hospital he would only hinder the others and potentially put there lives at risk for it.
He nodded to Rey as he turned to head for the hospital and receive treatment for the burn Rey gave him. But under it all he was happy, joyous, in fact ecstatic to soon be going on his first mission.
