Pyroth looked up, about to add something more, when Bobby gave him a great big hug. Her currently larger size meant that he would probably feel like a bony bag of fur, but to him it was the first proper hug he'd actually been the recipient of in over a year. He barely registered the breasts, the coyote's instinctual acceptance of multiple ones clashing somewhere with his own human perceptions. It didn't matter at all. It as for that reason he was confused when she apologised. Still grinning he shook his head "Sorry? The only thing you should be sorry for is besting my gift with your own one in the form of that hug." he chuckled.
He wasn't sure if her hesitancy to invite him in was because of actual mess or just a desire to be alone, nevertheless he added. " I doubt anywhere could be as messy as the jungle. I'd been living there for two weeks, it really messes with your head."
But damn did it make you appreciate the company you did have.

Bobby snerked, good ol' Pyroth! He always knew how to make her changed appearance feel non-existant or even normal. She didn't know why it surprised her so much, the others' changes didn't matter to her... so why should her own matter to them? Maybe she should work on not worrying so much about her own.
"The hug wasn't much of anything... I'll give you another if you want," she winked and took a step forward, arms out-stretched. She didn't actually give hima hug though, being more teasing than seriousy... unless he actually wanted it.
"The jungle?" she cocked her head to the side to look at him. A soft snort escaped her nose as she thought for a moment. "I just came back this morning... I'm surprised I didn't see you out there." So, they had both gone on a type of self-imposed hermit life for awhile. She knew hers was a result of her change... but was it polite to ask what had made him leave?
But about the room.... a slight smile spread. "No..." Bobby shook her head, "the jungle is clean compared to my room. When I got back, everything was just so.... dirty.... I want to clean it all up, but that means pushing everything aside." With a sigh, she threw a glance over her shoulder and the imposing mess in the room, "It is such a long process, but breaks are always appreciated." Bobby winked with the last comment, mostly to explain that Pyroth visiting was a welcomed event, not an intruding one.

Pyroth was tempted to take Bobby up on her offer of a second hig but eventually refrained. He didn't want to seem /too/ needy, and though he really was teetering on the brink of a proper breakdown at some point, he wasn't about to go shoving his problems on others. Intead he grinned playfully and passed over to the next topic she had mentioned. "You were out there too? It's nightmarish in the really deep parts, makes you feel like all those cobwebs and mouldy leaves are just going to swallow you up and that'll be the last of you. Hunting in it is near impossible." He flicked his ears and added "I was avoiding any human smells for most of the time, who knows, maybe I caught your scent and passed by. I should have stopped to see if I could mooch a sandwich as always."
He tilted his head "Somehow I doubt it's as bad as all that. At least it doesn't smell like dog the way mine does." he wagged his tail and went on "But if you fancy a break from cleaning, I wouldn't mind a chat."

Bobby's grin grew, how she would love to have another 'gossip session' with Pyroth... which tended to rarely be about Island gossip anyways. "I always have time for you, let me go grab some substance." For her size, she moved somewhat shockingly fast as she went into her room to grab food. Her door was open, and inside all her few belongings were strewn about. She had gotten much more than her uniform she came in from the labs early on. Also around were garbage bags, a couple of them were already full of used papertowels and dirty, now-useless rags.
Bobby came back out, and shut the door behind her. Motioning, she walked to the corner and sat on the top stairs. There was enough room for the coyote as well, thought it was a bit of a tight squeeze (Bobby took up a bit of room). "Yeah, I don't know how long I was out there, though... I always lose track of the time and I tend to sleep at strange times." With a joking shoulder nudge, Bobby took a chunk from her orange, "I don't know about the hunting for me, I can -happily- still eat anything... though now...." She looked at the orange, with the chewed peeling as well as juicy fruit, "...now I literally eat anything..."
Licking a little juice from a hoof section, Bobby couldn't help but snort-giggle, "I don't think you would have wanted to see me. I caught my reflection in a pool of water during that time and I almost scared myself."

Pyroth was happy to see that Bobby didn't mind having a chat to him, yet another small but significant boost to his recently flagging self confidence. He nodded and simply watched as she headed off to get some eats. However, he didn't peer into her room to see what was there, simply because he'd heard that it was impolite.
The coyote didn't have too much trouble fitting in alongside Bobby on the stairs, his bony form not taking up much room at all. He sat as close as he dared, again not wanting to seem too keen on the company, after all coyotes were social animals sometime and despite his own occaisional desire for solitude it was really good to have someone to chat to, to pretend that none of this was happening, that things were normal. He listened and grinned at Bobby's comments "You think you sleep at strange times?" he feigned disbelief "Half of me wants to be nocturnal, half doesn't." he raised a brow "Tell you something though, I wouldn't half mind being able to eat anything, I'm still useless at picking out what bits of the animal are good to eat. All I know is you don't touch the stomach if you don't want to be sick for the rest of the day and beyond."
Pyroth hrmphed "Bah. I keep telling you, I don't see the changes anymore. Humans would be surprised at the differences but for me it's getting different. My brain doesn't like sight so much anymore, it's all scents and the personality of a person. You could have turned into a frozen mackerel and to me you'd still be Bobby right to the very core." he smirked "Of course if you /were/ a frozen mackerel, I doubt you'd be as good a conversationalist." he chuckled. "Nah but I know what you mean, I was scared to see people after this transformation, scared they might be repulsed. Most people were but it wasn't /too/ bad." he trailed off.
"Though you know what, I've heard word on the grapevine that none of the other canine subjects have gone as far as I have. Even Ambrose, here before me is still relatively humanoid. I've heard he thinks there is another injection...." he let the words curl in the air and felt supressed emotions curl in the air, his voice choked by a torrent of words left, for that moment, unsaid.
Then he went on. "Truth is, I had an ulterior motive for coming to you. I'm scared. So scared I can't even think about it. Another injection, what would that mean? Will I even be able to talk anymore, to hug someone? What if I become an animal entirely? That's why I had to say what I said.. before I'm not able to say anything." the shock of hearing these words said aloud terrified Pyroth more than anything. He didn't want to push his problems onto Bobby but he trusted her more than anyone now in this strange world. "I just wanted to let you know. In case anything did happen to me, so that you would have something to go by in future, a little hope to cling to. The knowledge that though you probably didn't know it, you meant the entire world to a silly bony little coyote."
He again looked at the ground, feeling a fool for drawing Bobby over to his true and bottomless fears, having always put a brave face on it till now. He frowned and tried to backtrack. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to toss my troubles onto you. You have enough of your own."

Bobby snorted, "I know what you mean... these conflicting feelings between human and beast get difficult to deal with. I cannot even imagine having one of those combination creatures.... and then... can you think of the conflicts then? What if you had animals that were so different... and they all compete for dominance?" The woman could only shutter at the thought. She knew she had it pretty bad, but it didn't help to go into self pity.... and it can always get worse.
At the mention of 'not seeing the changes', Bobby couldn't help but poke at Pyroth for some good-natured teasing. "I had always heard canines were pretty much blind. Now I know for sure! And that's probably a good thing. Frozen mackerel? I'd probably eat myself..." she licked her lips for good measure.
Speaking of things getting worse... that news didn't sound very encouraging. All the good humor drained out of Bobby, she was left quite worried. "Another injection? There isn't much else that can change, is there? You are the most non-human I have seen... how can you go further?" She paused as the coyote went on.
Her heart went out to many of the Islanders. Over the recent past, though, Bobby had gotten to be friends with Pyroth. Maybe more than friends, who knew. He comforted her many times, and to see him in such a state.... it made her almost want to cry. But Pyroth needed her now, and she would have to stay strong. While he finished and looked at the ground, Bobby reached forward and gave the thin coyote another hug. This one was longer and more sentimental. "No matter what happens, you can still hold on to who you are; no amount of coyote can take that away... even if you may look like one. As long as you remain true to yourself, you will still be the Pyroth I have grown to care about." She might have started to say "love", but the woman had caught herself quite quick and even the "l" was not heard.
"If you ever need anyone, I am here for you. There is quite enough Bobby Reynolds to go around," she released her hug and held him at arms length while she winked. The woman was very large. Bobby waved him off, "We all have problems... though.... most of them can probably start to be waved off. I miss my family dearly, but I hope to never see them again. For, if I do, it will mean they are stuff in this Hell as well. So, as long as they are out there.... they have a chance at something better, and not here."
She was getting a little off topic. This was about Pyroth... and he was scared. Reaching over, Bobby petted the coyote behind the ear. "That sounds scary. I don't really know what to say but I am always here for you if you need me." As for how much she meant to him... Bobby wasn't sure what to say. She smiled, her fangs gleaming sweatly. Was there anything to say?

Pyroth nodded, he could only imagine what it would be like to have a combo serum, with five or six animals gnawing on your brain with their conflicting behaviours and attitudes. He knew there were people worse off than he was but of late that hadn't changed the slump he had fallen into. Things could be worse but not by much. He smirked at Bobby for her jibe though.
"Bah, I can see just fine. Good enough to keep the things that count in focus." he grinned.
But the dire mood returned again as he partially wanted it to, the only way to deal with his fears was to toss them into the open. That alone was enough for him. He shrugged " I have no idea what else could change. Maybe I'll end up totally unable to walk. Maybe it could be something worse." he didn't want to think about it, his mind had lots of lovely possibilities it could dream up, all of them nightmarish.
He couldn't help himself when Bobby hugged him again and for once he let go of his somewhat stoic composure and returned the hug, leaning his muzzle on her shoulder and closing his eyes for just that second. Bobby'd probably never know that for Pyroth she was the only true source of comfort he could find on the island, that her words rang true where others rang hollow. All too soon for him, the hug was over, but in it's wake Bobby had left him a glimmer of hope, a spark to his mood. Simply hearing that she could still care for him, even when he was at his lowest gave him hope.
He couldn't really help his tail wagging the way it was.
He nodded. "Thanks. I just wanted to say some things out loud that needed to be heard, you don't have to say anything." he gave her a warm and slightly mischevious grin. "The hug worked wonders enough."
With a chuckle, he waved off the atmosphere slightly. "Sorry for putting you on the spot like that. I had a moment of crisis and thought "hey! I should go place an emotional burden on Bobby!"" he cracked up into light hearted laughter. "I'm terrible."
Looking thoughtful, he raised a brow and flicked his ear, totally off topic for that moment. "And I never realised how ticklish my ears were before."

"Yeah," Bobby took a handful of milk duds and plopped them in her mouth, "it could be much worssssshhhhe." Her words were starting to slur. "May not be abbble to haaaaf sex anymoure."
The words just came out without a pause, as if she had said something about eating a sandwich. By the end of the words, though, her mouth was full of caramel and chocolate, and a little difficult to chew kindly. She was trying to dislodge her bottom jaw to her top, and not doing a good job.
Upon feeling the coyote's tail wagging, Bobby looked back and grinned, a mixture of tan and brown seeping through her teeth. "I do like the tail, it's a lot better than mine... which just kinda sits there and may twitch a couple times," the smacking of the candy accented certain words... but she got them out. The pig looked bad over her shoulder, as best she could, to see it. As if on cue, it twitched to the side in its own, pathetic, tail wag.
Trying to deal with the irritating feeling, Bobby ran her tongue along her teeth to try and smooth it off. "I don't mind at all. You don't have to apologize for anything, I'm glad I could help! And you are /not/ terrible...!"
"Oh really?" Bobby eyed the coyote impishly and reached over to tickle his ears with a hoof.

Pyroth grinned at Bobby's comment, raising a brow "Nah, that wouldn't matter much to me, not now at any rate. I mean look at me, who's going to want to touch me when I look like this?" he shrugged "Anyway, it wasn't exactly like I was the most attractive person around before anyway."
He was almost distracted by Bobby's eating, finding himself mesmerised by her attempts to eat the caramel. He didn't comment though, only grinned a little wider "Nah, your tail is nice, it's cute in a way." He'd never have thought someday he'd be telling someone that their tail was a cute thing rather than freaking out over it. Apparently the longer you were here the more normal it got.
Giving Bobby a grateful nudge with a shoulder he looked at his paws "Thanks."
He twitched his ears as she tickled them putting them flatter and playfully protesting "Hey-ey! I said they were ticklish! And the first thing you do? Poke 'em!"

Bobby managed the last of the candy, and swallowed as the sweetness ran to the bck of her mouth and down her throat. Eyeing the coyote, trying to play with his ears, the woman snorted, "I've seen worse. Lived in New York City, remember?" she winked. "And besides... I don't have anything to compare your looks with. You've always been furry!"
She chuckled a little, small pig noises errupting within the laugher. "My tail? You try and straighten it and let it spring back I'll have to tickle you more!" Bobby poked an ear 'threateningly'.
"Poke 'em, doke 'em, loke 'em" she rhymned, making no sense. Bobby tried to get a hoof finger under and ear to tickle it more.

Pyroth laughed "In my case I'd say it's a good thing you haven't got anything to compare it with, I wasn't exactly a looker, you know?" he smirked "Though if I said I was a total hunk, you'd have to believe me, eh?" The sheer absurdity of this made him grin all the wider.
"Ohmy. Now you are giving me ideas. I can't not pull the tail now, it'd torment me forever." and with a cackle, he did just that, straightening out Bobby's tail only to let it spring back.
He was about to say more but Bobby tickling his ear made him attempt to wriggle away with a helpless whimper "Assault!" he yelled playfully.

Bobby snapped her teeth at Pyroth, "I don't think I'd be inclined to believe you now, hunk or not." Bringing her face close to the coyote's grin, the pig reached up with an unsuspecting hoofed finger and poked a sharp canine tooth.
Her. Tail. Was. Sprung. The pig's ear twitched, but other than that Bobby didn't move. Retaliation was so much sweeter over time. There would be a time when she would spring her own trap, no pun intended. "That... was..." she didn't finished, for she had figured out her revenge.
At Pyroth's wriggle and whimper, the pig pounced and pinned in -albeit awkwardly- to the ground. "You think that is assault?" Bobby's smile had a 'special' appearance. "I'll show you assault!" With evil laughter the pig set to work, pinning the coyote with her massive body and using both hooved hands to tickle ear, neck, and under chin.

Pyroth's grin turned a little worried at Bobby's poke, not wanting to have brought her wrath upon him. He wagged his tail appleasingly but was unable to avoid her onslaught of tickling.
He toppled, yelling, flailing and laughing his head off, damn he was ticklish with all this fur. "Help!" he yelled "Assault!..haha...can't...breathe!" He tried to wiggle free, whimpering in playful surrender. "You evil woman you!"
But of course, none of his words were of any negative intent.

Bobby continued her assault playfully. Not long after, she was exhausted. All that energy... the pig wasn't used to such intense movement. Pulling herself away, panting with little pig snorts and grunts emitting from her parted mouth; the woman's grin was evident. As was the glint in her eyes. "I..." she gasped, "win!"
Even though she was pooped out, Bobby raised a hoofed hand, perfect for the amount of tickling that was just put onto Pyroth, threateningly. She was just taunting him to disagree with her.
Evil? Of course I am evil, she thought with a wide, innocent smiled. I am Bobby Reynolds!

Pyroth nodded and held his paws up in mock deference, ears back. He agreed "Yes, definately, you win, I give up!" but he couldn't keep it up long, a grin curved back across his muzzle. He made to sit up from where he'd been pinned and move back onto the step with another laugh. "I knew your wrath was to be feared!"
Giving her another appleasing wag of his tail he yawned, stretching "My sleeping patterns really are out of whack lately, one minute I'm too awake to rest, the next I feel like I haven't slept in years." he flicked an ear "This place messes with your head. Your body too." he frowned once before smiling again "Though I'm kind of glad they gave you your tail, it's freakin' adorable."
