Basil laughed. It was good to see her in a better mood. She had changed some since they had met, sure they had their awkward moments like when they would pass each other sometimes and he caught her staring at his behind, or when he would accidentally find, and hear, her grumbling over the small belly that had formed. Life with her was still wonderful.

"Oh well you know, I know how you are when you garden. You loose all track of time. So! I thought I'd bring you lunch!" he smiled revealing a picnic basket filled with a couple subsandwiches and such. "You wouldn't mind taking a break and enjoying a picnic lunch with a friend would you?" Basil blushed shyly.

Looking at her belly, somewhat covered in dirt, he chuckled. "Looks like the baby's helping too! I bet it's going to become a master gardener! Oh yes!! Yes you are going to garden aren't you? Your mommy will teach you all there is to about gardens I'm sure and how to stomp on feet properly when they walk on the grass.." he bend down and cooed to it. Basil loved seeing her get all flustered, Cecila was so cute when she was denying she was pregnant.

He had slowly developed feelings for her, but was too shy to say so. Instead, Basil cooked for her as a show of affection, though he hid it well. He was glad to see that she had gained a bit of healthy weight too, when they had first met she was alot scrawnier than she was now. No doubt she was mad at him for it, but he couldn't help it. Basil knew she was pregnant, even if she wanted to deny it.

After a while he stood up and sighed. "Sorry about that, how's your garden coming along Cecilia?" Basil asked happily standing there holding the picnic basket. He looked like one of those people that went door to door selling cookies.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 28, 2013 10:19 pm

"your right Basil. I think you know a little too well by now" she gave a shifty look towards him, but it was in a playful way. "Yeah, I sort of skipped breakfast, didn't feel like it today. Wanted to start on this early. I swear, either this city had a crap gardener or never had one if the first place, that's what it feels like anyway" They probably were good, but most likely focused on the more public areas instead of small clearings in the trees and things. All plants were important to Cecilia, no matter where they were growing.

He then started to talk to her small tummy, which made her almost burst out laughing. It wasn't even a real bump yet and still he was treating it as such. She just took it as a joke really nothing serious, but still played along so she didn't look like a moody grump about her pregnancy, no matter how much she denied it. "Maybe they will, but I have a feeling they like your food alot better then my gardening. All I do is probably wear them out" she snorted in a laugh "Maybe you can teach them cooking, if you haven't found a lovely lady by then" she exaggerated in a tease by talking all girly and flicking her silvery hair. It wasn't like her to be like that, but she liked the playful banter they both had with each other, made the day more fun.

"A picnic? mmmm sounds lovely. Did you bring a blanket with you as well?" Cecilia asked, not wanting any crumbs and and things on the grass. She would left him walk in the grass now, but still.. rubbish and crumbs made her feel OCD when it came to gardens.

Basil frowned a bit, placed one hand on his hip and pointed to her. "Yeah I know! I was making pancakes and called for you after I got up. Then I found you gone! Cecilia weather you feel like it or not, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! You have to eat! It'll help you out greatly, not to mention the little ones inside of you!" he lectured slightly. Just as she would get irritated with people messing with her gardens, Basil was the same with people skipping out of meals. But he couldn't stay mad at her, and his frown melted away into a happy and warm smile again.

Blushing slightly at her flirting banter he walked over and gently poked her stomach. "Well how do you not know that I'm just trying to make you chubby? I hear chubby bunnies are fun to snuggle these days!" he said bantering back while laughing happily with her. He too enjoyed it, Cecilia was a whole other person when they bantered. It was cute..

"Of course I have a blanket! What kind of fool do you take me for? I've had you stomp on my bruised toes enough times to know not to accidentally poke around at your green thumb. That's why I left the umbrella at home." he said with light sarcasm as he just smiled at her.

Pulling out the blanket, he then took her hand and led Cecilia to a spot nearby, unfolded the blanket and set the picnic basket upon it. "I figured we could share a sub sandwich. I've also got some potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and for dessert a couple pieces of chocolate pudding pie for us. Oh and there's sparkling grape juice! I would have brought wine, but if you are pregnant I wouldn't want to hurt the children within you. Help yourself to whatever you'd like first Ceci." he said happily calling her a nickname that he had started to refer her too about a week ago. At first he wasn't sure if she would like it, but really didn't seem to cringe or anything when he said it. Handing her a plate he sat upon the blanket himself digging into the food.

Basil was just as hungry as she probably was, since he secretly skipped breakfast too buuut, he wasn't going to tell her that.

She was worried she had made him mad with skipping a meal. It didn't seem like a big deal to her, she always skipped a meal or two. But she guessed Basil wasn't going to allow that. He knew his stuff and was right, breakfast was important, even she knew that. Her fears of him being angry were soon lifted after a smile curled round his face. "I bet they were really tasty too, I love my pancakes. I'll eat breakfast from now on, if that'll make you happy." He was doing because he cared, but because he wanted to force her to eat or anything and she picked up on that.

His poke did actually tickle her, making her ears and tail flick in one rapid action. She couldn't help but laugh at his chubby bunny comment too, "maybe you are. For all I know your trying to fatten me up and cook me for Rabbit Hasenpfeffer" Cecilia snickered. She only know about that recipe because people would joke and ask her if she did indeed taste like rabbit. Had no idea what the meal was, but still.. it was a rabbit meal joke to slide in there.

"Oh yeah," she felt pretty bad about hurting his feet like that in the past, but she had calmed down a little. It was a good idea he didn't bring an umbrella though, she still wouldn't of been happy about that. "sorry about that..I won't do it again. We don't need an umbrella anyway, the sun is too nice to block out today"

The blanket he laid out looked nice and clean. A red and white checkered pattern on it like your average picnic blanket, but it was still lovely and soft to sit on. Macaroni cheese was the word that hit her ears, she had never had it before but heard people went crazy for the stuff. So decided to try it first, it looked just like a regular pasta but with just smaller pasta tubes. As soon as it hit her tongue she could see why people loved it! "mmmm this is amazing.. I could eat so much of this stuff.." Cecilia then heard about the drink situation, it did make her a little down he wouldn't let her have any wine. She really did miss the booze but grape juice was close enough.

"OH! By the way!" she scoffed out in between chews. Then realising it might be a little rude to talk with her mouth full, she swallowed the macaroni that was in her mouth before speaking again "I went out and got you something today" she explained "I feel really bad you've had to sleep on that soda for almost a month now, so I arranged for a new bed to be dropped of at our house today" the Viera said happily, tucking into some potato salad now. "But, there is a catch. It's a double bed.. they said I could keep the single I already have so that's not the issue. I was wondering if you wanted the double or the single? It was the only one they would give me.. seeing as how we have been set up and things. I only really did it because..." she then began to whisper incase anyone was snooping "Because we haven't really planned on any sort of escape yet.. so you need to be comfortable for now.."

Basil smiled. "Oh well I could fatten you up, but I wouldn't cook you. I'd just cuddle you like one of those giant stuffed bunny toys all day." he chuckled happily. Watching her dive into the mac 'n cheese he smiled. He was glad she had an appetite. After her throwing up everything for the past few weeks he was so thrilled to find her wolfing down everything in sight. Thrilled, yet a little concerned. Cecilia would become fat if she ate too many fatty foods.

The food had a few calories today, but it was a special lunch. Normally he did his best to cook as healthy as possible for them both. He munched into half of the sandwich as he listened to her talk about a new bed.

"Hmmm...well we can't keep both. Your house is just too small for that one. Why don't we just keep the double, it's bigger and I'm sure your back needs it just as much as mine does..t-the only pr-problem is that we might have to uhh..well. We might have to..share the bed. N-Not that I mind. After all I want you to be as comfortable as possible Cecilia." he said blushing shyly.

Had she done that on purpose? Was there a hidden meaning behind ordering a new bed? He had no clue, but after calming down a bit he looked up at her and smiled. "Thank you for the bed Cecilia. That was really sweet of you to be so concerned about me. I don't think it's a problem if we have to share, I'm sure it's big enough for us to have our own side." he said happily, knowing that if he got nervous or studdered a little she got upset.

At first he didn't pick up on it, but now he tried his best not to be nervous around her when she suddenly hugged him or grabbed his arm. Basil figured she needed a hug or hand every now and again. He could only imagine what she would be like when the mood swings eventually came into play and she was later in months. Shoving that thought away, Basil focused on this moment and this day with her and happily watched his bunny friend eat.

She was pretty hungry, skipping breakfast and all the work she did really made her stomach grumble before he even turned up. Cecilia was going to ignore it until he showed up with a yummy selection of things for her to try out. "Oh you wouldn't eat me? That's nice atleast" she smiled playfully.

Cecilia hadn't realised that her home probably was too small for two beds, she was hoping to move the single into the living room and have the new double in the real bedroom. But thinking on it more, he was probably right, she didn't think properly. "Your right Basil..." she sighed, slapping her forehead lightly in her mess up. "I wasn't thinking about that.. I just saw a bed and ordered it on the spot. I should've thought on it more." It was a spontaneous purchase really, not a hint or anything towards him, it was really the only bed she was allowed. "I don't mind sharing either, I had to share a two man tent with six people once. Really tight squeeze it was" she told him, gulping down some of the deep red juice with a lick of her lips after. It tasted really fresh, something she loved. "It's a pretty big bed, I did a starfish on it and my arms couldn't even reach the edges, it must be bigger then a double. Possibly king-size or super king. But if your worried about us being umm.. too close, you can put a pillow between us or something."

"How could I eat you Cecilia? What kind of friend would I be. Besides you're fun to have around! I'd miss you too much!" Basil admitted sweetly happy that she was at least eating. He was done himself, so most of whatever was left would go to her until she was full.

Shaking his head he just gave a shrug. "It's a common mistake. I don't think we'll have a problem sleeping together it'll be fun sharing a bed! Uhh..w-wait I didn't mean it like that..umm..." blushing deeply now he felt so embarassed.

"A-Anyway, I..uhh..got nothing. Wow that was bad..sorry. I hope you know what I meant though." he said looking away shyly only to spot two random pregnant women giggling at them both. Their small little 'romantic' picnic had drawn a few women to watch. Some were drooling at the food. He could only smile awkwardly but now he kind of knew how Cecilia felt.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 29, 2013 4:13 pm

She snorted a laugh, making some of the grape juice shoot out her nose as she drank it. It was something in her mind she thought of as he was talking. Cleaning the juice up to as much as she could she started to tell him. "Hmmm you sure?" Cecilia asked, giving a playful slap to her leg "I work out, so my meat is probably lean you know" a laughed burst out from her, she didn't know why it was so funny, but it tickled her funny bone.

The came the issue of the bed again, he was kinda cute when he stumbled on his words. Cecilia had no idea what he wanted to say, but what she hoped probably wasn't it. "Hey think of it this way, you have a chubby bunny toy to cuddle up to then don't you?" she smiled, bringing up his earlier comment about her body, even if she didn't like it too much. It was still kinda funny and sweet.

She noticed the two women too and gave an angry sigh. Why wouldn't they leave her alone? It was just an innocent picnic, nothing more then that. Being fed up all day about them, this was the final straw for her. "wait here" she whispered to Basil as she stood up and placed a soft hand on his shoulder. After she gave a comforting smile towards him, it quickly melted to an annoyed look. Storming up to the fat women "What the hell is your problem hmm?! You've been following me all day, and now you start hounding at my man?" Cecilia boomed out, oddly enough she still had a fork in her hand which was being squeezed in her grip.

Basil's blush hadn't left his face. Was she flirting with him? Cecilia was sure acting a bit stranger than she usually was. Watching her storm off though and yelling at the women he chuckled quietly. It was hard to take her serious with her waving that fork around. Basil had to admit she had some nice hips though, but the thought of staring at her bottom faded when he suddenly felt guilty for staring.

The women yelped and hobbled off scared of the bunny girl. Most of the women had learned to leave her alone, or were overly afraid of the Grumpy Bunny a small nickname Cecilia had recieved when the women talked about her. Some were jealous that she took one of the only cooks to be her mate, yet those were the breaks. As the two women waddled away, the bunny and the cook were left alone yet again.

Basil had looked away from her now cleaning up some of the picnic. Anything to get his mind off of staring at her. That was the bad thing about her gaining some weight during her pregnancy, other parts of her were starting to gain a bit as well. With her wearing mostly revealing outfits, it was getting harder and harder for him. He wasn't a perve, but Cecila had some pretty nice curves now and he wasn't going to lie about it.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 29, 2013 4:58 pm

Cecilia had no idea of the little nickname that had spread across the city about her, if she had known it might of saddened her to think everyone thought of her like that. But she had every reason to shout at them, they were poking their noses in and spying like a bunch of school girls at the kissing spot everyone went to. It was an invasion of privacy, maybe she would've made a move if those idiots hadn't of shown up, who knew.

The fluffy ears atop her head flopped as she gave a sigh once the women were gone. It was then she noticed the fork in her hand and realised she must of looked crazy waving it around like a mad woman. It made her chuckle a little, but still didn't brighten her mood fully. She didn't know that most of them were jealous of fact she had chosen one of the best cooks around, nor did she care. They should've got him first, their loss. Cecilia felt he was better off with her anyway, from what she saw from the other men, Basil was treated much better. No matter what the males of the human race had done to her, it was no excuse to take it out on another.

"sorry about that.." she laughed nervously, walking back over and helping him pack up everything from her lunch. "I hope I didn't scare you or anything."

"You alright?" he asks with concern. Standing up, Basil begins to gently massage one of her drooped ears. "Maybe we should head home. After all we have a bed to move, or maybe not move." he said with a gentle smile.

Little did they know that the bed had been delivered and installed already. Those that delivered it were strong men that worked for the small furniture company. When Cecilia and Basil would arrive they would be surprised at the size and alluring appearance of the bed she had ordered.

Once everything was packed up, he took her hand and smiled. "No, you didn't scare me. You look cute all flustered like that honestly. By the way, have I ever told you that you do a wonderful job at gardening Cecilia?" he asks gently squeezing her hand as he looks around at the beauty all around them. He can tell she put alot into her work.

"Oh! I was wondering when you were going to get to planting that herb garden? Do you mind if I help? It could be a project we do together. I think gardening would be fun to learn. That way maybe I can help you a little when you're much rounder and heavier. What do you think?" he said softly and quietly for only her to hear.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 29, 2013 6:16 pm

His soft massage to her ears calmed her mood instantly without delay. He had gotten really good at it now, which was a bonus for Cecilia if she ever looked stressed. This was only on a rare occasion since having him in her life though, he really did brighten ever aspect. "I'm fine, thank you for the ear rub. Lovely as always" the bunny woman smiled warmly to show her thanks through her expression. "you're right, the plants I haven't got to can wait for another day. We might need to assemble this bed too, I really have no idea. I just hope they get it delivered before we do actually need to sleep." she knew that from deliveries to the shop she took an apprentice ship in sometimes didn't even show up till the last hour of the day, or even days after. So she wasn't getting her hopes up on anything being there already.

She felt it was safe to leave the un-planted bulbs there for today, Cecilia never used any tools to dig and things so that wasn't a problem either. Hearing his compliment made her ears perk up and her cheeks turn a rose pink. "No, I don't think you did.." she manage to smile through her obvious blush. Cecilia was very proud of what she was doing. The blossoms in the trees looked happy and healthy, waiting to close back up and create fruit, ready do be harvested in the coming months. "Thank you very much though, Oh yes! your herb garden that's correct" The Viera beamed, giving his hand a loving squeeze "I've collected a few seeds to start us off, I found some growing in the un-pruned areas if I'm honest. But we can make a small patch for you in our own garden" she smiled looking into his eyes, meaning every word that came out her mouth. "I'd love to teach you, you could start to grow your own vegetables and things if you'd like too. But.. only if you teach me how to make a cake.. deal?" Cecilia held out her free hand to seal it.

Shaking her hand he smiled. "Deal. Is there any type of cake you'd like to make? Of course I could just also have you help me with dinner sometimes. It's always nice cooking with others." he happily said as they strolled along.

Basil was quiet for a little while as they walked, obviously allowing Cecilia to lead. She always took the more scenec routes, or hidden pathways that the other women were too round to walk into. He loved holding her hand, Basil could do it all day. Little did they know, they looked like a cute couple when they were holding hands.

Finally arriving at their house, one of the mover men asked for her signature. He told her that the job was pretty much done, and the bed was ready for use. Basil stayed by her side waiting.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 29, 2013 8:08 pm

"Well I really liked that carrot cake, that seems to be my favorite. And yes I know how it looks, a rabbit liking a carrot cake. Yes, yes very funny" she rolled her eyes playfully with a smile and wiggle of her tail. "I'd like to see what a muffin is like I must admit." knowing Basil he probably knew how to make muffins easily, so asking about random foods wasn't an issue really for her. She only knew the basics of what was what.

She did lead him through a quite spot like usual, even the odd time they would have to duck under low growing branches and things. But Cecilia loved doing that, left a warm feeling in her heart seeing nature grow where ever it wanted. Small beams of sunlight that broke through the leaves would on both their skins, it was beautiful to Cecilia. Occasionally she would look to Basil next to her and give a smile.

After seeing their home come into view, the delivery men where there. Cecilia was worried they were about to leave because no one was there to let him in. In thinking this, she let go of Basil's hand and darted off to see whagoldenrodng on. "The jobs done?" she asked confused, being told the bed was already in place. It was a pleasant surprise really, less work for her and Basil to do. Cecilia signed the form as asked, it really didn't like like her name really.. the squiggle didn't look like it had any C's in it.

The men gave her a salute of respect then packed up. By the time he caught up with her, they were gone. "So what's happening?" he asked with curiosity. Basil was thinking of actually making muffins, so he would just have her tag along. They could do that once inside, after they looked at the bed first.

And what a grand looking bed it was. It looked very soft and comfortable, but also had a romantic feel about it. It took up a bit more of her room, but that didn't matter too much because the bunny girl didn't have much to begin with.

"Wow..that's a bed alright. Are you sure that's the one you checked out Cecilia?" he asked blushing with embarassment. There had been something on his mind though. Basil had been curious about her true name, three weeks ago she had mentioned she had a real name. It had been bouncing around his mind ever since she told him.

He wanted to ask, and had tried a few times. Yet, he also didn't want her to feel offended or miss her home. Still he wondered if she would even tell him.
