"Oh well... Oh? A first time in the city you say?" Emilia asked a little bit of emotion perked up in her voice. "Be very careful around here. Do you need someone to watch your back? I am a mercenary." Emilia offered since she didn't sense anything wrong with Mari. "Hello?" the red head said as she looked up to see the pale snake man. Her eyes went wide as he killed the leader of the kingdom. Though she knew it was none of her business, but something was wrong here. "Quite a bold move for an assassin... What are you playing at?" Emilia asked as she took out her knife. The people around them screamed in horror as their King fell dead. None of this made sense. Where were the King's Guards? Where are they now?

Tex calmly walked up to the other side of Mari, so Emilia was on one side and Tex was on the other. She quietly prepared , placing her hand on the hilt of her sword.

It reminded her of the fall of her clan, their bodies were scattered, a scene no different than what it is now. Standing behind Mari, Ina pulled her staff from her back which glowed with the light on her hand earlier. “I will help you too.” She said to Mari, and started to chant, channeling her energy into the staff, preparing for battle. Emilia smiled at the odd's, giving the assassin a crazy eyed look. "Why... I think this is coming along nicely. Us, a bunch of girls, kicking your face in. Along with the guards that support your 'leader; whoever he is! I love it..." Emilia said with a wide smile as she waited for Thresher.

✮ Hasina Morgana Aeronwen ✮ ✮ — ¤ ÷ ( ` [ ¤ * ¤ * ¤ ] ´ ) ÷ ¤ — ✮ Ina shook her head, and gave Tex a smile. “It’s okay; let’s focus on the matter at this current time.” She looked at Thresher, who harbored the same energy patterns similar to the others, but he was a threat, and strong too. “Please be cautious, I feel a lot of power coming from him.” She warned Emilia and Tex before placing her hand on Mari’s shoulder. “Both of us are pure magic users, it would be best to have some protection physically.” When the staff was charged enough, a barrier of energy began to form around them. She then placed some energy into Tex’s and Emilia’s weapons. “Pure energy will help power your attacks, but it will gradually run out. It will at least give us some head start in this battle.” Trying to help all of them the best she could, Ina was worried since the energy patterns Thresher released was powerful. From what Ina assessed at this point, the barrier would be able to block seven times before breaking, the energy she gave them would last for at least five minutes before running out. Tex and Emilia are skilled with fighting, while Emilia and Ina had power, they are inexperienced. She was prepared to give it to them again, but by that time it would be difficult. “Please be careful everyone, if we win this we can go drink a cup of coffee with desserts later.” She smiled happily, hiding her own worries, what they needed right now is not something to drag them down, but hope. ✮ — ¤ ÷ ( ` [ ¤ * ¤ * ¤ ] ´ ) ÷ ¤ — ✮ Location: Avalon - City

 Oroles pulled out his blades and took his place behind the group, preparing to leap over the girls to meet the assassin head on should he choose to rush the group. I'll provide whatever physical protection your barrier fails to" he assured Ina, "Besides, birds kill and eat snakes, its what we do" he added cheerfully.
