I actually thought using dig on it a few times could result in a miss before I learned it couldn't even use levitate.

You know, I don't think I've ever actually used dig on a magnemite before.

I've done it with Weavile and Leafeon.

I think I've had an Eevee with dig, but I didn't use dig that often.

I have a balanced set for Weavile. Leftovers, Dig, Night Slash, Ice Punch, and Substitute.

Last time I used Weavile, I think he had, Blizzard, False Swipe, Shadow Claw, and Ice Beam...I don't recall what he was holding.

I don't like using special moves on him, I much prefer physical moves since he uses them better. Unfortunately, they're all contact moves, lol.

Well, he's usually my "catching" pokemon, so I'd usually need the special moves to quickly drop the targets health, then just attack with false swipe..(now that I think about it, it might have had a different name) to drop it's hp to one, before trying to catch it.

That's funny, but not funny.
I've had plenty of pokemon KO themselves when I was trying to catch them that way.

They do it so much in the series, why not allow people to get xp as WELL as catch the pokemon?

Exactly!
I mean, they fainted which means you knocked them out..so why can't you just snag the bugger as it lays there, completely out of it?

Hey! If I just took down Raquaza with a freakin Caterpie, I don't care if it'd be too easy, I deserve an easy catch!

Some are just irritatingly difficult to catch. Umbreon is a good pokemon because of durability, and leftovers help it recover. Also, can deal damage without draining the target's health too fast.

True, though I guess that's part of the challenge.

A challenge I don't see them getting rid of in the main series. Might get one of the tactical games if they make a new one. Also, they may be making an HD pokemon stadium of sorts, and I saw Lucario and what looked like someone else facing it.

Sounds promising.
I've also found something about a new (though from the seems of it, one shot) pokemon anime with Red as the main character.

So how's it going to be different from the current show?
