"I've seen the things that would make your skin crawl. Humans can cause the chaos of demons if given the chance." Manga turned to face Sebastian, her expression hard to read with her mask on. "Quite frankly, I have just as much an aversion as he has, though mine isn't race-specific."
Emmie nibbled on her cookie, looking a little uncomfortable at Aila's question. Wordlessly she rolled up her sleeve so that her slave mark was visible. "... Ran away."
Tkal instinctively jumped back at the puffing, a little more on edge now. "... Fine. Just stop doing that. It's unfun."

Karia laughed and turned her side to him so that he could climb up.
Maddie nodded, watching her sister. "We don't 'member much.. been slaves for long time...."
Sebastian shook his head. "So who do you like?" He asked, realizing that he was asking questions about her, and she was answering, and not wanting payment for it. So perhaps Tkal had been right... but Sebastian didn't want to get his hopes up.
Aila nodded. "Well you two are more than welcome to stay here as long as you like. You won't have to be slaves either."

Tkal struggled a bit to get onto Karia's back, mentally cursing his height. He managed it though, fidgeting a bit.
Emmie nodded in confirmation of her twin's statement, her face lighting up at Aila's words. "Really?" she asked, her voice a whisper.
Manga blinked behind her mask, but smiled. "That information has a high price," she replied. It was personal information, after all. Very personal.

Karia grinned, looking back at the male. "Now grab onto my mane and just sit tight." She instructed as she set off.
Aila nodded. "Really. If you do stay, however, there will be some things you'll need to do to help, and you will have to listen to whatever grownups are here at the time, okay?"
Sebastian blinked before nodding. "Well alright then." He said, turning to look at the two girls and Aila.

Tkal grasped the mane, trying to make sure his grip was firm but not so hard that he'd hurt the mare.
Emmie nodded. "... No whips?" she asked timidly.
Manga smiled and walked over to the girls. "You won't be whipped. We'll take good care of you, alright?"

~ * ~ TIME SKIP ~ * ~ Emmalyn's feet carried her to Sebastian's room as fast as they were able, her little hands pounding on the door when she arrived. Something had happened last night. Emmie remembered waking up due to a noise in the hallway, and Manga coaxing her back to sleep as the masked woman went out to check. But when she woke up in the morning, Only Madilyn was with her. She'd already searched the house, and the only thing she'd found was a corpse with one of Manga's crossbow bolts in it. Something had happened; something bad.

Sebastian woke up, groggy from his lack of sleep as he had traveled yesterday to visit Paimon and Ca and only returned late last night, obviously before the napping of Manga. He sat up and rubbed his face, looking down at the young girl. "Whats wrong?" He asked, sitting fully up.
Maddie just happened to still be sleeping.

Scared tears sprang to Emmie's eyes as she spoke. "M-Manga's gone," she managed. "And t-there's a body in the hall..." The man had looked a lot like their slavers. Had they come for her and Maddie--and found a bigger prize in their masked savior?

Sebastian sprang up, grabbing up the girl in his arms and hurrying out into the hallway. Seeing the body he stepped gingerly over it and set Maddie down in the doorway. "Go back to your room, okay? I'm gonna get Miss Aila to let her know whats going on, and I will go look for Manga." he lightly touseled her hair before going to Aila's room to wake her up.
Aila woke and followed Sebastian out into the hall, helping him drag the body to the backyard. She nodded when Sebastian told her that he was going to search for Manga, and agreed to stay with the girls.
Sebastian hurried back inside as Aila went to comfort the girls, and quickly changed into his day clothes and grabbed his ready packed bag, and headed out the door as fast and wordlessly as possible. His first stop? Paimon and Ca. He needed Paimon's help.

Emmie nodded reluctantly, returning to her room and sitting by the sleeping Maddie. She hoped that Manga came back soon...
Ca Thu Thi lifted her head when she heard footsteps. It was Sebastian, and he seemed in a hurry. "Paimon."

Maddie woke up and looked up at her sister, who was giving off her 'worried' vibe. "Wha's wrong sissa?" She asked sleepily, slipping her hand into Emmie's.
Sebastian gave a terse smile at Ca as he watched Paimon approach. 'Manga's been taken. I need help." He said simply.
Paimon nodded and looked back at Ca as he sidled so Sebastian could climb upon his back. "Are you coming with us?" He asked, having already told her of his Chosen's feelings for this female.

Emmie sniffled. "M-Manga's gone... Sebby went to find her..."
Ca wordlessly got to her feet as well. She would help. Sebastian cared about this girl in a similar way that Paimon felt about her. She couldn't help feeling intrigued.

Maddie sat up and cuddled her twin, eveloping her in her scrawny arms, her bunny ears laying down over her head and flopping into her eyes comically. "Sebby will find her... she's gonna be okay."
Paimon smiled at his mate and gave her a quick nuzzle before turning the way that Seb's mind indicated and moved into a trot. He turned back to Ca. "We will probably be fighting..." He said, wondering if she was healed enough for this trip.
Sebastian sat stonily upon the saddle, his eyes focused ahead, his mind concentrating on believing that Manga was okay.

Emmie sniffled and nodded. "Un..." He would find her. He had to find her...
Ca Thu Thi rolled her eyes and snorted. She wasn't battling Ruin; a few humans wouldn't be able to hold a candle to her. After a bit of walking, she froze, ears swiveling to catch sound. She heard something.
Manga was leaning against a tree, crossbow in hand as her eyes wearily scanned her surroundings. "Are there any more, Danny?"
"I don't hear any more." The Skh'et replied, shuffling around the bags of items stolen from the slave captives. "Aha! Found 'em." Danny pulled out a set of lockpicks, using them to undo the shackles on her wrists and ankles. "Are you alright, though, Doll?" The informant sighed. "I told you, it's Manga here, Danny... And why are you talking like that?" The voice was so masculine. Danny chuckled. "Habit. I've been parading as a man since... almost right after we all split up. They weren't looking for a Skh'et boy, after all." The conversation might've continued, except a final slaver has snuck up on the Skh'et and tackled her. Danny yelped, wrestling with the opponent and cursing all the while in that masculine voice.

Sebastian and Paimon turned as one towards the sound of the scuffle and galloped towards them. Seeing Manga and the Sh'ket being attacked, Sebastian drew his double knives and leapt down off of the flaming stallion's back and landed on the slaver, burying his blade to the hilt in the man's back as Paimon turned towards the other slavers that were coming upon them, and met them halfway, flames dancing from his pelt, looking very much the son of Ruin.
