For a moment all would be silent, the calm before the storm, but soon enough the entire bed would begin to violently shake as water began to pool from underneath. A moment later the Shellder would surge out from beneath the bed on the other side, intending to crash in to Solo from behind propelled by a jet of water!
The sudden reappearance of the pokemon as it rose high was enough to make him scramble to get out of the way. His entire body launching himself from the bed to the floor as he gave a very loud .....SHOUT as he used Hyper voice to try and secure some measure of safety as he scramble away.
"Interesting use of Dive."
Victoria would declare as she points a finger at the trainer.
"BUT STILL, it's no excuse for indecency ...put some damn clothes on."
SHe would declares matching Solo in his Hyper Voice in term of volume.
552. DIVE = Con. type Beauty = regular attack formula
This move has the user diving under the water to avoid an attack duirng it's first turn, and burst out to attack during the user's next attack turn. Dive only does dmg on it's second turn, and will hit no matter what if the opponent is unable to keep the user from going underwater the first turn.In other words, no matter what the accuaracy roll says ...the attack will hit, and the dmg will be calculated according to the rules of this attack.
(It hit...I failed to avoid the first time around, but surprisingly enough, so does Hyper Voice.)
(6 - 7 + 14 - 11 = 2dmg - Solo)
(7- 6 + 11 - 9 = 3dmg - Shellder) The attack would collide against his side as he was blasted backwards on the bed. The Eevee thrown off by the attack itself .....since it seemed that they had both managed to hit. THe little brown Eevee would flick and kick a bit before he flip himself back over as he bared his fangs.
This was the first time he had taken an hit so far, and he wasn't happy about it ....as he lock eyes as Victoria shouted at him.
"Stay on your paws. Try your best to avoid this attack."
Victoria was stating the obvious as he rolled his eyes as he bounces lightly from one foot to another on the bed.
"Hey now little lady, I'm totally within beach regulations!" The swimmer declared, striking a pose and flexing his wiry muscles before shouting a command to his Shellder "Shelly be a dear and Withdraw!" The response could come in the form of the shellfish rolling her eyes ">Brilliant strategy. Wish I'd thought of that<" She retorted clamping shut but not clamming up apparently.
Victoria would shout at the top of her lungs as she put one hand against her face. She was trying her best to keep the headache at bay. This battle was one big headache as she realize something quite appalling ...none of the room she had dealt with have been normal so far. First it was the freaking Premonition girl, then it was the polka player, and finally ....there is the stupid ...beach man.
She was stuck with nothing but trouble at this point.
"Solo, use Hyper Voice again."
Solo would flick one ear at her at this point as the earring would jingle lightly. She made it sound like he had only one move ...as he growled lightly, but he would still compile for now as he gave a booming yell.
His voice would echo around the area as he used Hyper Voice again.

"Such language for one so young! That is definitely against beach rules!" The swimmer stated, apparently missing the child's otherwise excellent point entirely. Shelly would at that point let loose an audible groan, apparently the Water-Type shared a similar opinion of her Trainer as those presently battling him...and her. Of course she wasn't in a position to state this was she continued to remain tightly, and protectively inside her purple shell.

A small puff of smoke would seemingly escape her ears as he made that statement and she would wobble a bit on her feet. She was feeling completely drain at this point. There was nothing else that she could do at this point as she decided to look away and then decide upon something else....as she focuses on the battle instead.
Solo's voice wouldn't even managed to make the shell tremble.
(This is stupid, we got to try something else.)
he would complain loudly to her as Victoria would only shrug once.
"I am all up for suggestions you know."
The girl would answer forgetting that no one else could understand their conversation as Solo would smirk a bit at that. This was why he loved his trainer, she didn't try to make her follow someone else's rules ....she would state quite clear and honestly when he is allowed to go wild as he flick his tail and scrape his feet against the bed.
(Then I am going to try something on my next attack, but for now....)
"WATCH OUT!"
Victoria would shout to get his head back in the game as his head came up to see what his opponent was actually doing at this time.

The attack would come in a rather odd fashion. Whilst Victoria had been doing her best to look away the Swimmer had dived under the bed, swimming through the dust bunnies and popping out the other side to grab his Shellder. Then, holding her like a frisbee, the Swimmer would move his arm, flick his wrist and shout "TACKLE!" A command which would be followed by a very clear ">YOU #@%& LUNATIC!!!!<" The downside of this scream being that the Shellder had unclamped, releasing not only her defense but also that massive tongue! If Solo didn't dodge this he was either going to get a face full of shell, or tongue slapped!
THe attack would hit hard against him ...as he was knocked and slap all at the same time as he rolled once in a huge roll. He would land back on his feet again as his head would flatten against the ground as he lay on his belly. His ears down as he glares at her, and he would feel his body tremble.
(Time to go for broke)
He would turn and start to dig in the sheets throwing up blankets behind him. The covers would act as much like the sand as he could do at the moment ...as he realize he was going for broke this time. It wasn't like he had any other choice ...as he growls darkly at his opponent.
THe pain made him wince, but he wasn't done ...not yet.

The Shellder's defense would be quite typical of her species. Once more she would simply pull in to her shell and clamp it shut. She wouldn't be producing any pearls today!~
Though it would seem that she wouldn't managed to seal up in time ...or maybe the fact that the blankets weren't going anywhere would be an additional help. Unlike a human or even a four legged pokemon ..the Shellder couldn't just knock the blankets away. They would cover and keep her from being able to see clearly, and that was what he wanted as he looked this time to dart away from the attack. He was smiling as he looked at the undersheet next.
He was going to pile it on ..cover her so thickly that she would never see him coming when he finally chose to attack directly again.

Then would come the Swimmer's command "DIVE!" and the Shellder would shoot off the side of the bed, going under once more sheets in all in an attempt to get the Eevee when he least expected it!
It was like they both had thought ...as Victoria would smile dangerously. The blankets would stop the dive ....as Solo would run along the side of the bed ...as Victoria would throw one hand outwards in a striking motion.
"Make it big ....and make it loud ..use HYPER VOICE."
The Eevee didn't need another summon as he open his mouth wide and would give a howl that would revert around the entire hotel room as he rushed closer to his opponent. He would hope that being tangled would be enough to give him the edge in this match.
